The print I ordered from you guys just arrived. I already have it framed and really appreciated the handwritten note. It really means a lot that you take the time. Thanks so much.
It arrived already?! That makes me so very happy! I got an email from someone recently thanking me for the hand written note, and it made me pause and think "But wait, how could you NOT send a note?!" My mom raised me with the strong belief that if you are sending something to someone, you write them a note... even do it when I sell things on Ebay! Hope you love the print
Always good to see Bound for Nowhere + Tight Loops adventures! 🌵 🦇
I know. Things are so fun when they're around!
The bat was hilarious. Did you consider going up to Cerro Gordo and see Brent from Ghost Town Living? H explored that last mine you were at and there are many near his place as well.
Sadly no! People keep telling us we should go!
Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful presentation.
Love the slide show at the end of the vids...nice touch
Thank you so much!
Ahh... Loving the music and editing of this video, really emphasised the adventure.
Thank you so much!
I love DV! I've hiked it a zillion times since the '70's. Going again in 3 weeks!
It's still looking real hot over that way! You going to be in the mountains to get out of that heat?!
@@BoundForNowhere the Temps are usually acceptable by mid November, and there's lots to be seen in the mountains. Planning to spend a couple days in Cerro Gordo, and maybe help rebuild the American Hotel there.
Looks like a great time. Great editing+music as well! +100
Thank you Eli!!
Abnormally tame bats can possibly be a sign of paralytic rabies. Not much you can do when one is already on you like that, but for life long travellers the rabies vaccines are a pretty handy thing to have.
I absolutely love your videos! Keep up the great work you are doing and thank you for sharing with us!
Thank you! And will do!
Y'all are SOOOO good at pulling this together. Epic adventures epic content.
Thank you so much David! I really appreciate that!
What an excellent adventure!
And the Bat🦇
Awesome video as usual! That old mine was really cool...reminded me of all the mining debris outside of Nome, AK. I lived in Nome for about 4 years and I never got tired of exploring the old mining areas.
It's such an interesting glimpse into a way of life that doesn't really exist in that way anymore! So fun!
Awesome video. Can’t wait for the next one!
Me either!
Another crowd pleaser video! Mac's face with the bat! Take it you will have opinions to share on the vehicles. Thanks again BFN.
We have already released some camper videos about the rigs we brought on this trip with us however we don't really compare the trucks themselves. It's not our area of expertise, and we are really biased. ;)
Another great video. Thanks for sharing
We appreciate you watching it! See ya next week!
Your videos keep getting better. Bravo 👏
Great adventure and great video and editing.
If you love the caves, tall rock formations and gorges you would love the far north of Western Australia. I hope you get to visit one day. Thank you for an awesome video.
I know, one day we will get there! It's VERY high on our list!
Seriously cool amigos.
Another sick video!!
great vid thanks!
My print arrived yesterday! So exited to take it to my office!
Yayyyyy! How does it look in your office! I'm so happy that it made it to you safe and sound!
Oh, and the Bat landing on you was way COOL!
I thought so too! I LOVE bats
I was just beginning to worry because your videos have not been showing up when you appeared with this epic adventure! I love the old mines here at JTNP but finding the one you did was marvelous! Really beautiful video - thank you.
We really appreciate that! We really love putting them together!
The bat landing on you was just awesome.
Right!? so wild! I love bats so much!
I LOVE this iteration of your film making! Oh, and the Stranger Things themed music. Safe travels!!
Yeah there is a reason we took the 80's synth themed music for this mini series. If shall be reviled in the last episode
I love this series.
Thank you! Sad it's going to be over this weekend
Amazing footage
Thank you so so much!
I need friends like this! 😅
Everyone does ;)
Great video! I'd say Fourwheel Campers is getting their money's worth as you do a great job of showing them getting you to interesting places.
HA thanks! We are lucky they trusted us to do whatever we wanted when we went out for this trip. We took the opportunity seriously ;)
Woah. Any good pictures of the bat? 👀🤓 😍
What an absolutely awesome experience! So pumped for these every time!
PS: I don’t eff with bats! Rabies scares the hell out of me!
Death Valley is the place to be!!! Can’t wait to be back soon!
I miss it too!
@@BoundForNowhere Love your Channel. Gives me many memories of my past trips to the States. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany
omg the cutie bat
I love a good cutie bat! I've always been a fan!
i worked in death valley i loved it
Yeah, it may be one of my favorite parks anywhere!
yall are super underrated
HAHA Thanks I guess but also, I know what you mean and we're flattered ;)
The wee bat!
Great video! Does the Ford have a tailgate seal to help lessen the dust intrusion?
Any dust getting into the Ram’s camper?
As much as you try, you really can’t seal up a truck bed very well, including the tailgate area. I have a slide-in Hawk on my Power Wagon, zero dust. And I daily drive my truck 5 miles each time I leave my house to get to pavement, beyond doing actual off-road treks. Having all your gear clean when you stop for the end of the day is a serious plus.
@@donleamon8653 I too have a Power Wagon and been looking at the Hawk shell model. I was considering the lighter project M but I’ll pass cause of the dust issue. Thanks
Are you not allowed to fly a drone within park boundaries? I've noticed you put in that footage was after park boundaries. Great videos! I always love to see a new one pop up in my notifications. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us.
No there are strict no drone flying laws in all National Parks and National Wilderness areas as well as a bunch of other places which is why we made sure to specify that we were out of the park for that little bit
This is beautiful! It really makes us even more excited for your Alaska series! I also got a kick out of how calm you were with the bat 😂 I like bats, and I would have panicked! Those photos at the end are so good! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
First!! Can't wait!
Hope you enjoyed!
When were you in DV during the wind storm? A friend and I went to DV and tent camped at Stovepipe Wells last March. We were going to explore the valley from that location. After dark we were told there would be high winds that evening, well it pancaked out tent, got sand in more places I could count. Leaving DV we saw the same sand cloud.
This was back in April actually. It was the scariest thing I've ever seen nature do. DV is such a wild place!
Hi Mac and Owen from Houston. Carmen Farine
Hello hello! Thanks so much for watching!
I don't understand why your pop up does not have a door. When you're sleeping do you leave the tailgate open, or how do you close it? How do you get out? I don't understand haha
❤️
Do you guys still have the Toyota Tundra ?
And what is the name of your hike up the canyon? Golden Canyon? Mosaic Canyon?
Do you prefer a diesel or still love the gas. I know the Tundra is awesome but did you feel anything better with the diesel because of the torque? Great video and the bat so loved you, lol!
I knew it, you're Batgirl!
That leather knife roll around 5m10s is freakin’ awesome! Where can I get one?
I reached out to them to ask if the leather roll as a set is for sale yet. They sent us an early iteration of it and we LOVE IT! Seriously makes cooking fun to have a knife set that you love to use! But here is two of the knives we have of theirs: knifeflight.com/collections/get-started-with-professional-knife-sharpening/products/knife-set
knifeflight.com/collections/get-started-with-professional-knife-sharpening/products/leather-knife-roll
Boom! There it is!
Mine name have a CH at the end?
😎👍
So good as always! When did y'all switch from the Tundra?
Why do you put “this footage was taken after leaving the park”? I’m guessing you’re not supposed to fly the drone inside the park?
Either way I love your channel!
That is correct. In national parks flying drones isn't permitted. It's usually easier to just get ahead of any potential complaints.
Where's the Toyota Overlander?
Waiting patiently for us at the FWC headquarters.
absent any location info, why would I watch more videos like this?
We aren’t here to spoon feed you. 😘
hmm why was my comment removed?
🤷🏼♀️ never came through on our side
buh bye
