So much respect for Dana White. I ran into him at one of the Megaclubs in Las Vegas maybe 9 or 10 years ago when the UFC had already found massive success. Told him how I am a local DJ but have been a diehard fan since that first season of Ultimate Fighter. He let me come to his VIP table and pour a drink from his bottle and we chatted for a few minutes. He thanked me as a fan and then I realized that his security was going to do their jobs and tell me to keep it pushin'. So I read the room and moved along before it got awkward. Either way that is way more than I would expect from any public figure or celebrity in that situation. Dude keeps receipts whether that is supporting their vision with the UFC or working against him. I'm grateful for his hard work and so many amazing memories of great fights.
cool how you knew when to split, most do not. Special moment. I had one with Garth Brooks when he was a mega-success, and he gave me a few moments but the room started to fill up and I asked for a pic and then split. Funny, I was also a local DJ at a country-western club and told him so it gave me some cred. Celebs arent bad people, but they have so many fans and so much to deal with but these moments do happen and its always awesome when they do, just know when to say when and you did!
Incredible how comfortable you made him feel to open up like that. Great, yet humble display of empathy and honest friendship. Thank you, I've learned a lot.

He's the best of a group known for shady business dealings? Yes, look at all the promoters as far back as you want to Go, it's all Shady, look at Suge Knight, Don King, they're all full of Shit
I knew about how him and the Fertita brothers bought the UFC and how they built it up to where it was huge and they sold it for over 2 BILLION dollars!! But this is a fantastic interview!! What a crazy story!
Man, I've been a fan of big boy for years now. He's a legend, I stopped following him for awhile now but this interview brought me back. All I do is work, train at a Muay Thai gym, and bet on boxing, MMA, and foot ball. I hope he interviews a few UFC fighters. He needs to get Sean Strikland on his channel since he just whooped on izzy
Super good interview . I’ve heard Dana’s story multiple times but not in depth like this. You asked all the right questions that I was thinking to myself while watching
Not too many interviews this long that I can sit through, but this one I am just riveted. I'll probably listen to it a couple more times. It's not only a great motivational story but Dana tells it well.

Swear to God I could listen to Dana talk all day. Love this mf. What a God damn animal and also a hell of a genuine dude. Met him in Houston and watched him walk from inside a bar and take pictures and shake hands with over 100 people waiting in line. Mad respect for this dude.
This may have been one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Completely changed my view of Dana I already knew I liked him but getting to know him closer I love him
Listening to this just made my whole being just want to conquer the world, whatever that means. Thank you Dana and thank you big boy for this interview. It made my day. ( Mental health is real and it's been kicking my ass)
I remember being hooked on that 1st season of The Ultimate Fighter, I was in High School at the time working my 1st job, coming home relaxing and watching some ultimate fighter. Been watching the UFC ever since.
Dana is one of the coolest mofos around, hands down, down to earth, ruff edges in all the right places, and an inspiration for anyone at the bottom, wanting to go to the top in life, legend.
What he didn't say was one of the fertitta was on the nevada athletic commission that turned down approving mma as a sport in Nevada when the original owner had but it got approved once they bought it
@stephenbartlett1167 he runs the business he has to approve all sponsors n make deals with the fighter's I believe dana deals with fighter's who are huge draws such as jon jones or izzy
Even with all that Dana has accomplished, all the influence he has, all the lives he has changed, the one person he is most affected by, and never got the approval or acceptance from was his own flesh and blood, his father. It is probably what has subconsciously motivated him his entire life. At 8:50, you can see the pain and hurt it still brings talking about it. Your father is the most important male figure in your life, and their disregard or rejection of you, runs the deepest. That to me was the most telling thing in this entire amazing interview I got. Probably be the last thing he thinks of when he passes away, that his own father didnt really want his kids. I know, my pops was the same.
Great interview, love combat sports... but I don't get powerslap... how is it not just signing up to get a concussion? In other combat sports, your skills can save you from a concussion, but in power slap it seems guaranteed
Dana is motivational dude. He talked about all the connections with people that he had and ran into to help get him where he's at and that didn't even include Rogan. The UFC is Dana.
Fair play what a amazing interview....Dana plz plz plz put out a autobiography....your a legend and you enriched the lives of so many fans by fighting for the sport the world now loves ❤️
This is the best Dana White interview I think. Big Boy asked the right questions at a perfect pace to get them all answered which such detail. The excitement and passion in Dana white as he's telling his come up story is credited to Big Boys real admiration for him and genuine real interest in his life and sport and I can tell Dana White respects and appreciates him and considers him a friend by the way he opened up in this interview. The fact that power slaps ratings did better than the NHL and NBA when airing at the same time is nuts. I think I might look into seeing what it takes to go pro cause it seems like these guys will make millions per competition very soon when this becomes a major sport. I have some experience, I've been getting slapped through my whole marriage I just need to work on my slapping skills when I start training cause its been a while but defensively im pretty good.
Wow, you have a gift man! Dana normally stays very closed off to media, you're a master of opening people uo and they don't even realise until they're deep into it. Bravo.
Dana White is the Epitome of the American Dream. That you can start from nothing, have a Millionaire Friend buy you a million dollar business and turn it into a Multi Billion Dollar Franchise and New International Mega Sport. Anyone can do that! ?
This is the best interview I ever watched. Dana White is definitely driven. So happy for him and proud at the same time because I am from Massachusetts north of Boston. And Massachusetts has produced some of the greatest boxes ever. Keep on going Dana!
1:00:49 Tyson was returning after a suspension for biting a piece of his opponent's ear off. Did anyone expect the commentators to be cheerleading him like the ufc dorks do?? If that had happened in the octagon, White would ban the fighter for life. He's full of it.
"I thrive on chaos". Dana in his own words. Very revealing conversation. He's one of the best incarnation of a business man of today's unruly capitalism. Excellent interview.
Don’t know this channel or the person doing the interview, but I will say what a great job he did with Dana!! Didn’t talk over him, let him speak, let him be him on all topics, asked great questions with follow up!! Just a great interview!! And of course Dana being Dana was awesome!! Wish we had more reporters like this guy!! Great job and new sub here!!
Dana is the real deal! One of the rare celebrity’s that money didn’t change for the worst…I’m sure he’s the best Dad, brother, son, friend, boss, etc. Real recognize Real!
I have always admired Dana for his tenacity and leadership skills. Am in Ghana but I am a fun of Dana. He has built UFC into one of the BIGGEST global combat sports. When I look back 5 years ago about his physic and how he looks now I think he looks better and being a CEO of the best MMA fighter how he looks now is the best. Its like Vince McMahon leading WWE
Dana seems like such a great person, imagine your boss telling you either we all die or we all live but we’re in this together and nobody is getting laid off
Wow ‼️🔥🔥🔥💯💪🏼, man the best interview, it was the realest, no holds bar type interview,, Dana is one of the REALIST MOST DOWN TO EARTH , most humble human being I’ve ever looked up to as a ROLE MODEL,, and man his podcast is of the hook as well,, he’s the best and he has so much more to achieve that it’s unseeable 💯%‼️ wow great man to man conversation , great job “BIG BOY”on making DANA so comfortable great job brother this is top 2 interviews ever so far ,, great podcast man I’ll be watching if not all then most of your content,, THANKS MAN‼️ BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS & TO DANA AND HIS AS WELL ✌🏼

I 100% agree
I guess u like Trump to😂
🔥🔥🔥 This interview was straight FIRE! Dana's story is incredible man. It's hard not to respect him. Despite what your personal opinion is about him.
Could you imagine how America would be today if Dana was the president instead of Biden ?
Better
This may have been one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Completely changed my view of Dana I already knew I liked him but getting to know him closer I love him
Half way through , had to pause to comment what a fantastic interview hats off 👏 👏 Dana is so comfortable so interesting thank you !
Great interview. One of the best I’ve seen in awhile.
Great interview! I've met both of you guys several times and your always a class act!
The “may god have mercy on my enemies… because I Won’t” tag beside the door is a great reminder of the old saying. “fuck em” 😂 🔥
Excellent interview 👏 👏👏👏
Love Dana. Been a fan of ufc since day one. Feel old because I can't keep up with all the new fighters. The sport has changed so much. Still love it.
Dana is one of the coolest mofos around, hands down, down to earth, ruff edges in all the right places, and an inspiration for anyone at the bottom, wanting to go to the top in life, legend.
What he didn't say was one of the fertitta was on the nevada athletic commission that turned down approving mma as a sport in Nevada when the original owner had but it got approved once they bought it
A real comment. I was beginning to think this was the Dana White fan club page. 👏
@joshuadoughty dana is great at doing what he does but dana has also never cared about the fans or the fighters he only cares about money period
@@chindub6563I’m not being sarcastic, but I’d like to know exactly what it is that he does? Personally, I think he’s just a spokesman
@stephenbartlett1167 he runs the business he has to approve all sponsors n make deals with the fighter's I believe dana deals with fighter's who are huge draws such as jon jones or izzy
The votes of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) members are not public. You're making shit up.
Great interview. Dana is proof. Hard work will get you places. Knowing millionaires helps too 😂
Don’t fighters work hard?
@@stephenbartlett1167 yes, but it's a business. They know b4 hand what they're getting paid. Their choice.
@@Vern9000 Tell that to a judge and jury
Damn I’ve never been so disappointed that an interview ended in my life!! I literally was like WTF??? THATS IT!!???
Great interview, love combat sports... but I don't get powerslap... how is it not just signing up to get a concussion? In other combat sports, your skills can save you from a concussion, but in power slap it seems guaranteed
I agree man ,how long are you going to last in that sport? What's the long term affects ? Hell no lol!
I think it's for the TikTok generation.
So many moments in this interview gave me goosebumps! Fantastic story!
Big Boy definitely has one of the best interview style and technique out there. Another really interesting episode.
Dana is motivational dude. He talked about all the connections with people that he had and ran into to help get him where he's at and that didn't even include Rogan. The UFC is Dana.
Dana is one of the realest on the planet. Great show man 👏🏽
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man, this made want to do more and really work on things that I have visions on. Will look back at this years from now. Cheers!
Fair play what a amazing interview....Dana plz plz plz put out a autobiography....your a legend and you enriched the lives of so many fans by fighting for the sport the world now loves ❤️
Big Boy - one of the best to ever do it! Awesome interview.
Great fucken interview Big Boy I swear this is one of my favorite interview ever in RUclips history no bullshit I love this show keep it going BIG BOY
WE NEED A Dana White x UFC BIOPIC!!!
I did not expect from the thumbnail! this was great! learnt so much about life hacks! thanks BIG BOIIIIIIIIIII
Great interview 💪🏼
Wow, you have a gift man! Dana normally stays very closed off to media, you're a master of opening people uo and they don't even realise until they're deep into it. Bravo.
Big Up, Sir Big Boy!
He is so spot on on the boxing commentary. It's unbelievable
okay now do Joe ROgan
Best podcast I’ve ever seen, literally with videos and photos explaining context and giving good visuals 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Dana White is the Epitome of the American Dream. That you can start from nothing, have a Millionaire Friend buy you a million dollar business and turn it into a Multi Billion Dollar Franchise and New International Mega Sport. Anyone can do that! ?
💯 Get yourself around winners. It's probably the most important thing you can do, right next to developing a valuable skill set.
I think the Fertitta bros were billionaires
Loyalty is soemthing that cant be taught. it is also the greatest attribute a business man can have.
Love Dana, he is just a real dude and I'm happy for all his success and Big-Boy is just fucking awsome, hope I can meet both guys one day.
I’m not proud of my fellow fan base but I’m definitely proud of what Dana has accomplished
Why do you say that buddy?
@@Youngbloodz33 in regards to what ?
Dana’s as real as it gets. Guy always speaks his mind. He does not give a fuck, and I love him for it.
Dana got me laughing when he say “type shit” 😂
Dana white is something else....
...?
"I thrive on chaos". Dana in his own words. Very revealing conversation.
He's one of the best incarnation of a business man of today's unruly capitalism.
Excellent interview.
How did randy try to screw over the ufc ? Because he wanted to keep his personal rights
I think he was trying to unionize the fighters. Would've killed their talent pool I'm guessing.
Need to do more of these types of interviews biG🎉. Adapt my g 🎉🎉🎉
Dana's one smart dude.
TRUMP 2024. LET'S GO BRANDON!
Let’s fucking go
Hell yeah!!
Amen Brother!!!
Not if dead ppl are allowed to vote again
The future President will pardon him@population-_-420
uncle dana the man ! love hearing his insight and how he handles things. he's so human and so successful its inspiring.
I can’t say enough thank you for this interview 🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏
You can't be around Dana White and not get motivated. You get three dudes like him in your life and you can accomplish anything.
If the media loves it it's never going to make it if the media hates it you got a keeper. Good insights.. awesome interview with Dana....
This was the manifestation of one of the greatest interviews of all time. Thanks for this.
Watched the whole interview, amazing 1:29:44
This man's philosophy is what's made ufc the number 1 sport on the planet 👌
Was there since the beginning. He talked about people and events I totally forgot about
Thank you so much big boy for this interview. Really got me interested from 0 - 100 real quick. Respect💯 to both men in this interview 💙🙏✊🏼
Dana white is the GOAT
5 AM, I clicked the link. I've been glued to the screen ever since. 😁
Great interview 👍👌
Dana seems like such a great person, imagine your boss telling you either we all die or we all live but we’re in this together and nobody is getting laid off
Wow ‼️🔥🔥🔥💯💪🏼, man the best interview, it was the realest, no holds bar type interview,, Dana is one of the REALIST MOST DOWN TO EARTH , most humble human being I’ve ever looked up to as a ROLE MODEL,, and man his podcast is of the hook as well,, he’s the best and he has so much more to achieve that it’s unseeable 💯%‼️ wow great man to man conversation , great job “BIG BOY”on making DANA so comfortable great job brother this is top 2 interviews ever so far ,, great podcast man I’ll be watching if not all then most of your content,,
THANKS MAN‼️ BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS & TO DANA AND HIS AS WELL ✌🏼
I never really liked Tito back in the day, but he helped save the UFC. Crazy how Dana talks about Loyalty
