My 73 Z28 is visually identical to this car right down to the split bumper, wheels, chrome trim around the wheel wells that I don't actually like, side moldings, black with white stripes etc. Difference I guess is mines a real Z with a L82 350, turbo 400 and original 3:73 gears in it. Love driving it!
Personally I don't like the split bumper treatment on a non RS car, don't like the tall spoiler or the wheel well molding. This car is a good candidate for ac restoration.
My first car was a 71 camaro SS 350 , not a split bumper, bought it in 1976 paid $ 2500 dollars, that should give you an idea how old i am , and just in case nobody noticed that's not a real split bumper, the real one was the RS model and it had the round parking lights on top next to grill, not the rectangular at the bottom. 15:06
This is a basic Coupe which did not come with these style bumpers. Someone installed the split bumpers and badged it as a Z28, hence why it only has a 307. Coupe's came in 2 versions, one with a L22 l6 6 cylinder, one with a 307 if ordered with the engine upgrade. All Z28's and SS's came with a 350 or a 396 if you ordered the 396 upgrade. The asking price for this Coupe is very unfortunate because these cars go cheaper than this and they are not that desirable. You can get a mint conditioned Coupe with 0 flaws for this kind of price. At best, a Coupe in this condition with a 307 is around $17,000-$19,000. DEFINTIELY not $26,000.
btw , for those that don’t know , a 307 motor like I had could be rebored and fitted with better pistons and lifters and could end up pushing 300 hp … I out drag raced a ‘69 Dodge with a 340 and beat him most embarrassingly !!! … 307’s are a little misunderstood !!!
haddammn, only if that was a 4-spd.. I’d be interested to negotiate on the car, seems to drive out to be a pretty solid ride.. but ya’never know.. maybe if that price drops just enough to help man cover installing a nice Muncie 4-speed.. It’d be SOLD!Car really draws 👀s 💯🇺🇸
my buddy had one of those 70's with a 307. ha had to get rid of it....got him in to much trouble. he let me drive it when i was 16. thing had nuts! 307 could boogie!!

Hi guys, I like the color and wheels on this one and it has a good look but I would put a motor and trans to make it more fun! 💪💀👍 Thanks for sharing Nick and Maple Motors!😎🙏✌️🎉🇺🇸
Why anyone put 307 in a Camero for me I put 396 with a racing driveshaft and 400 turbo transmission 396 duce carb supercharger and interior back original interior racing rims
Is nick the/// Car soul sold wife of blade works hornworks wow and the fan works. And most of all that the radio works the car is so sold That's it see you in the next video

Exactly. Not originally a split.
I had a used 71 Z in college back in the mid-1990s.
Unfortunately I totalled it. Miss that car even today.
First car I ever financed was in 76. It was a 71 307 camaro like this one but a 3 speed ont he floor. $1700 back then.
Half that price would be to much for all the hidden suprises
The 70 split bumper Camaro is the 2nd best looking Camaro just behind the 69.
Why does every other Camaro have Z28 emblems on them??? If it's not a real Z28 don't put the emblems on it!!!!!!
I agree. It’s insulting to real Z28’s.
At this price, its a good deal , from the underneath shots it looks super solid 😊
Good looking Camaro!!! 👍👍
What a shame to have a 307 in a split bumper car!

I’d just replace the engine to an 350 or better. Crate engines are pretty cheap
@@marty5782… 350 Jasper has 300hp … and a better warranty than a Chevy crate motor !!!

@@rjwintl yeah true I was just throwing out ideas
The molded spoiler is incorrect, but I still love that car. Also, I didn't know that the Z28 of that year came with a 307.
They didn't
@@mikelane1399 Oh I know. I was just trying to tiptoe around the fact that it's not an actual Z28.
Title for the video says Camaro not z28
@@Tartan1206 Earlier today is showed Z28. It has changed since then.
Z/28 in 1970 to 1972 came with the solid lifter LT1 350.
In 1973 Z/28 came with the L82 350 and for the first time with A/C.
It needs everything... 😅
2nd generation Cam's are the best
❤
Might check the suspension on that back right side... Beautiful car though .. If I was in the position to do anything, I would be calling on it.
hello Nick... ah the camaro😍, the front of this model is simply amazing ✌🏻🇺🇸🇧🇷

1970 ,chevy camaro fun fact:the copo style rear spoiler wasnt a option til march of 1970,i think it was march
Nice old Camaro
HEY NICK, YOU SURE THAT HORN BUTTON ISN'T ON THE TURN SIGNAL LEVER ON THAT 82 MUSTANG, THAT'S WHERE FORD PUT THEM. GEORGE FROM CINCINNATI.

That’s a nice ride needs a little tlc but yeah it would make a cruiser.
Another cream pull from maple motors put set of star wheels ud be the all the talk at the car meet show.
307 in that car is a sin IMO
What an awesome ride!
Love 💘 split bumpers
Split bumper my fav😊....she has some potential for sure! 454 would set her off😁
She does have a set of split bumpers screwed on, but she's not a split bumper car !...

Good looking Camaro, smoking a lil bit great video
Nice car, but that 307 is done son!!!!
Classic.
25.900 for an automatic with a 307
I have seen this car before.
If that is a 307 then it isn't the original engine. 1970 z28's had a LT1 V8 350 corvette engine
Horn blows !!
Sweet ride, 🔥👍 Nick this should sell quick 💯
it has the turbo 350 transmission,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Love it!😍
I love ❤️
