The Speed Addiction I have Dom 1.5xtr 10cm 3” inlet on the STI in my picture. It’s on a built motor with bc 272 cams, GSC valve train, and of course on flex fuel. It’s the ultimate daily driver in my opinion. I drive it in the snow and all. Keep up the great content!
Another great video mate.. Amazing how beefy these Subaru's sound..very good build and turbowagon likes breaking things i think :) but much respect to all concerned
This generation outback/legacy has a rear suspension design that is unique to these models. Sti hubs cannot be mounted. Nobody has figured out an affordablr work around yet. There is a thread on legacygt.com discussing it
@@dub537h5 yes you can. I did the EXACT swap for my 05 XT. That 6 speed is soooooo much better than the 5! It also has a taller 6th gear. You'll lower your cruising speed RPM's by around 1k.
“Have you ever seen a tuned outback before …have you ever seen a built outback before?”
Yep, I drive one every weekend.
It’s called living your best life 😀
@@TheSpeedAddiction haha yep. I’ll upload a video of mine here soon.
I bought a 1998 outback legacy and it’s fun but I want to turbo it for fun
@@jackwells4964 Enjoy, but remember that adding power will decrease engine longevity..

Nice setup definitely a sleeper. That turbo makes it much faster than a bolt on turbo STI with Flex Fuel. That turbo completely transforms everything.
It’s a heavy car though..
The Speed Addiction Oh wow I just google the weight. Didn’t realize they where that heavy. Still pretty cool setup.
It is significantly faster at higher speeds

@@Dave-so7sf yeah, with the STI gearbox, trailer hitch, and a full tank of gas it was around 3800. So, figure 4050 with me in it...

Thanks Bruv! You know there's more to come!!
Did you Upgrade your Fuel Pump Wiring to get these Numbers? I'm having a Fueling Issue at Top RPM. Think it's the Fuel Pump Voltage causing it🤷♂️
Please ask the owner on Instagram @turbowagon
I did not, what year is yours
Nice !! im building one myself. where did you get that pillar gauge pod?
Ask the owner on Instagram @turbowagon
Beautiful 🥰
Yes it is..
Why can't the sti hubs be used in the rear?
The Outback has different axles than the Impreza
@@TheSpeedAddiction i was going to swap all spec b stuff into my 09 obxt. I can use the rear hubs from that right?
I’d double check with the owner instagram.com/turbowagon/?hl=en
