“For Life” is a fictional serialized legal and family drama inspired by the life of Isaac Wright, Jr. about a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn't commit. His quest for freedom is driven by his desperate desire to get back to the family he loves and reclaim the life that was stolen from him. The show will also, through the window of his ferocious struggle and his complicated relationship with a progressive female prison warden, examine the flaws and challenges in our penal and legal systems.
I just watched it today on Hulu and it is an extremely extremely well done show that everyone should watch!

Just finished episode 12. Phenomenal show!!! Its been a long time since I've seen an entire season that had me at the edge of my seat. If you're not watching this show.... you're missing out.

50 is as focused or moreso than Jay and his contemporaries. What he realizes is that the $$$ is not that important after a few millions or even billions. It's the leverage and (pardon the pun) power that is more important. There are folks like Oprah with a worth near $3 billion that obviously are puppets who don't care about the people.
50 Cent with Isaac Wright jr. and this show For Life is actully effecting change and people lives. 50 and Courtney Abloh Kemp's work with Power shifted the TV landscape and built a network, Starz. The true 'power' and leverage 50 is creating in the entertainment business and real word is more valuable than being on the Forbes Top Entertainers or having mo' $$$ than Puff, Jay, Dre, etc.
@joek money actually 50 gave the idea of power he came to Courtney not the other way around just like the oath and for life 50 is picking which director he wants and cast 50 talk about this show for years before it was even a director secondly did u hear Isaac said he sat with 50 first he knew 50 was going to turn it into a tv show now Isaac wanted it to be a movie but 50 got him to do a tv show version
For life is a brilliant, brilliant show. Another gem, well done 50 and crew!

@Tht hh, Isaac Wright Jr. became a lawyer; clearly he is an intelligent exceptional man who did this on his own, having only H.S. Diploma and serving a life sentence for a crime he know he did not commit.

I am so late & all I can say is job well done!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I watched all the episodes from S1 & S2 in like 3 days; I’m a person who loves movies inspired by real events & documentaries. Isaac proved them wrong & that took more than guts, God had a purpose to fulfill thru Isaac that no one else could do! Awesome awesome show!!!

Isaac Wright Jr. with only a H.S. Diploma, serving a life sentence for a crime he DID NOT COMMIT; had the strength and courage to study, become a LAWYER, fight for himself and other inmates. I pray that 50 Cent, Curtis Jackson makes sure that Mr. Wright is PAID for his story and not ripped off by production company, which happens to people who allow their stories to be told, then LOOSE the ability to get royalties, once the show becomes released etc.

I'm sure Mr Wright is smart enough to not allow anyone to rip him off.
He was a businessman before he went to jail. He got a life sentence defended other and himself in the SAME court that locked him up. There shouldn’t even be an atom of a thought or hope that he’d allow anyone to “rip him off”

I am so glad that they brought this program to life I finally had the opportunity to see it this week when he had the client who was a white supremacist I thought the movie was great well thought-out well written, great actors and actresses playin the Rolls.
