Overall I liked your comments. Have to say though that the "bass solo" that was criticized, was not a solo at all. It was played that way on the studio version of the song. It was just a break in the song she (Sawa, I think) replicated. Like everyone else in that band, she is a great player. Seek out her bass part in the song Suicide, live from 2012. Again not a solo, but part of the song. Thanks
In case nobody has mentioned this to you, Marina (the drummer) is the step-daughter of Terry Bozio, who used to be the drummer for Frank Zappa, among other acts. Oh, and the performance can't be that old because Marina didn't become the drummer until 2016, I believe.

@@dennisa4039 Yeah its just a matter of taste ...I got to know Aldious when its was Rami n Aruto .... I needed quite a bit of time to get to Re:NO ...then Aruto up left n got married lol

Rami was a better belter and Re:No has a bit of a poppier sound to her voice, but I still prefer Re:No. I am looking forward to their new EP coming out late Nov. I already pre-ordered it. I am just tired of people comparing every girl metal band to Baby Metal. I don't hate them, but to me Baby Metal are a manufactured gimmick act more then a band.
The thing about baby metal is that they were thrown into the mainstream for no reason and got popular off it, whereas bands like Aldious and Band Maid, who are both better bands, deserve it much more. Babymetal was a gimmick from the start. They even got action figures right out of the gate, But Aldious and Band Maid have been doing it for years and killing it. I'd go see either of those bands over BM any time.
Like the band, but I find the singer a little "weak" for my personal tastes. Band Maid is still my favorite. Have you listened to Love Bites? They're pretty powerful sounding.

I like Bandmaid. I'm just new to Aldious but there music is great to. I have not skipped a song on there playlist. I mostly listened to songs fronted by Reno. I liked her vocals but it's to bad she got sick.

Problem is Babymetal is a gimmick where as Aldious is a real band. Not dumping on Babymetal, but it is more of a gimmick act then an actual band.
