Edey was a 100th percentile rimrunner in college. He's so much bigger than the perimeter players coming down to tag him that they're rarely able to do anything to disrupt him finishing, and while the size difference might be less in the NBA, it's still going to be pretty massive. Teams almost always played drop coverage against Purdue to keep their big in the paint to have a chance at containing Edey. When the big did hedge, Edey almost always caught the pass rolling to the rim and got an easy dunk, with the only exceptions being a couple times when the tag guy was basically boxing him out and the rest of the defense collapsed around him, which won't work against NBA spacing. Edey is going to be a ludicrous offensive weapon if you pair him with a high-end guard who can exploit his gravity. Also Edey's lane agility time was historically great for someone his size, with the only heavy(275+ lbs) bigs in combine history with comparable times were Andre Drummond(somewhat faster) and Demarcus Cousins(a bit slower). While the inherent physical challenges of shifting 300 pounds of momentum will always exist, Edey is in line with the elite "moves well for his size" big bigs in modern NBA history. Sarr's lane agility score wasn't even bad, and for an actual 7-footer to have a 37" vert is downright impressive. People have strong preconceived notions of Edey being an unathletic plodder and so trash guys like Sarr and Clingan for having solid agility times for what they are because Edey's time is insane.
TSJ HAS THE HIGHEST MORAL CHARACTER OF ANYONE IN THE DRAFT. WHAT HE HAD TO GO THROUGH, AND PLAY THROUGH, SPOKE VOLUMES. HE WENT UNDER OATH ON HIS BEHALF AND THEY FOUND HIM NOT GUILTY. HE SHOULD BE A 1ST ROUND AND CLOSE TO TOP 10 PICK!!
@@MRBBALLMAN10 Grant Hill was 22, D Wade turned 22 during his rookie season, etc. The narrative that prospects in their 20’s lack upside is ridiculous.
Sneak into the 1st round? There is no sneaking, just where in the 1st he goes. Then, he's not a wing, if you're talking about the small forward position. Think he's more in the mold of a combo backcourt guard (1/2 instead of 2/3).
Dalton Knecht has fans in the Houston Rockets organization as well. Rumor has it, if Clingan is there at pick #3, Houston will trade the pick to Memphis and hope Knecht is still on the board.
Not a super important detail for your larger point on Shannon moving up; but, (to James) being acquitted (found not guilty) is not the same as being exonerated or 'found innocent.'
main problem with Leif and others is they simply do not understand the major leap there is between college and the pros. Scheierman and Kolek won't see the floor because of their atrocious defense. And nobody holds them accountable for their awful takes. Early to mid 2nd round talents

Last year 5 guys who were 22 went in the first round. Jaquez,Sheppard,Brown,Sasser, Murray.
It’s a trend that I think began last year and is building
Back in the day practically all of the draft prospects were in their 20’s. Both Jordan and Hakeem turned 22 during their rookie year.

I have TSJ 16th on my big board and still feel it may be a bit low
why ?
@@jordanryanethanowona2974 I’m buying the shot and two way athleticism. If this case never happened I believe most ppl would have him 14-25 range

Shannon Jr. is a lottery pick without question.
Good stuff guys
Edey to spurs🤞
Pacome Dadiet...upside...!!!!! 20...on will be a steal!!!

Dude was clearly innocent no question whatsoever if you followed the case and trial so might as well say exonerated
So what was he guilty of?
@@bkelly625 I didn't follow any of it. But in our CJ system, those characterizations are not the same thing.
@@knighthonor44 I have no idea - didn't follow the case. Just making a point about the terminology in out CJ system.
Le blond semble obsédé par le pourcentage au tir , alors qu'il sait pertinemment que se n'est pas sa qui détermine la valeur d'un joueur.
For some reason I doubt this draft is as good as 1984s... But many of the prospects are just as old as they were in a different era.
Terrence Shannon Jr. to the Cavs at 20.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Terrence Shannon Jr. is a way better prospect imo than those two but I don’t mind them at the end of the 1st or early 2nd
Bucks at 23 will get TSJ and start next to dame
He turns 24 soon....not a 1st round pick!
TSJ falls to the Bulls
