Yeah personally seeing the Raiden Shogun and finally being able to get a playable Ayaka, a character I was hyped for since I saw her beta footage... It was such a memorable update for me.
Let's be honest, 3.0 trailer was nowhere near as hype as 2.0 trailer. The Raiden Shogun reveal had such a gravity that I don't think any other archon will have. But I really hope I'm wrong 💀

I’m still head banging to the part in 1.1 where Childe and Zhongli are announced. This album is literally the history of Genshin before 3.0 and the nostalgia is real. I can’t believe 2 years has passed since I started playing. Never did I think I’d stick with this game for so long and not miss a single login or daily, and I don’t regret any of it.

Details I’ve noticed in the music that might not be obvious (UPDATING) 1.1 - 0:38, There’s a synth that follows the notes of the guitar for a short bit 1.3 - In the beginning, the piano notes have a reverse sound effect 1.5 - there’s a synth or bass in the beginning of the trailer and there’s a guitar playing quieter than the strings when Eula is fighting 2.0 - 19:31 - Forgive me for not knowing the name but a single Japanese flute note can be heard. When Ayaka shows up, there’s strings that play in a lower octave and play the same sequence over and over until Yomiya shows up. It may be a little hard to hear with the beat, but when Yomiya shows up, there is a guitar playing with the strings. 22:11, there’s a piano or something that sounds like a piano playing a single note repeatedly 2.1 - There’s another flute in Kokomi’s theme that plays a few notes repeatedly along with her main motif 2.2 26:09 there’s a synth in the background! 2.3 27:54 - There’s a koto in the background. 29:07 EXTREMELY HARD TO HEAR. There’s a low octave piano note! 2.4 After Yunjin’s showcase, there’s a synth in the background 2.5 33:33 There’s a warm ambient pad. 34:29 There’s a synthesized Koto along with another synth playing a small note. The synthesized Koto that plays until Raiden looks at the moon. Raiden’s part has a male chair singing while she is in her new form 2.6 At the climax of the chasm part, you can hear a clock noise 2.7 - There’s a guitar playing behind Yelan’s theme and it even follows the piano notes!

The Chalk Prince and the Dragon still stands as the best trailer theme for me, the music just gives me so much hype and the whole update was just so amazing and kept me from dropping the game at that time, and i haven't regretted playing it ever since.

out of all of these, 3:44 is the most special to me. everyone is saying "no one is talking about x timestamp" but legitimately no one is talking about this song and it's my one of my favorite genshin osts ever. hearing the beginning's calm, almost melancholy piano plus the strings hits me with a wave of almost indescribable emotions. from nostalgia of one of the first major events in genshin to genuine sadness and lament for aether. then when the beginning piano turns into a more solemn sound at the end where they usually put the mini events for the update is just an amazing touch and has been the most memorable theme to me from the earliest updates. Yu-Peng Chen and the hoyo-mix team are amazing for being capable of carrying so much emotion in just those few notes, it's just that great :')
2.4’s trailer music is such a banger to me, it just sounds so inspiring and I’ve definitely been looking forward to its official release. Thank HYV that it’s finally here!

All these, just bringing back so many memories. Dragonspine released somewhere in Decemeber with me getting sucrose on the first morning of 2021, Lantern rite having such pretty cutscenes, Chonkdaha, Golden Apple with the soothing osts, getting Inazuma released, learning that theres 3 Albedos, 2.4 made me tear with the Yun Jin cutscene and making me love Liyue even more, Irodori festival, the whole quest with Yelan, and GAA making its appearance once again. All these in just 2 years making Genshin my favourite game.
Floating World under the Moonlight is simply epic. Greeted by Watatsumi, Shocked by Signora (yep), fascinated by Kokomi, and looking at awe to Raiden Shogun. Just wow Also, liyue's theme during Lunar new year just transitioned from a somber (1.3) to cheerful (2.4) one in its second iteration. Maybe something to do with jade chamber lol

I don't know why but a lot of character theme motifs I prefer here more that their actual demos, they're so short but they sound so COOOL. All the versions music are beautiful, but... 10:32 Beneath the Light of Jadeite, is one of my favourite trailer tunes. Both parts are so nostalgic for me. Especially the intro tune of the housing system is so peaceful. 29:59 Fleeting Colours in Flight, both halves. I couldn't stop listening and still can't. Both parts on the trailer are just... unimaginably Amazing!
The way that I can just go through the timestamps everyone's commented and they're different for the most part is a testament to how beautiful the trailer music is. 22:49 is my favorite part, I remember listening to this trailee so many times just to hear the transition from watatsumi theme to signora's because the way it just gets more and more somber is so beautiful

bruh like A New Star Approaches is already a damn fine masterpiece on the trailer version with all the voices but hearing JUST the ost version and u get to hear tiny details like on 0:57 and that rendition of Osial's Theme like //goosebumps Never forgetting the hype i felt when 0:37 starts and Tartaglia appeared. "I am least adept with a bow and that is precisely why I must master it." BAM instantly in love, never looked back ever since.
25:54 gives me chills, even now (it's currently a year and about 4.5 months after the trailer was posted.) there's something very special about hearing the sudden transition from light, woodwind and orchestral strings into one of the hardest electric guitar lines i've ever heard, childe's motif. it features heavily in both his demo and his segment in the 1.1 trailer, which was about a year before this one, and we'd hardly seen him since. and now, boom, he's back! makes me smile :]

1.1 - 0:38, There’s a synth that follows the notes of the guitar for a short bit
1.3 - In the beginning, the piano notes have a reverse sound effect
1.5 - there’s a synth or bass in the beginning of the trailer and there’s a guitar playing quieter than the strings when Eula is fighting
2.0 - 19:31 - Forgive me for not knowing the name but a single Japanese flute note can be heard. When Ayaka shows up, there’s strings that play in a lower octave and play the same sequence over and over until Yomiya shows up. It may be a little hard to hear with the beat, but when Yomiya shows up, there is a guitar playing with the strings. 22:11, there’s a piano or something that sounds like a piano playing a single note repeatedly
2.1 - There’s another flute in Kokomi’s theme that plays a few notes repeatedly along with her main motif
2.2 26:09 there’s a synth in the background!
2.3 27:54 - There’s a koto in the background. 29:07 EXTREMELY HARD TO HEAR. There’s a low octave piano note!

This music is always so catchy, it literally never misses. I can't believe a game that's totally free is putting so much awesome effort into all its tracks! It's really awesome.

1:58 The crescendo that starts here with the stuttering synth and strings gave me chills. And then the Albedo and Ganyu reveal right after. What a moment. Back before we had stuff like leaks and drip marketing. I knew I had to get Ganyu back then. Now I have her at C6. Can't believe this game is 2 years old now.

The Chalk Prince and the Dragon still stands as the best trailer theme for me, the music just gives me so much hype and the whole update was just so amazing and kept me from dropping the game at that time, and i haven't regretted playing it ever since.

I remember listening to the 2.1 trailer on repeat just so I could hear Kokomi’s theme 😭 it’s still so amazing and nostalgic
out of all of these, 3:44 is the most special to me. everyone is saying "no one is talking about x timestamp" but legitimately no one is talking about this song and it's my one of my favorite genshin osts ever. hearing the beginning's calm, almost melancholy piano plus the strings hits me with a wave of almost indescribable emotions. from nostalgia of one of the first major events in genshin to genuine sadness and lament for aether. then when the beginning piano turns into a more solemn sound at the end where they usually put the mini events for the update is just an amazing touch and has been the most memorable theme to me from the earliest updates. Yu-Peng Chen and the hoyo-mix team are amazing for being capable of carrying so much emotion in just those few notes, it's just that great :')

All these, just bringing back so many memories. Dragonspine released somewhere in Decemeber with me getting sucrose on the first morning of 2021, Lantern rite having such pretty cutscenes, Chonkdaha, Golden Apple with the soothing osts, getting Inazuma released, learning that theres 3 Albedos, 2.4 made me tear with the Yun Jin cutscene and making me love Liyue even more, Irodori festival, the whole quest with Yelan, and GAA making its appearance once again. All these in just 2 years making Genshin my favourite game.

25:54 gives me chills, even now (it's currently a year and about 4.5 months after the trailer was posted.) there's something very special about hearing the sudden transition from light, woodwind and orchestral strings into one of the hardest electric guitar lines i've ever heard, childe's motif. it features heavily in both his demo and his segment in the 1.1 trailer, which was about a year before this one, and we'd hardly seen him since. and now, boom, he's back! makes me smile :]
