But damn in his latest drama, Itaewon Class he truly showed his true potential as an actor like he gave everything that he had as an actor to give life to his character who had the worst past of losing his only family and other effed up problems. He portrayed that character really well as if he experienced it himself due to the realistic acting during the scenes. Watching him made my heart ache so much even though i haven't experienced his character's unfortunate past but it also made me respect him even more aside from his previous dramas. Kudos to Park Seojoon and also Park Minyoung for showing us great chemistry and giving this drama life from the webtoon ❤
I agree that his acting skills were really great but Itaewon Class for me was a disappointment as a whole, esp the romance part. It would've been better if there wasn't any romance at all, or if they developed the yiseo-saeroyi loveline earlier in the drama instead of forcing it in the last 2 eps

Lin Yanjun's eyebrows For me it’s good enough, it’s not really a fully romance-focused drama in the first place. It really make sense for me that after years of working and being together, he eventually fell for her, no point prolonging the romance at the end because we already know what kind of character yiseo and saeroy is. I wouldn’t like it to put the romance at the beginning either since the early episodes they’re focusing on the main story, which is also the main reason why I think this drama is one of the best I’ve watched ever. Just my opinion

What makes it such a controversial drama is that It talks about reality such as corruption, racism, transgender/lgbtq+, etc. Since it focuses on that, i think the romance part is just a bonus in saeroyi's life since his was so shitty from the beginning and there must be at least one good thing about it to keep him from going insane. But that's just my take from the drama 😊
