I was buying VC&A pieces before Facebook let alone Instagram, RUclips or TikTok were invented. But I just subscribed for the unapologetic Sassiness alone! 😂
True. One of her subscribers left a comment saying that she had no friends that actually can afford a real vca piece. That's why her subs didn't know the bracelet was a fake. It's also very weird that she seldom shows close up vca pieces. Anyway, she admitted that the bracelet was a fake but refused to disclose whether she knowingly bought it but as a collector, unless something that's discontinued, it's always safer to get it at the vca boutique.

Now, I don’t have anyone close to me that buys VCA but I still own seven pieces and have an endless wishlist lol, so the fact that she has ppl that can’t afford it or don’t buy VCA is not an indication of her buying fakes, but I do agree with Sibylla, she needed to be transparent though 😊

They said that she tried on the real one at the boutique and took a photo and wrote'I want to splurge', that led people to believe that she bought it on site. I completely agree and side with you regarding the drama. I thought you were in your right to make the first video and her response video felt dodgey and not genuine. I'm really glad you held your ground because you didn't say anything wrong. If it's a fake, it's a fake! Why give excuses and deflect.. She's bringing other topics into it to make it more your fault than it is hers
Yeah I think the video was dodgey too because apparently the necklace is real but that bracelet she could not find a receipt for and she never really defended it being real. It was very vague!

It will be, just shower with it from time to time or wash with a tooth brush, dishwashing soap, and hot water. If it's in yellow, it won't dull very much, rg, however, oxidizes to coppery.

So I didn't weigh in on the last video but I watched yours and hers a couple of times and now I'm convinced you're right. She has a fake, and I'm pretty sure she knew it too. I stopped being a fan of hers after she made some rude comments about people liking "basic" things (meanwhile she likes them too apparently since she owns them). Styled by Shishi's (her friend) husband is a convicted arsonist who actually burned some pets alive in his properties--all for insurance money. I see her and him as scum of the earth. I appreciate that you are passionate about fine jewelry since that's also an interest of mine (I have collected quite a number of pieces myself from VCA and Cartier), and there aren't many channels out there that focus solely on fine jewelry. The other ones may do a quick unboxing or a review of ONE item but generally they aren't collectors or really knowledgable about the brand the way you are. There is some talk on The Purse Forum about these videos and just wanted to let you know that there is talk about you there. I'm not sure how comfortable you feel about talking about your old RUclips videos/IG account. In any case, I am still really enjoying your videos Sibylla.

Love the Frivole necklace. For a first VCA piece however, I’m looking to get an Alhambra pendant. I’ve been leaning towards Carnelian. The JUC ring I will most likely get for my birthday in January. I agree about Trinity collection. It’s been way under the radar for years which I loved. Got a few pieces. Also agree with the Love cuff as opposed to the original bangle. It’s such a classic easy piece to wear. I don’t take mine off. My Love ring would be in my capsule collection too.

I love your knowledge of the brand and I have fallen in love with the brand lately. I have picked up a few pieces last year and this year and I visited the boutique with my Mother Of Pearl necklace for the chain to be extended, the Advisor ignored my receipt and took her little magnifying glass and found all the information on who purchased, when, etc., ☺, so you are absolutely correct. Well, not really. My husband is a bit of a hoarder. He struggles to find receipts and tax returns 😂😂🤣. I do think it is strange that if her jewelry is from VCA, she has never taken it to the store for a cleaning or so, that is how you know if it is real. The first thing that sales associates do before they take your jewelry for cleaning is to make sure is real. Maybe VCA jewelry does not require professional cleaning like white gold and diamonds? 🤷♀️

Anything in hammered gold can be run over by a train, but it gets a little dull overtime (my first vintage pendant was in hammered yellow gold, that I've sold and regret already), or any guilloche piece, but it scratches (better a necklace, because a bracelet will become scratched and you might not like that). I'd go for hammered gold in vintage size :)

Love your videos and VCA expertise! I happen to be a long time subscriber of style hard and was surprised this drama involved you. She was honest years ago about fake chopard heart earrings. So she does sprinkle in some fakes with her authentic pieces. She made a big deal about you calling her out instead of being humble. Putting her husband on blast and then in the end not showing proof made it seem even more fake.
I want the Cartier hoops but my earring holes are a bit stretched out and if it’s not a push in earring with backing then they droop. Is there anyway to wear them that it wouldn’t do that?
She never confirmed and she never said and why keep the seller a secret, if it’s a reseller than I am sure they would want more business “if” it’s authentic. As much time as she spent looking for the receipts for the magic necklaces, when the bracelet was in question. Why not call the seller to provide a copy or the paperwork “he” got when he bought it. Why throw your husband under the bus?
I like Stylehard watched her for years but I too think it’s a fake. Whether she knew it was a fake or not is up in the air. Something is off though she is friends with Stylebyshishi who is full of scandals and that made me question her and now a fake? 🤔 I also agree that putting her husband on the spot was totally unnecessary and wrong. Make the video after you resolve the issue. If he bought it second hand it could be a fake and it’s totally believable he wouldn’t know as I doubt he is an expert on VCA. Superfakes are a thing and many influencers have admitted to being duped. Anyways loving this content especially what you said about a statement ring! Such a good idea for “running out of the house but wanna look classy” vibe.
The problem is I don't even believe that she actually got duped, because if she did that is easy to share. Share the reseller and put them on blast, let people know who sold you a fake. She can even express this without giving their name out. Many influencers that have been duped can explain exactly how it happened. Its sad, but I believe she knew it was fake.
You did nothing wrong. The worst part of the style hard video was how defensive she was and how she put her husband on blast going thru his boxes of recepits😂 that was awkward and staged. Everyone who buys expensive things knows now days to catalogue your receipts for insurance and resale purposes! It was equally insulting her video taping him in his sox in such "distress"😂
Im a VCA lover, did purchase VCA jewelry for years ONLY from boutique. Im nobody but LOVE authentic pieces. I will not feeling the same enjoyment of luxury creations if i dont know where it’s from and sure if it’s authentic or not. She should not blame on her husband bought the fake bracelet and she didn’t know. She runs her chanel showing up all her jewelry that she proud of and educated people by using her fake bracelet. Her VCA bracelet is fake for sure and her personality is super FAKE as well.
Hi, can you suggest a necklace which is not van cleef and not just a basic diamond on a chain? I already have vintage Alhambra but I feel it’s too much for every day, and I find those diamond necklaces too plain. I would like something in the middle.
haha I will suggest a van cleef one, take look at Perlée couleurs pendant they also have a diamond version, but I like it in malachite, the chain is very sparkly like vintage :)

Love your videos and VCA expertise! I happen to be a long time subscriber of style hard and was surprised this drama involved you. She was honest years ago about fake chopard heart earrings. So she does sprinkle in some fakes with her authentic pieces. She made a big deal about you calling her out instead of being humble. Putting her husband on blast and then in the end not showing proof made it seem even more fake.

I want the Cartier hoops but my earring holes are a bit stretched out and if it’s not a push in earring with backing then they droop. Is there anyway to wear them that it wouldn’t do that?
Maybe wear additional clear silicone backing before fastening them, or ask cartier to send them out to make the space for the lobe tighter.

She never confirmed and she never said and why keep the seller a secret, if it’s a reseller than I am sure they would want more business “if” it’s authentic. As much time as she spent looking for the receipts for the magic necklaces, when the bracelet was in question. Why not call the seller to provide a copy or the paperwork “he” got when he bought it. Why throw your husband under the bus?

I like Stylehard watched her for years but I too think it’s a fake. Whether she knew it was a fake or not is up in the air. Something is off though she is friends with Stylebyshishi who is full of scandals and that made me question her and now a fake? 🤔
I also agree that putting her husband on the spot was totally unnecessary and wrong. Make the video after you resolve the issue. If he bought it second hand it could be a fake and it’s totally believable he wouldn’t know as I doubt he is an expert on VCA. Superfakes are a thing and many influencers have admitted to being duped.

The problem is I don't even believe that she actually got duped, because if she did that is easy to share. Share the reseller and put them on blast, let people know who sold you a fake. She can even express this without giving their name out. Many influencers that have been duped can explain exactly how it happened. Its sad, but I believe she knew it was fake.

Im a VCA lover, did purchase VCA jewelry for years ONLY from boutique. Im nobody but LOVE authentic pieces. I will not feeling the same enjoyment of luxury creations if i dont know where it’s from and sure if it’s authentic or not. She should not blame on her husband bought the fake bracelet and she didn’t know. She runs her chanel showing up all her jewelry that she proud of and educated people by using her fake bracelet. Her VCA bracelet is fake for sure and her personality is super FAKE as well.
