thank you so much for this tutorial! I managed to print onto book pages using Canva but didn’t make a carrier sheet first, so as you can guess the prints were all over the place!!! Your instructions are really easy to follow and I’m so excited to get going now I know what to do!! The envelopes look great, can’t wait to try it now!!! Thank you ❤

Brilliant Donna. Your instruction is outstanding and always so very helpful. I use Procreate so will try this process on it. Thank you so very much. ♥️🌺♥️
I am very excited for this video! I have just ordered a new printer and with the quick peek at yours, it’s the exact same one. Yay! 🎉 My cheap printer doesn’t allow for me to do anything other than regular copy paper. I’m so happy that I will be able to get glassine bags thru this printer. Thank you so much for taking the time to show Canva. I do not have a computer, I do everything on an iPad or my mobile phone. But my daughter has a laptop, so I will borrow her for a few hours and get decent images printed. Thanks so much for showing us how to make these beautiful glassine bags! Hugs 🤗❤️
Hi! My name is Donna Carraway and I live in Co. and I read your comment and thought I would write to you! I am in the same boat with using an iPad and iPhone ( my computer just got very old so I just stopped using it). I’m now just about ready to buy a computer so that I can do more things with it. I also think that I may need to get a different printer because I have tons of trouble connecting with it. I’m not sure if it’s because of the iPad and not a computer or if it’s just the printer but either way I need to get this solved so that I can enjoy my hobby! Can you please tell me what kind of printer you ordered? I must have missed it when Donna said what it was! Thank you so much for sharing!😊😊😊
@@donnacarraway9182 She didn’t actually say it, but I saw it. It’s an Epson Ecotank. Mine will be the 2850, but there are several different models, depending on your budget, etc. I have been watching videos from different creators, trying to see what most of them use. And over and over this is the one that I hear is the best, the most economical, and something that can be used for all kinds of materials (card stock, glassine, transparencies etc) . Good luck, mine is coming Monday, and I’m excited!
hey Tamara, you will love the ET-4850 especcialy for printing cardstock, i can print at least 350gsm in mine lessor models can't do heavier cardstock, so it's a great choice. you can put the Canva app on your ipad, that way you can practice and use it when ever you want, it's my pleasure to show how to do this stuff i love it!! ♡☆🦋 hugs Donna and happy creative printing
@@JunkJournalideas no!! Mine is a 2850. I hope I can use some decent card stock. I’m not sure how I missed that. With so many different people saying their opinions, and getting all the specs floating in my fog brain, I must have missed that. Sometimes it’s better to just listen to a few people you trust, and not do a search on RUclips 😂. Thanks for the heads up
@@blackcoffeeandwildflowers I was not gonna buy anything that couldnt print cardstock bc I use a lot of 250 to 300gsm so it had to be able to print it, I asked the question to a guy who was pretty switched on and he rang someone who was more switched on lol and she said yep the 4850 will print heavier cardstock, and it does. here's some info i searched about the 2850 model... the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 can print on 200gsm cardstock, but it may require some adjustments. Users have reported success by keeping the printer settings on "plain paper" and feeding the cardstock one sheet at a time through the rear paper feed. Applying slight, even pressure to the top of the sheet as it feeds into the printer can help it load properly. However, some users have experienced issues with the printer spitting the paper out or not printing consistently, so results may vary

Hi Donna, thank you so much for this tutorial! I have had Canva for over 2 years, the paid subscription, and I am embarrassed to say that I rarely use it, because I don't know my way around. I can do basic things but do not have the "know how" to create lovely things for my journals, such as what you've shown in this video. So, from the bottom of my heart a big thank you!! Now, I'm assuming (though I probably shouldn't) that to do this technique onto kraft or plain white bags/envelopes we would follow these same instructions except when we go to print don't change our paper setting to glossy, correct? Again, thank you so much for helping us to create beautiful elements for our journals. xxxx
tsk tsk tsk Lin, hopefully you will change this now lol but it sure nice to know you have it at the ready, It's perfect for creating journal pages and ephemera, I might keep coming up with the ideas to use it if I get the demand for it. yep, you assumed correct, if you use plain paper bags or envelopes leave the paper setting on ♡☆🦋 hugs Donna and happy creative printing xx
