- Chapter One: The Gathering was the ultimate celebration. Relive the magic with our feature-length after film.
The language used in the opening and closing ceremony was rebuilt from a lost Celtic language itself, a fragment from even older tongues. We are extremely grateful to Carolyn Hillyer and Nigel Shaw from Seventh Wave for bringing us these beautiful chants.

When I found myself homeless and in a bit of a rut, a close mate said the were vacancies , I offered to volunteer as a bin man, whixk was a good back workout to say the least. Any way now I worked my way up and gave got a paid role. It's totally next level. Living the dream. Big up yourself and remember there could be anything round the next corner!.. Got to say that I am really looking forward to Chapter 2 .. I was a huge fan of the chapters that have gone before and do miss the long walks between stages but this new format works for me.. I hope there is less dust this year but other than that I can honestly say boomtown is the best festival I have ever seen. Now many months later videos like this just drop me back into that great feeling of humanity.

Great festival with amazing production and and positive ethos around sustainability.....just a shame some people didn't put in as much effort taking their shit home and leaving the place as they found it. Hopefully next year people will be more conscientious and buy into the organisers ways of thinking around the impact people have on this space.....and others
For the amount of money people paid for such a tiny little festival with no headliners not even showers etc people shouldn’t have to take it home they can use the extra 250 quid on top of what I paid for to clean up cause there was no more than 50 quids worth of festival there! Absolute shit show man anyone that thinks that’s decent hasn’t been to anywhere else 100%
@ben young I get a sense you weren't happy with your boomtown experience. You live and you learn mate....maybe try somewhere else next time that helps you feel like your hard earned money was better spent
@@bignige7979 yea I won’t be going back there again that’s for sure. I mean if they actually had some bins that weren’t overflowing with grimey rotten rubbish a lot of people would prob try to keep it a bit cleaner but when even the staff don’t care why should the attendees

No good artists well not compared to anything around the same price. Was absolutely tiny even smaller than boardmasters that costs 1/3 the price. Way to hot and not a single arena under any type of cover. Toilets that were just biffa bins with a wooden seat on. No showers unless you paid extra. Vip area with nothing other than a cheese toastie shop with no cheese, security robbing and ransacking tents, people dying no medical help the list goes on. Just didn’t think it was anywhere near boomtown levels, feel like I paid for Glastonbury and got something I can get in my local town for free

@@benyoung1224I honestly don’t know where you spent your weekend. Because from my experience boomtown 22 was fucking class. Sound security, amazing stages with a top draw speaker system. Dope artists, killer vibes, weather was on point! skin everywhere 👙and not 1, I mean not ONE bit of trouble I saw all weekend.
Plus, they created the perfect stages to go to and chill out in during the day! Sand, reggae, shade…..
I’ve done good number of big parties and this was my first boomtown…..and it took the top spot very fucking quickly! 🪩
