He stopped talking and gave my moko the biggest warmest acknowledgment when we walked into the room. It was as if he had taken control of a moment in time and gifted it to my moko…it’s a moment my moko still vaguely remembers. She is 17 now. He was and will always be a legend in the hearts of many, my moko included❤ka aroha kia koe Matua!
When I was a student I worked in an office. One day Pita visited and he shook my hand even though I was a nobody. It left a real impression me. He is a good man.
