What size font did you use? Also, my granddaughter is away in college now and I have purchased her a wraparound towel robe for getting out of the shower. I’m thinking of embroidering her name on it. Could you suggest a nice font and size for this project. I am a newbie and visits your site mostly - because I love what you do. I learned a lot from you and now I need to practice what I’m learning. You’re a fantastic teacher 😊
I used a 2 inch and sized it down a bit depending on the size of the name.

The information is in the video decription. I used 2 inches and sometimes stuck it down a bit to fit if the name was too long.
So darling! I have a Q: Doing an heirloom stocking on my single needle, it has a flippable cuff it’s thin white cotton with thin white cotton lining. I told the customer I will 7ndo the side seam so I have more control & can lay it flatter. Should I remove the white cotton lining too or do you think it will embroider fine through the 2 thin white cotton fabrics? 😅 I’ve never used sticky stabilizer with 2 layers of cotton fabric 😢
You can embrioider on the linen as well. Place pins so the fabrics don't shift on you.

I like to use Organ Needles
I think you are confusing a flat-bed and a single needle free arm. My Brother Persona is a single needle free arm machine just like a multi-needle.
I referred to both machines.
