Thank you for posting this, as soon as I heard him say it wrong I ran to the comments to correct it. I hate the aggies but I love that dog. All Dog mascots are cool in my book.
I'm biased with two brothers that played for South Carolina and Arkansas respectively. So I rank those two pretty high. But personal favorite? Florida. That Gator logo is just perfection.
If I recall correctly In 2010, the year Auburn won the National Championship, the Auburn Tigers had soft pretzel’s in the shape of the school emblem at every home game.
As much as I love that banner “M-State”, that is no longer Mississippi State’s official logo. Please don’t judge us based on that logo. The university still uses it, but the athletic logo is the “script State”.
When I look up primary logos I search for the team on Wikipedia and confirm on the conference’s website that particular primary logo. As of now the MSU Football Wikipedia page and the SEC conference website use the M + State Banner logo which is a miss if the actual athletic logo is the State script as you say. That logo is much more interesting and better suited in my opinion
I want to add for the LSU logo: the previous Tiger logo (known by some fans as Toonces) was pretty widely disliked by LSU fans. Thus, I was very happy to see it go. But I do agree they need to lean into the Tiger again. They have a perfect Tiger logo that they use all the time, including on the football helmets. That should be the primary logo. If they wanted to keep lettering, just use the lettering on the helmets. (Also, minor nitpick, I've always hated the modern LSU logo because to me, the "U" looks backwards. If you're going to have a straight side on a U, it would be on the right side, not the left side).
As a LSU fan that’s certainly is not our logo… take a look at our football helmets, our #1 logo the head of the tiger with LSU on top… Take a look at our baseball cap number two logo… The LSU letters kinda of generic and basic, used like a side of the court or on the basketball uniforms. It’s a totally basic logo, Not our Main Logo. To be honest, Cody football, baseball, and basketball all have totally different logos. You should do one for each sport to be fair.
Once again, agreed with your top choice. OU - I just don’t see how this is iconic. It’s as boring as the Nebraska “N”. Also, I don’t understand how this one is revered but UK was labeled as boring. Maybe if they threw a cowboy hat on the “O” or something like that. Georgia - it’s odd that you rated Grambling comparatively lower, especially with all the fantastic logos in the SEC. SC - For such a cool mascot it’s a disappointing logo. The block “C” is awkward and unappealing, and the gamecock is scaled down so small that it’s just a busy, abstract shape.
Yea, actually, the OU is stacked that way because it representing a cattle branding iron, considering Oklahoma is the # 2, cattle production State in the USA, in 2024, consistently 2,3, or 4 since 1986. Other collage team with cattle brand logo's, Okie State OSU, Kansas KU, Nebraska N. ........... Just my opinion.
Great list. A tough T3 to sort for sure. LSU is totally missing the boat by using letters and not the tiger head. Congress needs to intervene on Vandy’s logo. Total crap-looks like it’s for a team called the Vipers. Very snaky and bad.
Of course this is my bias taking charge. But Alabama at #7 is a little bit low imo. I totally respect your rankings, it is your personal thoughts and nothing wrong with that at all. But it does open up for criticism lol. Especially from the Bammers like muhself 😉. You really like the shape of Texas don't you? I just finished your UAC logo rankings and you had several programs ranked high from Texas, that had a Texas state silhouette used. I instantly knew Texas would be your #1 logo for the SEC. Will it be the old logo with the state of Texas silhouette with the Longhorn? Im at #2 right now...Nope, went with the straight Longhorn logo. Texas and Alabama are the 2 biggest college football logos in the world. So I'd have them 1/2 either way wouldn't be an issue. Here would be my top 5 SEC logos. #5. Tennessee #4. Auburn #3. Georgia #2. Alabama #1. Texas (Went with Texas at 1 to show no hard feelings lol)
Reveille ( Rev-uh-lee), like the morning bugle call in the army.
That killed me. And he said it three times! Meant well though - that “Revay” is a mighty cool dog! 😂

You should combine all the power 5 conferences and ranked them all against each other
The Kentucky alternate thing is wild 💀
lol wow it really does look exactly lil birds boinking…just amazing
The video I have been waiting for!
I’m surprised South Carolina isn’t even in the top five.
Sc has an amazing logo tbh

Texas has the most iconic logo of ALL of college football.
The South Carolina log is under rated for sure
If I recall correctly

17:24 I like the 1967 logo, and I hope someday they bring it back
Florida’s logo is by far the coolest looking logo in the SEC.

Officially, the M-State banner logo is still the school logo, but they are slowly phasing it out of athletics. Thanks, though.
We need the SUN BELT NEXT

Florida has the best no doubt
Most Mizzou fans prefer the block M but the oval Tiger Head looks the best.
I personally like all of them and don't mind which one they use, my fav is the Tiger paw though
Once again, agreed with your top choice.

Bruh, you put A&M over Missouri and SC
Georgia should have been the worst for being completely unoriginal.
Is it just me or the auburn tigers mascot look like a old man lol
I’m ok with Florida being second but I think we should be first I don’t think Texas is number one
Best stadium in Boise state
I live in Missouri my high school was/is the Longhorns. 🤘🏻So you can probably guess my two favorite teams! MIZ ZOU 🐅 Go Longhorns! 🐅🤘🏻

Even Texas could be considered a cattle brand logo. ( The face of the Longhorn ).Texas, being # 1 in cattle production in the USA.

OU, classic, only 1!
I’d rank UGA’s logo last. It’s derivative and unoriginal, just like their fight song.
