I remember, as a child, when my parents scoffed when they saw her speak at the Academy Awards. When I watched her speech a few months ago I was impressed at how composed and diplomatic she was in the face of the “boos” from the audience.
In many respects, she and Brando were ahead of their time. May she rest in Power.

If Marlon Brando was a man in any sense of the word and had any hair on the back of his rear end HE should have got up on stage and refused that award and not have some lowly Indian girl “take out his trash!” Her career tanked but his career flourished and that is not right! They should have stripped Marlon of every award he ever got for pulling that stunt.
He should have taken the stage with her..for men don't get boo'd..
Would a male native American have been treated like this? Nope! But many women would have boo'd her. That's how men get to dominate the world over. I'm glad she was brave and so was Brando. Though it wouldn't have hurt his career.

Whoops she’s Mexican, American born and lied about her Native American heritage which doesn’t exist. Her sisters outed her on her lies a couple of days ago. In reference to her their sister “Sacheen” that is actually a fabric ribbon company name, they claimed she aAs desperate for fame and “lived in a fantasy world. I’m native Chicano and she pulled one on me too.
But many Mexicans do have indigenous roots.

Her parents migrated from central Mexico. She grew up with a toilet and electricity. She simply is a pathological lier.
