Great that you found a product that gives you the safer way to travel! It is a really cool system. We noticed when you were recording in the house that Danny's voice has an echo in it. @@RVAmerica The issue might be Right and Left Channel. I use DaVinci Resolve for editing, and like all the voice recording to be on a mono track. I have learned that changing the track from "Stereo" to "Mono" it selects only the left channel and discards the right. I now keep the track set to "stereo" and set the separation width to zero. Hope this makes sense. - Jim... P.S.: The Røde mics have on-board recording. That feature has saved my butt more times than I can count!
Ron looks down at it while we are driving but I ask him not tonandnjustbto tell me it is just so far down and not the best view but good at a glance to make sure tow is good. We are actually looking fornandash cam and our phone is small for maps and it has fallen before so what you shared is an amazing option!!!@@RVAmerica
How neat you guys found something so handy. Hope it works out great when you get it into the rig. We all find something we like to make our travels easier. It is amazing how different we setup our rigs. We are setting for dedicated devices so we do not have to worry about connectivity issues. Our driver side of the rig is mostly tech free. We use a tablet running only CoPilot RV for navigation. The tech is on Pearls side so not to distract the driver (Me) with any tech issues. Happy Travels, Jim
I guess I’m just too ‘old school’…not real crazy about windshield suction mounted devices at all after both of my $400 GoPros hit the dash after the sun dried out the suction cup. In y’all’s case the suction cup ‘did’ bring the car play a lot closer to your view, but, I’m one of those ‘bolt it down’ kind of guys! When I get my new vehicle soon I get a headache just thinking about how it’s going to be quite the dilemma to mount my CB & GMRS radios, GMRS node [to talk all over to country], 300watt inverter, and, fans all into one box on the console between the seats to keep that equipment cool…especially with me being a wire hiding freak like I am! Lol! Safe travels!
Being close enough to see is awesome. The phone was so far back. You will have an issue with all those wires. Lots to figure out. I have faith in you. You will get it. We have had our dash cam fall a couple of times from the suction cup. Safe travels. 😊
@ The wires are the least of my worries…they can be coiled up and secured with zip ties….the only worry I have is getting the GMRS node, 300watt inverter, fans, and, my NETGEAR router/hotspot all in the console box. The GMRS radio has a detachable faceplate and can be installed on the dash somewhere and the radio main body can be mounted under one of the seats. The CB radio I haven’t thought about much yet. I’ve already got all the equipment and parts…I just need the lawyers to call me to come pick up my settlement check so I can buy the vehicle!

I like to use the satellite view with google earth. Can you make the satellite view project on that screen?
It does do satellite view on Google Maps. We just checked. Not something we had thought about. Great question. Safe travels.
Our next investment will be a way to have 360 degree cameras for both travel and security when we are stopped
