Britney wrote over 70 songs and composed the ballad Everytime on piano. Britney came up with her best video concepts. Stop writing shit. As a performer/and dancer what Britney achieved and showcased between 1999-2004 is incomparable to any other music star of recent times. None of the women artists since Britney can compete with her peak, dance/ performing skils and icon level.Britney has inspired a whole generation of artists including Gaga. Beyonce also has been inspired by Britney, to not say she stole...but she never gave her the credit for that.

Definitely Beyoncé if you want a performance and someone who can sing live and dance at same time
Top choice: Lady Gaga - will go further than anyone else in terms of limits, still has insanely good vocals, can do literally any genre, she always does a piano segment and isn't afraid to just jump into the crowd or even show us her flaws - her embrace of flaes makes her performance even better.
Very close 2nd: Beyonce knows how to put on a show like nobody else and is a vocalisstt but at the same time I feel she's too perfectionist sometimes to feel truly organic.
3rd: Bruno Mars - such high energy, when he drums it is everything and he puts on a show in a Beyonce-like way, it's just she's on another level.
4th: Britney Spears - puts on a fantastic show but she doesn't sing live. The other 3 don't just sing live but they do it sooo fucking well. Gaga & Beyonce's voices really are the cream of the crop.

I give to Gaga the credit she deserves for the artistic skills she has, but as performer she is not on the same level with Britney, at least on their prime. As a dancer, Gaga is awful, i been wacthed some of her shows when she tried to push the level further than she is capable and she almost broke her neck falling from the stage. I will never forgive Gaga for literally robbing Britney, stealing her credit for being the first female artist to change the sound of music in new era by bringing dubstep into the mainstream.Gaga's Monster Fame’ album is heavily influenced and based on ‘Blackout’. You can see elements of ‘Blackout’ in ‘The Fame’ and even the song ‘LoveGame’ when it was first released was considered by many as a Britney song.‘
Gaga did the same with Madonna, she plagiarized one of her talbums, but unlike Britney, Madonna defended her position by exposing her as a scam. For the little monster who tries to shade Britney left and right they should know that Britney's PEAK was bigger, more consistent and longer lasting than Gaga and this happend before the internet became a super-power for newcomer artists. For those of you who are too young to remember, Britney had the iconic allure of Gaga, the teen mania that surrounds Justin Bieber and the mainstream appeal and sexiness of Rihanna. She was quite simply the perfect pop star. And it's not like she's some has-been on the second decade of century either, in 2012, Forbes named her the highest paid woman in music..she also scored the second highest residency on Las Vegas of all time.

Britney performs brilliantly and Lady Gaga pays tribute to Britney all the time, she constantly talks about how she loves her but if I wanted to see someone perform LIVE these days, I'd go and watch an artist that sings live, simple as that. I've never shaded Britney & I never said she wasn't spectacular at her peak. We all know she still puts on a killer show but that she doesn't sing live and live vocals, for me, is a key element to why I would see a singer perform live. No hate, I love Britney.
