There should be a warning at the start of this video to not attempt this with Lithium batteries. Drilling into batteries is always risky, but a ruptured Lithium battery can start a house fire.
who on earth is going to bother with all that fuss and mither, having to buy a syringe and salt and glue then mess about with gluing plastic stuff ,Its gotta be easier to just get 2 new batteries
@@RM-yf2lu Somehow I don't think this will help if you're stranded in a natural disaster. Drilling into batteries while wasting glue and salt is not an efficient use of resources in that situation. Good science experiment though.
It would be great knowledge if stranded with dead batteries and where you can't replace them with new ones. But for practical purposes trying to reenergize Alkaline Batteries the charge wouldn't last maybe for a few hours then dies again.
I am a subscriber and liked the video but you can buy double A batteries for cents and although educational this particular video is more less worthless=just saying~!
Nice trick! But you really should remove the charger from the 220Vac wall power supply before start stripping and cutting the cable. Most probably the charger is protected against short-circuit., but still... it is not good habit, in my opinion.
Hmmmmmm, your mistake was cutting the conductors while you supposedly had the socket plugged into a socket at 120 volts, and on top of it all, you were holding onto the conductors while doing a test 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Come on! Come on! Too MUCH work to do!!!!! Better buy new batteries!!!

not to mention if the bit slips out and puts a nice hole in a finger and rush to the doctor's office for a tetanus shot~!!

I can't wait for these millennial geniuses to be stranded in a Natural disaster without electricity...their wails will be like the singing of angels

Doncha get it….? You’ve been scammed!
Ppl, just buy a new battery and give the old ones to a recicle depot!
Lol hope no one gets hospitilaised after this.

I can't believe this actually works! Gonna try it with my dead phone battery and see if it helps. 🔋
Litium battery is different,..it can explode if you try this metod..
Audio has horrible popping! Should be focused on fixing that!
Una locura
Lo pense y compre pilas nuevas, Son baratas
Yes but what about battery leakage. Batteries are cheap enough now and eventually, if you recharge the battery, it may leak and ruin tne device.

Yes, thanks for your helpful advice. I usually have to unplug the meter when making any electrical connections.

Ciao!
I mean seriously. Those 2 junk Chinese batteries couldn’t cost more than $1. Who would spend all that time on a science project like this.

Hello. Is your charging system just for troubleshooting?
