Labaron Philon: The Star of a Prospect-Packed Alabama-Illinois Battle
As a lifelong Wizards fan I’m extremely pleased with the progression of Alex Sarr
Imo Risasher is in a very good position.. He's an important member of a winning team and coach Quinn is great at developing players..He s just 19 with a great work ethic..His path to success is a hard one but I m sure he ll be a very successful NBA player and maybe in 5 years an all a star.. Btw what's your opinion of Ron Holland??
This is literally the weakest class of All Time .
We’re gonna pretend like the 2024 class doesn’t exist.
Mister Barlow where is the problem with Zachary Risacher . Vous avez le droit de penser qu'il s'agit d'une draft faible , mais on ne juge pas une classe juste au milieu de la première saison mais après 2 ans dans la ligue.
You tried to finish talking about Yyes Missi...you got exited and came back to talking about Zach Edey's stats including the fact that he's 9 for 23 from 3. BUT YOU BELIEVE he will finish at #4 Rookie....at only 22 minutes per game averaging 11 points/8 rebounds/1.2 blocks. NUTS
Didn’t say he will finish 4th. I said right now. Today. Because the season isn’t over today. He doesn’t miss games he’s 1 or 2.
Wells is by far the best 2 way player....
Other than McClain, sarr has been the best rookie this month, the most consistent one too. Now I see why most gm had him 1. If he keep up like this he will be roy
Tristan Da Silva gotta be higher man
No Ajay Mitchell respect playing for the #1 seed Thunder, last 4 games 13 points, 4 reb, 3 assits, 68% from 2, 58% from 3. Season 16 minutes game 51% from field, 46% from 3, 2rb, 1 asst, 6 pts on a talented team
@@soggybread749 man I wish we had more than 30 minutes to talk about all the guys. We can’t cover everyone in the time slot and we always leave people off. But Ajay has been playing great
I mentioned on a recent pod that I wished he played for someone else. He was a 1st round pick IMO
If we were doing a redraft of this class, I'd have Sarr No. 1, followed closely by Risacher at No. 2.
McCain being number one is the type of shit why I unsubscribed last year. This shit isn’t even a hot take.
@@justinford4075 ✌🏾
😂
Missi will be ROY
There's no rookie playing better with higher potential than Alex Sarr, but I know people don't watch the wizards lol
@@objdadon I don’t see any of the memes we saw after summer league now that he’s playing well…
I've watched every wizards game so far this season, alex sarr has huge potential. Really been breaking out this past month. People won't know because nobody watches the wizards. He's shooting 45% from 3 through December
Great thing about being a Wizards fan is the cheap game tickets lol. Seeing Sarr in person really drives home his potential
imagine needing an MVP candidate to consider a draft class strong lmao. That is NOT what determines a draft class' strength. Oh no, it doesn't compare to 2018 which is legit top 3-5 class of all time!!! Must be weak!!!! Yawn .I cannot wait to remind all of you how you made these laughable claims when the dust settles. And I mean ALL of you. You talking heads and the "experts" you get your opinions from are all in lock-step. I'm old enough to remember y'all thinking Mobley was an elite prospect and Sarr is his clone yet he's a bum? It's so funny. We aren't even getting Carter, Topic or Holmes yet due to injury. And unlike most years, everyone is blocked because bad teams they got drafted by have had years of taking young players and they still don't know about them yet. While teams trying to compete have quality vets being paid big money blocking others. Just relax, 3 years from now it will be obvious that this is a well above average draft class and nowhere near "weakest draft class since 2000" like is thrown around so much.
@@robitaillecopeland1996 you right. Salute.
Did you hear the part when I said I think Sarr has all nba talent?
@@jamesbarlowe759 nah. I told him he needs his own podcast. He just basically wrote out a podcast script saying the same thing he’s said in nearly every other rookie report..
@@jamesbarlowe759 YOU feel that way but not your bro
@@LockedOnNBABigBoard thanks!!
A better rebounding Brook Lopez comp for Big Zach would make him my favorite player in the league or up there with D. White and Chet
It is obvious that you don't watch the games but only looking at stats. The Raptors got a few good rookies. JaKobe walters is balling.
@@Matt-ul2rf he has been playing well. But every fan base feels the same way when one of their players isn’t mentioned.
He’s trending in the right direction but he’s only played 17 games. Shout out to him
When you guys going to have the NBA BIG BOARDS merchandise? lol.
Just went on James and Rafael’s twitter account and to the surprise of none, no mention of Ace Bailey’s performance against Columbia.
No mention of anyone’s performance. Haven’t posted on twitter in hours
@ Rafael, when have you seen a freshman that can score from anywhere?? Tatum, maybe?
Great episode
My goats
Thanks for the content guys. Request, could you review the good and bad surprises from the 2023 draft class so far this season.
Time for a rookie watch, my boy sarr is hooping
This week
Any thoughts about Miles Byrd?
Great episode guys!!! I think both Ivisic brothers are close, I'd still take Zvonimir by a sliver in a draft though. Got to agree that Dylan Harper has to be the best driver in the draft. Labaron Philon has to be at least a first round pick since Kasparas is right...? Ian Jackson is a good scorer, but being ACC POY is a big stretch. I don't know whether he will climb into the top 10 or not, but top 20 is very likely at least. That Alijah Martin to Marcus Smart is a great comp as far as the bullishness for sure. I've turned the corner at least for now - Liam is slightly ahead of Riley atm. Still subject to change though imo. Ace could be in someone's big board in the middle of the first round, but I don't think he slips past 4 in the draft. He's likely going higher than that too. Stojakovic has to be a consensus riser. I think Bruce Thornton is an UDFA guy. Still a little surprised my guy Adrian Wooley isn't getting more credit than he maybe should. No, he's not the best prospect or anything, but I'd have him in my top 40 prospects if he declared. There's so much to like about him, I'd like to see an episode on him even if it were about other severely underrated prospects. But he's a solid athlete with a jumper that can put the ball on the floor and play defense. So he turns the ball over - he's also a freshman carrying an otherwise bad team while being the target in the game. Maybe I'm crazy or his biggest fan and don't know it - but I just don't see why more people are not on this kids' bandwagon. Btw, watching 2 games today... Columbia @ Rutgers could be a good one. Like to see how the 11-1 smart play of Columbia fairs against 2 of the top 5 picks... Should be an important game for Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa too. The second game will be tonight where Santa Clara goes to San Francisco. Under the radar prospects in that game... Anyways, til' next time!
He'd make GMs foolish if he went to a solid team and balls out though.
@@gabrielcarrasco9078 don't know which "He'd..." you mean, but I'm curious...
@@norrinradd542 The Ace Bailey is slander is getting out of hand.
@@mikejones9906 yeah mid first round isn't going to happen - that's for sure. I can see a world where he's the first pick but then I could see a world where he slips to 4th.
@@norrinradd542 Ace
Ian Jackson is definitely a top 10 pick.

@@mikejones9906 Flagg at 4 huh? I'm about as high on Dink Pate atm, like it a lot... Btw, thanks for not including Kasparas - top 5 talk about him is a bit of a stretch to me...
Do you see Milicic Jr selected in June?
Oooh I've arrived late. I would lime to ask you about Danny Wolf and about Baba Miller options in this upcoming draft
👌🏿
Good piece! Tell us about Michigan's Danny Wolf. Mocks have him going mid 2nd rd but he looks like a steal. I'd love to see him play for my Chicago Bulls next year.
I see Darius Garland too….
Best passer is Egor Demin
Ifs and buts dont pay the bills.
What about Mikey Williams?
@@WillHarp-q3v what makes him an NBA prospect?
Demin played hurt (knee contusion) against Providence and has been out since. And though he didn’t shoot well against Ole Miss and NC State he found other ways to impact those games.
Definitely need more live streams.
If I’m a team I’m taking Hunter and Riley Kugel late first round. They will do better with all the spacing.
Hunter Sallis yes, I still need to see it from Kugel. Leaving Florida was a 🚩 for me
@ Kugel just had a big game against Memphis.

Cam Boozer over AJ??? You don’t really believe that Stayman.
Statements like that make you lose credibility.
He’s clearly infatuated with Cameron boozers current success. That’s the only argument u can really make, that Cameron boozer was clearly the better highschool player. Ajs potential is just so much higher
@@ginajyneen8868 He’s rage baiting
@5stariley He’s not the better High School player though, AJ had been playing in the NIBC for years before he transferred to Utah Prep. He’s played against way better competition.
@@mikejones9906 Columbus has been playing a national schedule as well. When they had equal teams last year columbus won both times. An in the eybl circuit cameron boozer has made his case to be the best to ever do it on the circuit winning 3 straight peach jams. I understand aj having the higher potential (and being the number 1 pick in a hypothetical draft), but cameron boozer has been one of the best highschool players EVER. All he needs to really put himself in that top 5 ever debate is a national championship this year.
Gotta look out for BaBa Oladuton
Gotta love Stayman's incites...
I like the idea of Dink Pate in the lottery. I don't understand why he hasn't gotten more of that hype before now, given his age, physical profile and level of competition. As a Raptors fan, I've been thinking that if the Raptors fall outside of the top 5, I think he's as viable a prospect as anyone in the top 10.
You guys dont watch Toronto at all. Barnes was starting at Center as a rookie but he played every position. He was PG in college and is a PG right now for Toronto since IQ has been hurt all year. He's not a 4 with a handle. Thats like the American media's perspective on him. He's an actual big PG he runs the offense, makes fullcourt passes, no look passes and everything. Flagg is not anything like Barnes. Theres also alot of things Flagg does as a big that you wont see Barnes doing, like his 2nd leap explosion, or abillity to contest shots through contact, finishing at the rim and finesse/touch at the rim, footwork and body control.
