I love how you don't sugar coat it Caroline.. Your no bs honesty helps me to be more honest w myself and you've helped me / plenty of us.. no doubt.. so much in this last crazy year
This explains the difficulty I've had with family ~where is home~ there was family abandoning family by age 13 ~ i was blessed b4 this by this family with a knowing of the traditions & an anchor of this knowing of good solid family & community
Then the rug was pulled ot with death of gramma & the tapestry of this solid foundation seemed to begin to unravel as vel t b e the golden thread which held our family together then my mom passed on suddenly at moms age of 37 my age 16 & my brother & i now orphaned by all of them ~
I then struggled thru age 30 ~ 40 with kids of my own not knowing where I belonged who was real~ traditions & values of good foundation where how do I know • I'm so grateful for you Caroline helping me with all i learned thru my Soul finding myself thru the wake of mistakes of family & my mistaken beliefs fears & harmful mistakes through 34 more more years find it now in my 60's
You are a great big huge Angel in my life Soul integrity of the bark of my Soul Tree.

I can always tell when we are about to get a gem that's worth remembering, repeating and writing down. Word cadence picks up, passion level rises, and then... BAM! My soul food ... I’ve decided to stop coodoling the “wounded” ill be compassionate but I won’t stroke anyone’s ego. My father passed and we hadn’t spoken for 2 years .. it still saddens me now. Forgiveness to myself and to him is the only path. We can’t take back the past but we can always heal 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻

I really love all of your books.
I have relentlessly punished myself for being wounded and I cannot relate at all to using my would to punish others. Mostly I avoid relationships ... mostly, I have been a coward of allowing others in. This idea that I want to hurt others ... what is THAT? Is that how YOU feel when you’re insecure in root chakra?

Thank you for the explanation of "habitus maximus" and roots. It is clear to me but I just lost mr father and my only 2 nieces who are both over 40 had not seen nor spoken to him fpr over 2 yrs ( in the past yr for obvious reason due to pandemic). They did attend the funeral though. I found it confusing how they were able to "ignore" him. Is parenting style to be blamed? Not sure how to view their actions.
