Now I’m a 1st year and was told we wouldn’t get any of the main parts we would just play ensemble members. HOWEVER our singing teacher sat us down and said she would be working on audition songs with us next week because they are going to cast understudy’s but also our head of performing arts says she wants the best of the best so if a 1st year does it better than a second year she would low-key cast them (for any role apart from Wonka and Charlie) I’m super excited now and think I want to audition for Violet Beauregarde! We don’t know if they’re going to make the auditions self tapes or in person yet so I’ll keep you updated!

ok so i had my auditions for grease a few hours ago and i ate the dance section uppp like literally almost everyone in the 4th group (i was like 6th group outta like 9 group of 5 or sum) did not eat and highkey only 2 outta the 15 ppl after me ate lmao. i already do dance and included all my experience on the audition paper so ya they can tell im fr. like i ate tge combo uppp trust.
ok for singing i think i did pretty good. like i feel like i was on the same singing level as most people who auditioned but i think my voice got a lil quieter at the end. i think. or maybe it was just the piano (hopefully 😍). but lemme tell u one of the ppl in my group is not gonna get shit i actually feel bad he thought he ate but at least he tried to swallow ykwim. theres this other girl who also sung the same song as me who was right after me. ok so this girl i think lowkey hated me last year a lil but the last time we talked like she answered a question for me and it was all chill. anyways before the dance part she was like does anyone have a hairtie and i was like ya so i gave her mine and she was like can i keep it and i was like ya sure. so ya ig we interacted a tiny bit after that just to get in order for auditions but ANYWAYSSS: i think she did pretty good yk like prob the same level as me but she is in chior and im not so yk there that ig. but the director was like “good job (her name)” so im just like oop yk like was i not good but nah thats bs ik i ate that up yk like maybe me and a lotta other ppl lowkey sounded the same but whatever yk. anyways the last girl in the group is a senior snd she was a lead last year so idk if she’ll get a lead part this year or not. grease has pretty limited roles ykwim so she might get one of the main ones but theres other rly talented ppl that could get the other ones as well yk. but anyways ykw it doesnt matter we wouldnt know for like idk a week i think so ya anyways imma listen so these ppl make me be a lead yk even frenchy ykwim (bc she doesnt rly sing yk) and also to get abs and shit yk lol
