EX2 Henry is actually one of the better if not best Henry. It almost guarantees you don’t have to worry about blockers and it plays into Rapid X DP minus. The power to suspend is strong if you start thinking more flexible. And yes, the new MegaGargo makes it better. Going out on a limb here, I think MegaGargos are always four cost because Willis exist.
I think the "when attacking suspend a Digimon" effects are to get a blocker out of the way, but I do agree that they would be better if it was before the attack. Maybe a start of main effect?
Digi costs for lvl 6s are almost always tied to dp. So all 11k DP Digi for 3, 12k for 4, and 13k for 5. Only time it breaks from that is generally through a black box digi cost reduction on specific lvl 5s ie. the lvl 6 bees.
Almost all these cards were a huge swing and a miss. Gargomon and Henry are the only decent ones that help tie the deck together. Terriermon is mid at best, the megagargomon is ridiculously expensive for what it does like you mentioned (why Bandai, why do all megagargomon have to be memory chonkers), and the ace is practically irrelevant for most modern iterations of the deck, whether you run the warp/biomerge package or not. I'm not gonna complain too much since we did get support for several sets in a row but for a set that was specifically touted as Tamers support, this is almost a slap in the face to terriermon players. At least we got a new decent Calumon.
Well the last wave of support in the west gave us alliance support. There’s different decks you can play. 1 is terriermon armor l/megagargo and the other is bunny alliance
I think people judge the Rapid Ace too harshly considering the relevance its inheritable can have to get past big walls the usual terrier deck is unable to currently break.
People judge that ace harshly because it hardly does anything for the current deck, and the same goes for most of these cards. 4k dp buff is nice but it's only on your turn so your stack is super vulnerable next turn, not to mention the overflow you're giving your opponent as a trade off , and the fact that you now lock yourself out of gargo ace (since most people don't want overflow 7 on their main stack). If you want dp in the current terriermon deck, calumon gives you 3k + 1 memory + 1 draw. BT17 Willis also gives you 2k DP which lasts for the opponent's turn, and it also helps speed up the deck tremendously. As for the suspend effect, again it does very little for the deck. Our top end already suspends everything *and* can blast digivolve onto a lvl4 too, so this card provides very little added value. A reminder that the starter rapidmon does a Dedigivolve 1 and becomes immune from removal for 1 turn, and the inherit lets you trash a security card via combat. That's a common card. This ace just suspends one thing for 1 turn and gives you a dp buff on your turn only and it's a super rare. We even have 1 *level 4* rapidmon that lets you suspend 3 digimon at once and give them -5k DP. So why in the world does this level 5 super rare do so little? These cards are straight out of EX2 in power level, back when terriermon got its first wave of support. I'm not gonna say it's entirely useless but it's simply not worth running for most people. Out of all the aces revealed this set I wouldn't hesitate to say this is by far the worst.
I could see use for the Terriermon, swing into security then suspend a digimon down to stop a potential blocker, but I can’t really see a use for the other support. PS-still pretty new to the game, so my way of thinking isn’t meta level more shenanigans

The new Terry cards are pre mid but that's ok coz we got lots of good cards to work with!
I think new Henry is pre nice tbh :)
If terriermon has no fans you are dead.

Pretty sure since terriermon is the most popular green deck now so it gets Greymon level of support lol
5 cost Evo is criminal
Henry giving rush is still good, takato could never, for some reason. Needs a specific guilmon to do it
