  • This video shows the process of adjusting the limit switches on the Powerwinch P92001 electric lift.
This model is commonly found on most modern popup campers (2015+) with the Goshen lift system.
This will fix any issues with the full door not fitting due to the roof not raising fully.

This is excellent, as are all your other videos. We have a 2022 Rockwood 2280 ESP and there are only 2 other RUclipsrs with useful comments on that, or similar, models, that I've found, so your tips are great! In our first month of ownership, the roof would not go high enough to install the door and we had some other issues as well. The dealership we purchased from is half a days drive away but we have an RV dealership where we live that is part of the same company and we had been assured they would take care of us. But we learned that most RV technicians know next to nothing about tent campers and hate working on them. (We're in British Columbia Canada.) That's a shame because we love our camper, but boy, has it been a huge learning curve. If it wasn't for channels like yours we would be lost. The pro certified tech we took our camper to said there was nothing wrong with our roof. He explained (as if talking to a dummy) that it has a "limit switch" and it's supposed to stop it from going any further. He had no idea it was adjustable, and at that point, I didn't either. I asked him if he put the door in and he said no, and seemed to think that was a dumb question. Apparently all our concerns were " user errors" and we were told that they don't sell tent trailers and don't work on them. Eventually, we found a local fellow who DOES understand tent trailers and he showed us how to adjust the limit switch, exactly as you set out in your video. Please keep this great information coming. Every one of your videos has helped us!

Thank you very much for watching my videos! I'm really glad they are helping others such as yourselves. Unfortunately we have that exact same problem in my area, nobody will repair a tent trailer even if you bought it from them. That's why I decided that I would focus solely on them. If you ever have any video requests or any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll always try my best to help out!

We are still on the step in which we are decreasing the limit switch and have turned it prob 100 times and we are not getting a clicking, still moving up and down. What could the potential problem be here?

There can be situations when you have to turn it for a while. I will normally lift the roof back up and keep turning. It should eventually stop. If you reach another 100 turns and it still doesn't work, I would inspect the small plastic gear located on the limit switch. I have seen them slide over, making it unaligned with the metal gear. This would cause the limit switch to not work at all.
