Oh wow Dina, you made that brooch into the most beautiful necklace. I am so thrilled to see that!! Girl you have the gift!! So many amazing pieces IN COSTUME!! Plus the other buys. The Abalone piece looks like a Sajen piece. Look inside the bale. It looks like theirs. That stuff is very sought after. Of course I adore the Bench Beads with all those beautiful stones!! I could go on.

Melly, I am so in love with the brooch! So excited when she came in the mail. I immediately went to finding just the right chain for it! Can you believe the abalone TX piece only says 9925 in the bale? I am going to keep looking to make sure I do not miss any markings.

Hi! Did you test them? I am asking because I bought a lot of items at a thrift store that look like sterling silver and even they were marked 925, but guess what? After I tested them, they were not sterling. Also they were not magnetic, so I learned my lesson. Just to let you know that not all the items “hallmarked” and look like sterling are real sterling.

Hi Monika! I acid test all of my silver to confirm authenticity. I understand! I have been burned before myself. Marked 925 only to get it home and its costume. And most thrift stores won't let you return. I even asked a lady once of I could test a piece, ha! She said no of course, so I left it! A lot of my best finds are unmarked items. Since it's not marked, the thrift store will often times sell at costume price. Thank you for your comment. Some people do not know💕
