Melanie is an artist I only discovered due to being here at lolla this day. I’m 21 now, I was only 15-16 then and my friend dragged me along to lolla because of one band which the lead singer of arctic monkeys was apart of. So throughout the day we walked around and listened to a bunch of different artists we didn’t know, and ended up staying til the end of Melanie’s set Bc we were so enthralled! I became a fan that day! It’s rare for this to happen as I usually find all my favorite artists via SoundCloud, Spotify, social media etc so it was definitely special for us
