      This haka I believe comes from Ngati Porou and was composed perhaps in the late 1800s and was a response to the prohibition of Tobacco laws, mainly, but also airs other grievances towards the Crown. The best would be for a naati to see and answer your question as I am not an authority and the haka is not from my area 😊
