Watching this from start to finish really shows how creative you are Ina. Seeing it finished one would never guess all the little bits and pieces that make up this beautiful seahorse. I love this piece.
Thanks so very much Lyn. Always nice to see you here. : ) It's a bit like a puzzle to find the right pieces and placement and I love the process.. Glad you like it too.
You amaze me Ina...this is so wonderful. How the heck you come up with something so beautiful out of bits and pieces of stuff! I love how you handled this little seahorse...magic!!!
Thank you so much Denise. I so appreciate your encouragement. It means a lot coming from a great artist like you. I just enjoy fiddling around with these odd bits until they fit, like a puzzle. : )
I am late to the party, but OH how I LOVE this piece, it is definitely one if my favorites! The challenge of putting dimensional pieces on a flat surface with a defined edge is the kind of mind puzzle I love and you pulled it off brilliantly! I will never tire of watching your metallic wax and glaze magic, I swear I am gobsmacked every time, like I have never seen it before...I love everything. 💜
Thank you so much ChrisAnn. Never too late. LOL Seahorse was an experiment with a different kind of background. I think it worked. Tinkering with all those little bits was so much fun and I do like the painting part too. Pleased that you like the finish I created. Take care : )
This is awesome! I have a deep connection to seahorses and your interpretation is so good. To see the transformation of all the colorful plastic pieces to such a grand creature is something special. Great work as always but this one is special to me.
Your seahorse turned out wonderful. You always manage to process the simplest parts and create a work of art from them. Thank you for the inspiration and I wish you a nice weekend. ❤👍 Hugs vom Tinchen
Thank you so much Tinchen. This one was really mostly trash and quite a puzzle, but I love the process. So please that you enjoyed it too. Have a great week. Hugs : )
It is getting more fall-like here in Northern California too, my fav time of year. The seahorse is fabulous! I love to watch your process & the outcome.
Thank you very much for your kind comment Vincent. I am so happy that you like my art.I hope that you will find many more projects here on my channel which you will enjoy. : )
Love it love all your stuff the first one I saw though I thought what are you put it all in color for I like it how it was I like how they looked before you put them on color on but it's beautiful afterwards thanks for sharing
Welcome and thank you so much Kathy. Sometimes I don't paint my assemblages ,esp.if they are made from interesting little treasures. But these trash projects just please me more after painting. Glad you like my art. : )
I started to try a mixed media box applied my pieces and painted them (backwards I see now). Can I still put Gesso over the whole thing ? Whiteor black! Don’t have black so can I mix in some pack paint? I love all your creations and think I am hoped :-)) Gail
Yes .you can go over anything with another coat of gesso . Paint can work too ,but gesso is a primer and works better, esp. if you will be adding more coats on top. Now there is a limit on paint and gesso coats on anything. as the stability can be compromised if it's too thick. Thank you Gail for enjoying my art.
Ina, I had no primer or paint on at all before I started applying trinkets. Then I painted some things and then decided I didn’t know what I was doing and looked up your video. I see now your supposed to put on a primer, let dry, then add your items. Then put your coats of Gesso or whatever all over & let dry! Can I still do that since I already painted the items? I wish I could show u a picture b4 I ruin it or can just leave like it is ! Gail
@@Scorpio-me1028 You can always redo/repaint things. I would, esp. if you are not satisfied with the way it looks now. Not having a primer ,before you added your items is ok, it just makes it a big harder when you apply your top coat, as you have to get down into all the little valleys etc. But it can be done.
As always, another great project from you, Ina. I love this. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching Shan😊. I am pleased that you like this project. : )

Большое спасибо Лена. Мне очень приятно, что вам нравится сочетание всех цветов с морским коньком. Это был эксперимент. :)
