Jack and Max went along with it with Derek as they didn’t have a clue what Derek was planning. Jack held David back to stop Derek stabbing him waiting for the right time to disarm him for David to do a runner.
Derek was a fuckin shit villain and a shit character. That's why they gave him a quick exit with no repercussions so everyone will forget about him asap.
jack is just as bad as max, just more mentally stable and sensible. jack has a darker past he was a corrupt detective and had people bumped off, max was just a cheat and a liar
samuel charwick yes but all the branning brothers are capable of showing a more evil side to them but max is the only one to kill someone when he killed Steven
@@coreyboachie that was a result of his environment i.e. the abuse he suffered when everyone he knew let him go to prison for life for something he didn't do which had a severe effect on his mental health which turned him into a killer. The Max in this video never would've done that.
Didn't max say Derek locked him up as a kid no jim did nothing? So doubt he likes him. Ridiculous as carol was a grown woman by then. She was better with Alan. Those were better storylines. But even Jack and max had to rescue Derek from kat. He was twisted
I know Jim had a bit of form in the past, like how he used to be a racist, gave his first wife Reenie a bit of a hard time and wasn't exactly the best of a father, particularly to Max. But by the time I started watching EastEnders, he'd changed and became a much softer, humorous character, particularly when he married Dot and became friends with Patrick. And was a more loving grandfather, like when he comforted Sonia after Jamie Mitchell died. Feels like Derek, Jack and Max sort of carried on Jim's old ways.
Derek was all mouth. Him vs Grant Mitchell 😂😂
There should've been more scenes like this with the Branning brothers. Imagine those 3 vs Phil and Grant?
The Branning trying to act hard seems more like a comedy act put together because it’s hilarious.
Jack is such a hypocrite. He judged Phil and his family when he is no better.
@@asmafayaz Jack didn't go ahead with stabbing David though? Maybe he just wanted to scare him so he'll leave Carol and Walford.
Isn't David the same actor who played one of the two Chelsea boss's on Football Factory? lol

The Branning Brothers confront David about their sister (Carol Jackson) and Derek was threatening to kill David with a knife.
Derek was great villian. It was shame EE killed him off😭💔
Agree☹
i'm glad he's gone

@@bp6329No you were sad 😢 he left.
Jack was acting more evil in this scene and Max was trying to stop Derek, it would usually be the other way round

@@gh0510 yeah that’s true
Short sighted decision to kill off characters like Derek and Nick Cotton. Ronnie and Roxy.
100% agree.
Is it me or did Max and Jack sort of switch roles in this scene? I'd have thought Max would be the one helping Derek to do David in rather than Jack.
Jack stoped him when he got close he just wanted to scare him first

Derek was such a bully Max & Jack ain’t no prizes either least Jack is nicer one of the 3
It happened 30 years ago, get over it already. Carol is a grown women.
Nothing to do with Carol. Apparently David embarrassed him infront of his crush 30yrs ago which stopped him from getting with her or something
Was it supposed to be all three of them to beat up David when he was 14 or just Derek? The back story seems to change as far as I can tell
Originally I think it was derek and his mates, but then later on in scenes like this one it’s implied it was derek max and Jack
