You can't definitely define Greece a vegetarian country lol. I'm a climber and I go every year to Kalymnos and I advice to try their local goat in tomato sauce...delicious.
In fact Greek cuisine has huge number of vegetarian foods since Greeks used to eat animal meat one day per week. And yes, eggs and cheese and yogurt often but vegetarians eat those (vegans is different) (and I am referring to mountainous Greece here, since coastal Greece would eat more fish)
Akis starts all his cooking with a red union :) maybe we will change our mind on onions, after learning that onions/capers have a compound called "Quercetin" which will helps to prevent the virus from replicating in our body cell. He should start exporting that Grass fed meat. It will get twice as much in Germany as he will get in Greece. Greeks haven't yet caught up with the vast difference between grass fed and corn fed.
