Happy Birthday to Kaeya! I hope you all enjoy my ramblings about Kaeya and how that got me to think more on Kaenri'ah. If you're interested, reply here and let me know of a character you'd like to see me make a theory about next (preferably anyone I would have met before Inazuma). Right now I'm thinking about Albedo, Childe, or Zhongli. Regardless, I'm open to suggestions. :) Thanks for watching!
Well those are all of the characters I would've suggested haha. Albedo is my favourite but Zhongli is probably the most sus of all characters in the game (except maybe Venti). There's like a whole community of people dedicated to documenting things about Zhongli that don't make sense (yet).
I don't think you know enough where you could make a really interesting Zhongli theory. His character stories kinda don't tell you a lot. Albedo is a good candidate, since you have literally done all of his stuff and the only new things you could learn about him from content you haven't reached is some hexenzirkel or Khaenriah lore. Also, there's a minor inaccuracy in the video. There's no point speculating why venti went against Khaenriah, because there's a good chance he didn't. We know he mostly stays out of stuff, we know he only came back 500 years ago because of the cataclysm's influence on Mondstadt, and we also know that he was injured/poisoned in his fight against Durin and went into a slumber for 500 years. There's a good chance that that's all that happened.
Speaking of Childe, I think there is at least one voice-over in his profile that is a bit spoilery, or at least I think this info is better presented in the game later. Also if you didn't pull for a certain character, you'll probably look up their profile info in the web and there wil be stories and voice-overs that can be unlocked only after certain quests, be carerful :)
@@akshyun8920 Of course there will be inaccuracies. It's all speculation as I said in the video. To say there is no point to discuss based on a "good chance" is ridiculous. XD From what I found, Mondstadt is considered an enemy to Kaenri'ah. So I'll still make the connection regardless with what I have available. Multiple perspectives need to be considered, not just the one, and even if Venti wasn't directly involved, inaction is still an action. :)

kaeya is an interesting one. it's pretty clear that he is the most lore important 4 star of the game, and a lot more is coming that he'll be integral to. when the khaenri'ah chapter hits, he'll become lore and story important. a character doesn't have to be story important to be lore important---look at alhaitham, a driving force of the sumeru story yet has no importance to the lore of genshin. (don't worry, no story spoilers here as you haven't gotten to that point) i'm intrigued to see how your opinion and understanding of kaeya will change as the story goes on, especially as more lore is dropped about him and his, as well as more information about khaenri'ah itself and the curses laid upon it. manga kaeya is my favorite as it really displays why he's very calculated and cunning and his tendency to do things cause he's bored, although you do kinda have to be careful about the en translation as some of the dialogue didn't exist in the original (kaeya calling diluc bro and diluc telling him that kaeya's not his bro, there was jp artist who drew for the manga criticizing the en translation for that on twitter) but despite some of the errors, you can still gleam how kaeya likes to act and how he holds himself. his tendency to be sadistic (he even let his men take on a lawachurl cause he was curious and jean scolded him for it iirc), calculating, and often a master at manipulation and strategy---it makes you curious about how he became this way as a contrast from how he was seen growing up (adelinde says he was a shy boy) or if he was always like this. also, the white, open shirt suit has gotta be one of my favorite genders. the lore never gives what age kaeya came to the ragnvindrs but he was old enough to understand that he had a mission to complete, so was he already trained by the time he arrived or was this a learned behavior to keep one step ahead of everyone and to anticipate any problems that may get in the way of his mission? diluc seems to have no issue with it as it's likely he can see through a lot of it as he knows of kaeya's past, but so far, has deemed kaeya to not be a threat or else he would have dealt with him. diluc even makes use of kaeya's intelligence and they tend to meet at angel's share to exchange information, so while kaeya does like to hang out at angel's share and no doubt enjoys drinking, he is exchanging information with diluc. him hovering around the one person who intimately knows about kaeya and his story, is he playing a dangerous game as he knows how their relationship is, often teasing and sometimes goading diluc, or does he genuinely trust diluc and wants to keep him around, as stated that he does come around dawn winery every so often and stayed at the winery after diluc went to go do his teyvat murder tour after crepus' free trial of life got canceled. it's also interesting in that his name, alberich, has some fascinating details, especially in his counterpart in norse mythology and how it mirrors the alberich clan and their decisions. there is a quest and his hangout event coming up that helps to fill in why kaeya may be conflicted, as well as places in future regions that also helps to fill in missing information (again, no spoilers, but something to look forwards to). tl;dr: i love my little sadistic and conflicted goober, i hope he keeps popping up cause you know he generally loves to drop lore bombs, and everything he does later gets called back to when it drops in a future quest (kaeya's line about the sinners not being worth mentioning? heh. heheh. heheheheheheheh---). as a someone who was a kaeya main for a very long time (for 2 years lol), he def deserves a lot more attention cause he's just so vital and integral to the lore of this game... perhaps too vital and integral... but i love it.
For reasons probably similar to your own (wanting to figure it out myself and be surprised if I’m wrong at the reveal) I’ve never watched any theory videos about genshin before. Inevitably, being in the fandom for several years I’ve heard bits and pieces of popular theories anyway so I am familiar with what a lot of the fans think. Kaeya is a lot of fun to speculate about and I figured there wasnt much harm in watching your video since you’re only in Inazuma as of the recording. I’m really excited to watch your future reactions as you learn more about Kaeya, Khaenr’ia, Celestia, and how some of the Cataclysm actually went down. Im curious to see if/how much your opinion will eventually change about some of these things lol. This is a great video! I agree with your opinion about Kaeya probably going to the Angels Share so often because he wants to see Diluc more, and I’ve never heard anyone bring that up before. As for what I think about him, I agree that we cant fully trust everything he says or does, but I do genuinely believe he cares about the people closest to him, which counts for something!
11:38 ive wondered for a while if that mentality of putting such priority on his own entertainment only came after Diluc's disasterous birthday. I swear theres some mention of him having changed while Diluc was away, but even if i imagined that theres signs of SOME changes. That reaction to Crepus's death might have been the start of it, and he leaned into it more and more to cope with all that he lost that day. Or, alternatively he always felt that way, and maybe coped with the distance between himself and everyone else in this way here and there but mostly kept it under wraps while he had a family always around and paying him attention (both because he didnt need to worry so much about it with their love and because he wanted to pretend to be the normal person they believed him to be) but that moment he stopped hiding it. Either way, its really interesting to think of that line being a sign of what was to come
Kaeya COULD be the missing Fatui harbinger. Cryo vision, likes to fight, sabotages, ignores listed criminals, allows Fatui to roam inside the city walls, weakens the archons state, spies for an upper organisation, reports to the fallen nation of which two big leaders, Capitano and Pierro, are both high ranking officials or even the leaders of the Fatui. So in the end, is Diluc fighting the abyss because he now knows that Kaeya and the Fatui are not the same threat and have the abyss as their common enemy?
A great video! you really did you research and it’s very evident :)) but there’s something i have to clarify which is important but got lost in the translation. The part in kaeya’s story that states he’s a spy for khaenriah is actually a mistranslation. It’s stated that he is actually a ‘pawn’. Like ‘pawn, the chess piece’. So he’s not actually spying for khaenriah or is planning to. I can’t say for sure though. Because the meaning is very vague and goes all over the place with infinite possibilities. Hope you can better understand this choice of wording when you get to his hangout than me :)
Interesting... This gives me some ideas, which could still support my theory if it is left as vague as you say, however if we're talking about physical chess pieces that is QUITE something indeed. Especially considering how Gnosis are based off of chess pieces too. So many thoughts... but I'll definitely have to do his hangout to have a better idea. I originally wanted to do it before I made this video but wouldn't of had the time to complete it before his Bday. XD Anyways, thank you for the tid-bit.
@ it’s vague on his character story, though he gives meaning to it in his hangout in an interesting way! I don’t wanna spoil it, i just wanna add that it really is connected to whatever Genshin is trying to do with chess imagary and all. It’s definitely deliberate. You can play his hangout after the caribert quest! After You do the caribert quest, you’ll maybe wonder why it is relevant at all. Why can you unlock his hangout after THE caribert quest. He only has a short cameo in it, drops lore, then goes away. And the hangout doesn’t really have anything to do with that quest really. (Unless if you think deep about some lines) which, honestly, Makes it the more exciting to play lol.
HMMM I don't buy it. That can easily be disproven by saying it's just how the magic looks. Plus once in the hands of the Tsaritsa, she would probably know the difference, and Venti/Mondstadt would have gotten in shenanigans again, which it hasn't, for years since this event. :P Interesting idea, though. If they do end up going with that angle, I wouldn't be mad. It is cool.
What i dont understand is: what could Kaeya have said to Diluc to piss him off so hard? "I'm an agent of Khaenriah"? How much does Diluc know about Khaenriah? It would be like 500+ years gone by this point. And you yourself said that there aren't a lot of records left. So what opinion could Dliuc have had about Khaenriah to make him react so badly to Kaeya? Also, does he not know about Albedo? Or Dainsleif? (Also the "agent to Khaenriah" idea gets more complicated when it comes to Kaeya's hangout. Won't spoil it for you, but there's more there.) "I'm here to spy on Mondstadt" For who - a dead civilization? Why Mondstadt? What the hell were they expecting baby Kaeya to do? Aren't they both like 17 or something during this conversation? "I am actually from 500 years ago, i just got frozen in place with a Cryo regisvine like that one hunter dude"? Well this is more a crack theory but still
Albedo makes it pretty obvious his actual past isn't well known, there's no reason to expect Diluc knows anything beyond, "he showed up one day and Alice says he's cool." There's also no reason to think Diluc knows anything about Dainsleif beyond his drinking preference and maybe having some awareness of how Dain hunts the Abyss Order.
@anaplaysstuff so that means Diluc has even LESS of a frame of reference for Khaenriah. Hilichurls being Khaenrians isn't even public knowledge. We don't even know how well known the story of the Cataclysm is, or if other people even know what Khaenriah is beyond "it existed that one time". did he think Kaeya was some kind of time travelling zombie and got spooked or something?
@@CreatrixTiara You're not wrong. It did always feel weird that that was what set Diluc off. Though I suppose it could be more the idea that not only was Kaeya admitting to having been deceiving him for the entire time they'd known each other (when they were practically brothers and seem to have otherwise been very close) but that Kaeya decided to dump it on him while he was still feeling the trauma and grief of Crepus' death.
@CreatrixTiara Maybe not a native but he did lie about where he was from. Says it in his profile. Only person he ever told was Diluc, which is why they fought. People don't like getting lied to for years on end about who they are and original intenrions, ya know? Hard to trust someone after something like that. If I was Diluc, I'd be pissed too.
I can’t wait for this theory to fall apart the more you learn about Khaenriah and Kaeya. Great theory based on the info you have so far. But you’ve missed a lot. Though I will say this: the comics already disprove that Kaeya is a spy. At least if you’re willing to trust Diluc’s intuition, which I definitely do. Diluc continues to trust him, and does not doubt his loyalty to mondstadt. Even after he has told Diluc everything. In the comics, Kaeya is the one who brings Diluc’s vision back to him. So my stance is that Kaeya is still 100% loyal to mondstadt. It’s his home. Where everyone he cares about resides. Also there have been MANY events where Kaeya took part in that you’ve missed. Which characterize him better and explain his views on certain subjects and people. He doesn’t hate Venti. They’re good friends. Also drinking buddies with Rosaria. Also, check the vision on his Sumeru Event outfit.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! :D However, I think you're the one mistaken. 1. The comic does not confirm if he's still a spy or not. His relationship with Diluc would not determine this. He at the very least was a spy (found in his profile). Even if he's not at this VERY moment, he'll still struggle regardless in the future with his morals based on what Mona had said. I think he'll be more on the side of Mondstadt at that point, but that doesn't mean there won't be drama. If he was already 100% for Mondstadt a "choice" wouldn't even have to be considered. 2. Whether or not Kaeya played nice with Venti in other events doesn't discredit any of the evidence that I pulled up. Kaeya is a liar. The game even states that he rarely tells the truth throughout his profile. I have no reason to believe he'd suddenly be honest and kind to Venti when there's potentially so much more saying otherwise that isn't from his words. Seems you fell for his charm too. :P 3. Kaeya's alternate outfit was from a midsummer event, where he played a part in something fabricated for Klee by Alice (I've seen the version trailer). The vision looking normal on that outfit means nothing since this is most likely from Klee's imagination and she wouldn't know his true feelings towards Mondstadt. This is my thought process, but I'll learn more when I react to it someday. I like to take multiple perspectives into account and dive for deeper meanings rather than trusting what appears at surface level. Regardless, even if proven wrong in game, it'll be exciting and fun! I know there's a lot of Kaeya content and other Khaenri'ah stuff to come so I'm pretty pumped for it. 😃 Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and for watching!

@@lemon_bee5375 Thank you so much!
i'm glad i found your channel, your genshin lore content is very fun to watch :)
Welcome to here. :)
Loved it, please go on, there is never too much theories! Albedo would be lovely to hear of next.
He's surely one of the most requested thus far! No complaints here. He's a favorite of mine. :)
I love your analysis and theories its my favorite thing about your channel
Happy to hear. :)
Kaeya's hangout something something
You made some great inferences here thanks for sharimg
One day!
Thanks for watching
Either way, its really interesting to think of that line being a sign of what was to come
Ohhh this is going to be intresting 👀👀
Omg, the kaeya brainrot.
Him and Albedo had me on a chokehold cuz of the lore.
Albedo is one of my favorite characters so far... I'll definitely have to look more into him soon as well. 👀
Release on kaeya birthday.. Was that planned?
100%
It was a deadline I set for myself. :)
I started the game a year ago and have also been taking my time with it. All I can say is Sumeru. You're going to REALLY enjoy Sumeru.
After you finished the whole story of Genshin, you should watch the 'Kaeya is an angel/seelie' lore video. It is mind blowing.
I will try to keep this in mind. Thank you. 👍
Stupid sexy Kaeya!
Very good video =)
The "Sound-box" shown in the outtakes is kinda cool. Is it DIY?
It was something I bought online on the cheaper end. I used to have something else that was more DIY before it though. :)
the kaeya
I love this editing 😂
Thank you!
This video just reminds me of the ol days, back to when I started genshin around 2.3 (I think.) Feels like a time capsule.
I haven't finished watching just yet but I *know* you're gonna have a lot of fun doing more story, especially post-Inazuma archon quest.
@@12Redsky34 I'm sure I will. 😁
Youre so based for this
You're based for watching.
XD
Anyways, thank you for the tid-bit.
I wonder if there is a deeper meaning behind Kaeya's surname, such that he has parallels with the fictional character of the same name 🤔
From the research that I've done, yes, parallels can be made.
However, due to time constraints I didn't keep it in the video.
make sure to play close attention to the environment in sumeru
When I get there I will! :D
Yeah, it all comes back to Mondstadt. Lol.
Just like me between quests...
Mondstadt is forever home base. :)
Yippee!
:D!!!
Venti give a fake Gnosis , the animation of the anemo gnosis is the same as the illusion he made of the holy lyre when it got destroyed 😉
HMMM
I don't buy it. That can easily be disproven by saying it's just how the magic looks. Plus once in the hands of the Tsaritsa, she would probably know the difference, and Venti/Mondstadt would have gotten in shenanigans again, which it hasn't, for years since this event. :P
Interesting idea, though.
Won't spoil it for you, but there's more there.)
"I'm here to spy on Mondstadt" For who - a dead civilization?
@anaplaysstuff deceiving him HOW, though? Was he pretending to just be an abandoned Mondstadt native as a child?
@CreatrixTiara Maybe not a native but he did lie about where he was from. Says it in his profile. Only person he ever told was Diluc, which is why they fought.
People don't like getting lied to for years on end about who they are and original intenrions, ya know? Hard to trust someone after something like that. If I was Diluc, I'd be pissed too.
Interesting... 😊
Yes quite :)
However, I think you're the one mistaken.
Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts and for watching!
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
