Honestly I not excited that the case hasn't been resolved yet I would have liked to have seen season 2 with Aaron as a free man combating more injustices as a successful public lawyer
Now it just seems that they are going to continue to add more twists to the story like how in the world is he going to let maskins put his wife in jail he could never be that selfish also this show is pretty realistic to what African Americans have to endured in America I honestly dont want to see Aaron character become more emotionally abused
From what I read, That wasn’t his reality. He got out of prison but they held him from practicing for years. It took him 7 years to even get out if I’m not mistaken. This is an expedited version. He works as a lawyer now but it took time to get there.

I feel like Maskins must be hiding more evidence to be threatening aaron like this. He’s laying out all his cards to intimidate him, but there’s probably other violations in previous cases that can be held against him in the next season.
Siaam Sarker yes. I totally agree and i don’t think he is going to accept the deal because he know he is dirty. Even this meetup is proof of blackmail or trying to threaten him and can use it as evidence. I believe the lady warden is also going tot do something to help.

Glen Maskins is a coward. Despite having achieved a high position, he obviously has a few skeletons in his closet that he doesn’t want the public to know about. If he had nothing to hide, nothing to fear, he wouldn’t be threatening Wallace like that. I look forward to the retrial, and I’m hoping Wallace gets exonerated for drug possession, and over the course of the season, Maskins’s repeated attempts to bring him down backfire on himself

Well, this show is based on real life events, so if it goes by that, then Maskins will definitely have this backfire on himself.

Love this show. It’s way more interesting than A Million Little Things which was renewed for another season. This show is nonstop excitement and keeps you wanting more. Not one show was boring or exhausting. Some ABC shows are just that. Please bring this show back. Appeal to all your audiences ABC. So tired of the same old same old. Good Doctor/ Greys Anatomy; Mixedish/Blackish; Housewife/The Conners/The Goldbergs; Station 19/The Rookie/Stumptown....Nothing compares to For Life.
Aaron Wallace made the right decision denying Maskin's plea bargain. I cannot wait to see Maskin's defeat.

They say this show ratings were low. I beg to differ. This was a great show. I really believe it was the image of a black man make his way through a system that is not favorable to him. Showing how the system of America is systematically racist. It was too powerful that it may literally cause a rise of black men inspired. Being that the show was inspired by the life of an actual inmate.
They need to put this series on DVD

What an awesome show. Just got done watching it all on Hulu. Damn shame that it didn't get Season 3. Once again, tv destroys excellence in programming for some reality or insipid series about nothing.

There is a lot of people in jail in a sentence just because of bad cop and politician
Wallace will eventually make maskins pay but that'll probably be 4 or 5 seasons later. With maskins in that much power, Wallace's family is about to be broken down starting with his wife. Aaron will be required to be selfish in this regard to take out this unfair prosecution system then save his wife after.

Why is his transfer delayed due to Cyrus ending the lockdown?
Siaam Sarker because they’re trying to say he’s a rat , with them being out of lockdown the inmates can kill him if they push that rat narrative. Smh!! Basically more blackmail and corruption 🙄
I think the transfer was supposed to occur before the lockdown ended but they ended the lockdown early and delayed the transfer so Aaron can get murdered. It's extra pressure for him to take the deal. If he takes the deal he can be free and not at risk of murder.

Thanseer I get it but unfortunately that’s not really true. They got through a lot with just one season. In reality, he worked as a paralegal while in jail and it took him 7 years to get to the point where we see him. They kept him from practicing for many years after his release.
@@amberhicks2765 I am on ur side. I think the pacing of this show is good. They've established the main characters and in Season 2 they can get to the meat and potatoes of it all.
