If you save the lint and toilet paper, and paper towel rolls you can make fire starters and sell them for 4 or 5 bucks each. It's a good way to make money from trash. Get a candle from dollar tree and a roll of jute string. Cut the cardboard toilet paper rolls in half paper towels ones cut in 4 parts. Fold one end in stuff with lint a 4" piece of string then fold the other side in. After you make a bunch of these melt the candle in a sauce pan from the thrift store. Dip each roll in the wax place on wax paper to cool. You have made a fire starter. If there is a camping ground near you take these there talk to the owner in the office and offer to sell them to them for 4 bucks each they can then sell them to the campers for 5 bucks. I have had really good luck doing that. I am having relatives save this stuff for me, as the camp grounds run out fast then I can save up and make them.
Definitely a fire hazard you’re supposed to clean the filter after each dryer load in case you didn’t know . That is really dangerous. Please try to remember.💕👍🏽
I clean the lint off my lint trap after every load from the dryer. I’m scared of a fire and the clothes take longer to dry when it’s full. And we clean the trap door outside a lot too because it also gets clogged. 😊
You also need to check the vent tube (the plastic or metal foil tube that comes off the back your dryer and connects to the wall) -if your lint tray was that blocked, you probably have lint built up in the vent tube and it can start a house fire.
Make sure it good and dry before you turn your dryer on again. And you should use a long brush to get any lint down inside there too. Never let it go like that because 85% of house does are from dryer vents that are full of long like that.!!😮
1. How long...never mind, but seriously, ya'll helping keep that Fire Department in business. 2. Why would you "wash it" like that? 3. That dryer about to explode because it's probably never been able to operate correctly for so long, it might just have a mental break down.
You’re supposed to do that everytime so it doesn’t get like that

Should clean after every use. It's can be dangerous to let it go that long.

OMG wow girl I clean mine out before and after every time I use it
The vigorous scrubbing! …. So extra!
You gotta take that lint out every time you throw a load into the dryer.

It’s not I checked but thanks for the reminder!
She’s trying to burn her house down
You do this every time to prevent fires. Don't wait until it builds up like that smh

You’re so lucky that hasn’t caught fire
Oh Wow did it take your clothes forever too dry ?
Um. You're supposed to clean it every time.
Thank.God no fire!
AMEN
You could have caused a fire..you clean it each time
No, mine is not like that. I clean it after each load.
Love y'all! ❤
Nope learned a long time ago that, that’s why your clothes take longer to dry and if you don’t clean out the vent it can cause a fire
Awesome job Theresa enjoy vlogs . keep shining growing.😊 Hugs Taylor Joy Journey Jill Jeremy Much 💖 always
You suppose to change vent after each drying cycle to prevent a 🔥
Fire starter :/
Glad you noticed ❤
Idk if you know but you just gotta take off any lint after every dry and you dont have to scrub it or nothing!
Start cleaning that once a week could cause a fire.😮😮
Omg

You only did half of the job. There is still lent down there
I dont have a dryer. Clothesline in warm weather and laundry mat in winter. Wonder what the dryers look like in the laundry mat?😱
I know right! They probably filthy!
@@teresaplusfive not if they want to stay in business, all that lint can cause a fire, or carbon monoxide poising.
GIRRRL No you suppose to empty it every time you put a load in your dryer. Fire hazard .
The scrubbing is unnecessary but wipe it out each time? This is rage bait posting. Gotta be
