I love the crystals grow on his back, that’s an awesome small detail, and they make him bleed when they grow. Also, Almaz: Diamond. Another small things I noticed are the wings on the crystal, cause she is missing her wings which it seems Carnival has taken (sorry I misgendered Almaz at first aaa) A new theory to add to this after watching Brightgoat’s new video, Buttercup, featuring Fern! I see this “cat” called the Creator with a flesh tail that reminds me of the flesh at the end of this video and has me wondering if the Creator is somehow in relation to it all and Carnival
Wild theory: Carnival took advantage of Almaz when they were on drugs amd cut off their wings so now Almaz is dying from OD and bleeding out. It's definitely wrong but that's the vibe I got aside from just being trippy 😅
RaiOfSunshine my theory is that (by watching her other animations run rabbit and unsustainable and reading the descriptions) from unsustainable there's "the code"'. then in this one there's this "world". and then in run rabbit there's this sort of asylum? so what i'm guessing is that the people who are in the code don't know how to get out, and if they do get out they're immediately put in an asylum. if they escape the asylum then they get to this world. in run rabbit the main character in that animation (the jabberbeak) sees a picture of brighttail and next to it it says "the protagonist". what if brighttail was the first to escape and that's why she's "the protagonist". i also think that carnival made the code, and that's why he's taking almaz's wings. idk just a lil theory.

It might just be you improving the character design but if its not I'm pretty sure that's Carnival disguised as Almaz since yellow is Carnival's colour. In this world, its suggested that Almaz is a high authority figure of some sort so Carnival can do a lot of things unquestioned by getting rid of Almaz and disguising herself as her. How did she get rid of Almaz? I think Carnival knew the side effect of having her wings removed so she took them and let the crystals completely overtake her body and then used her as a chair. Another piece of evidence is that in 'cacoethes', Almaz didn't have her wings yet she was perfectly fine? no crystals growing outta her or anything. Which suggests that its Carnival instead of Almaz

I think that 0:36 the two sides of the crystal show Almaz being good and being saintly in the left, as in she pursues it with grace, but the other one shows her pursuing it out of desperation and potentially blind obsession with Carnival.

Everything is flawless! The animation is so smooth The lip syncing was perfecto The art is so realistic but at the same time, cartoony and its great! The colors show so much of it The shading is awesome The characters have their own looks of perfection, Everything is so awesome and smooth!
using real photos for background assets is one of my favorite things to see in 2d art and animation but i don’t find many artists who do it 😭😭 this work is truly a blessing to find

A beautiful piece of art. Absolutely stunning. Things I noticed: At 0:17, there's a carnival mask on the pill bottle's label. Carnival can also be seen during the smoking and liquor bit. So is it safe to assume that anything regarding pills and addiction is connected to the tiny yellow cat? Life of the party and all that? Why does Carnival have the diamond cat's wings? I have so many questions... Edit 1: Carnival also appears briefly at 0:03 and 0:09. Edit 2: It's subtle, but in the hourglass scene at 0:25,along with the eyes and the wings, the diamond cat's patterns change into hearts?? Does anyone else notice this?
And now I noticed something else. Watch between 0:03-0:05 and put it at 0.25x speed. Look at when the martini glass spills and it morphs into Almaz the diamond cat.
This is wild- The colors, smooth animation , funky visuals and just everything about it I love how everything fits the song so well, and the amount of personality the environment has Amazing 💚3💜

god, I just love how far you have come since 2018. This is still one of my favorite videos from you. the character development and the viewer getting more and more insight into the characters and what they went through and lost is amazing. The vibe here is unsettling and comforting at the same time. I love this so much! It's smooth, the drawings are trippy, the way the drink turns into a body of water, and the smoke turns into a cat! AAAAA- The vibe is just so cool!!!

Things I noticed:
At 0:17, there's a carnival mask on the pill bottle's label. Carnival can also be seen during the smoking and liquor bit. So is it safe to assume that anything regarding pills and addiction is connected to the tiny yellow cat? Life of the party and all that?
Why does Carnival have the diamond cat's wings?
I have so many questions...
Edit 1: Carnival also appears briefly at 0:03 and 0:09.
Edit 2: It's subtle, but in the hourglass scene at 0:25,along with the eyes and the wings, the diamond cat's patterns change into hearts?? Does anyone else notice this?

And now I noticed something else. Watch between 0:03-0:05 and put it at 0.25x speed. Look at when the martini glass spills and it morphs into Almaz the diamond cat.
