Police EMS? What???
Nice catches. Never seen a Furion before. Unusual rig, at least to my eyes anyway. The cab reminds me of a British 1970s Dennis R series from the side. Yes, I'm British.
Thanks! They are not very common. They were only produced for a few years and were not very popular. Definitely unusual looking.
That kme tower is sexy, but that spartan is just a hideous rig
awesome video!! love the rescue, and the alternate whelen on Ladder 4! sweet thumbnail too!
Thank you!
No body wants to watch vehicle's with light's and sirens go by
I don't understand what compels somebody to write a comment like this. It's like going to a sports stadium and saying that nobody likes the home team while surrounded by their fans.
Why does the police have an ambulance?
Because they provide emergency medical services.
@@LowHudEmergency yeah but you would think that would be a separate entity
@@vadimbanner2024 Police-run EMS is not common, but it is the case in Greenburgh.
Lol
So is a police ambulance the same as a normal ambulance?
Travis Secoy EMS is usually handled separately, which I’ve worked or under the banner of an FD, however this is east coast & NY, so that jurisdiction probably placed EMS under the PD. Someone please clarify for us and thanks, also does anyone know if it’s BLS or an ALS unit?
Rob Tinsley I would assume it is BLS
@@jack.stawasz Thanks, as an EMT-P, I worked mostly ALS as well as on the " fire" side.
Yes, it's just a normal ambulance run by the police department. It's not common around here either, it just happens to be the case in Greenburgh. It is actually an ALS ambulance, hence the "A" in its designation. If it were BLS, it would be "59B1" according to the county-wide system for designating EMS apparatus. Thanks everyone for watching!
Nice catch, those are some really class rigs!!
Aw, gee, I think Rescue 3 is kinda cute. Come to think of it, maybe that's the problem...
it is a cute little truck
were the unmarked cars police or battalion/cheifs?
Those were chiefs.
Well... that was awesome! Especially liked Rescue 3's response, awesome catches.
Thank you!
Love the KME ladder at the end! If only you caught Hartsdales ladder again! it’s a beautiful truck😍
I'm sure I'll catch it again at some point. It wasn't on this assignment and unfortunately their engine went a different way. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Loved all of the horn usage. Really enjoyed it
Thank you!
Awesome job man!
Thanks!
Love the air horns on the rescue.
Thanks for watching!
A couple things I noticed the fire chiefs SUV are always unmarked. Is that the thing in NY? I also noticed that the police are handling the EMS calls?
The first chief car actually has ghost lettering, but it's hard to tell. It's more common among the career departments around here (which these departments are), where the chief position is more administrative and they only respond to larger incidents. A lot of these departments, like Hartsdale, have a fully lettered command vehicle that is operated by the highest-ranking officer on duty - usually a deputy chief. That's the vehicle that responds to everyday alarms. In other departments, like Fairview and Greenville, the officer just rides the apparatus. On the other hand, most of the volunteer departments around here have fully marked chief cars for all of their chiefs. And yes, police-run EMS is unusual, but that's how they do it in Greenburgh. GPD provides primary 911 service to the unincorporated portions of the town and additionally provides ALS fly-car service to the town's six villages, which all have either their own ambulance corps, or fire department-run ambulances. Hope this answers your questions and thanks for watching!
ladder 4 and car 2171 have different sounding sirens
Ladder 4 is using the whelen alternate wail
Yes, Ladder 4 was using a Whelen siren and Car 2171 was using a Feniex siren. Thanks for watching!
The truck at 0:50 looks like a little baby! :) Great catches anyways!
Thanks!
nice catch tonight stay safe to all you guys
Thanks!
Awesome catches! That old KME is sexy!
Thanks!
GREAT GREAT VIDEO DEFINITELY IN THE TOP OF MY FAVORITE LIST!!!👍👍🚒🚑🚓
Thanks!
Why is Fairview Rescue 3 so small?
Because anything larger wouldn't fit in the firehouse.
Nice catches
Thanks!
Amazing video man!
Thank you!
God that fairview rescue 3 rig was ugly
the nasty Japanese truck
Dipping and Whipping it’s not japanese...
