I have this car, in EU. I have owned the competition, no more going back. It is stunning, rare and turns heads. Mileage could be better but performance is more than you need on a daily basis.
Here in Canada we don't have a T5 AWD. The T5 is only FWD and only momentum. AWD is the T6 over all trim. Unfortunately that means only Premium Fuel and with the prices today. In Australia the infotainment may be great, in Canada on a cold winter morning not so much. I wish this model was available here.
Why would you want to forget the old Volvo's of the past ? Safest cars in the world. And a world touring car champion. Best selling wagon world wide in the 90's. I don't get that comment?
I have the T8 (American spec) and while it may be more powerful, honestly, I don't care. I'm getting 72.2 miles per gallon and on track for a little over 1000 miles on a tank of gas. The little electric motor is plenty for cruising around town or a dreaded commute. Charge it up each night and you could probably get to work and back without turning the engine on. Also, go with the 18in wheels. It's not as sporty, but the ride is significantly more comfortable.
I almost always drive with high heels, when I brake and clutch, the heels in the floor take on some cars, and you have to bend the ankle quite a bit to push down. how do you experience driving many different cars? drive most Mercedes, and I think it is easy to drive.
Very good review Simone👍🏻 I’ve always loved Volvo. Some years ago when my kids were toddlers I bought an OLD GL740 wagon! Fantastic bloody car. Amazing what a set of mags, window tine & lowering springs did🤭 Cavernous & safe. Yeah I copped all the jokes but it was about my kids. I almost bought a V60 2 years ago but went with a Skoda Superb 206 wagon! Honestly it was hard to beat at the time. Cheers
@@mlee6136 I realize that, the thing is, typos are more common in this age of spellcheck and other nannies, but the phenomenon still exists. Obviously there isn't "car" oriented people in the production/editing aspect of these inter-web and other Vlog type shows. :-(
I love this car. It’s clean, great minimalist design. MB and Audi are becoming too gaudy w lights and buttons. BMW is still better but this is close to it. And that speaker system is insane.
thinking about such a car for my wife, because she almost always uses heels (10 cm) so it must be able to run in heels (do not want to change shoes every time she should run), have you tried with heels ?, she has a Mercedes today, and it is easy to run in heels.
In the old days, husbands who made 'a lot' with wives at home, brought their kids to ballet in a Volvo with HUGE bumper bars. Such were the days. Parking by bumping. Husbands bought elsewhere.
R-Design is not minimalistic. Bling Bling, big wheels, body kit etc. and not perfect for a Volvo, R-Design is hard and uncomfortable and not sporty. Take Momentum or Inscription and you get what a Volvo makes special. I agree, no one needs more power. I disagree with the fell of the materials. Most ist perfect but too much plastic, look at the back side of the front seets and some other points. But it looks so nice. And if you do not want the B&W Sound Systems, never test it :) you will love it an buy it :)
Clearly, this channel has many attractive auto journalists, but they also do very comprehensive well-edited videos. Keep it up yall!

Quality and fair review. Glad I found the channel! Probably picking up a T6 Momentum soon with the premium and advanced package

greatest car of the segment
You mentioned 1.0 L at the beginning, check the text as its incorrect.
It's a 2L

Her or the car? I'm confused
what‘s the background music around 2:00 ?
Love that cherry red. 😍 I would buy one - T8 hybrid - with identical exterior ... but with brown leather interior. 😉
Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous... the car is really nice too.
Naughty.... Lol
@NAN no more 5 cylinder either that was sold in America in the s60 v60. Big mistake

Nice car! Picking up a T5 R design MY2019 next friday. Can't wait :)
Waiting for a 19 R myself...🤞for Saturday...hope your loving yours! Cheers 🍻

Too bad they can't get the correct info in the spec box :-( She clearly says 2.0L 4 pot but spec box says 1.0L
05gtdriver obviously a typo mate, you don’t get 257bhp from a 1.0L engine.......

3:09 192 KW produced by a 1.0L petrol engine, seriously?
Editors slip 🙄
@@cartelltv S**t happens! 🤬
Is that bad?
@@nicolejohansson3826 Not really, but the channel may loose credibility...
Great review
No more V6?
Volvos haven't had 6's for years now. And they were inline 6s when they had them.
Can’t get over the previously Roundish shape of the S60.
T8 more sporty?? No miss... Only straight line performance. With the batteries it is to heavy for fast curves......
Dude, just try it. It flies
In before the pervy comments woohoo!
hell yeah shes flaunting that rear end....

wireless android auto?
Yes like it
gorgeous
It was hard to focus on the car with this stunning presenter
She ruined it for me by having the same name as my sister.
Another interesting luxury car...But its sad in my country only the very rich can buy it.
I’ve been hearing how the “new Volvo’s are nothing like the old” since about 1991.
850's are great cars.
Mark Johnston I think that goes for every brand
The prices between s60 and s90 are so similar that if I could afford s60 I would most probably buy an s90...
Ernests Auzins I think it’s fair to say though the S60 handles better because of its weight.
She is gorgeous.
In the old days, husbands who made 'a lot' with wives at home, brought their kids to ballet in a Volvo with HUGE bumper bars. Such were the days. Parking by bumping. Husbands bought elsewhere.
Don’t really care for the car, this lady is easy on eyes and ears.
I’d go for this S60 or the Giulia over the germans purely because having a German car is common and not special anymore.
Exactly....I have only seen one on the road.
i like the car...until that C-pillar. So stodgy and not in keeping with the rest of the car. Sorry to disagree Simone!
The only thing I don't like about new volvo, are the Chinese acquired them.

yeah yeah yeah.... show me the Electric version!
Diesel would be even better.
just wow.....😁
Nice car, looks just like a Honda Accord.
Thanks for your video!
Stuff SUV's.. I can't stand those cars. So dam ugly IMO.
agree 100%!
Schönes Auto , schöne Frau passt 👍👍
Volvo S60. Nice car with expensive servicing, owned by Chinese company Geely. Given the current political climate, should we consider alternatives.
My V60 cost less to service, than my previous Toyotas....🙄
the car looks good i like the shape.. but Simone how could i have forgotten how beautiful u are 😌💕.. shame on me 😏
It's "executive" lmao.
God bless them 🌍🏡👪🌈🌍
you like hard steering wheel.....that's my gril. :))
it has a bunchof kiloooowatts ( stupid english accent)..... silly mofos.. lmao
