Hi Markus. This is a really hearty looking dish. I love your sparerib, beans and bacon one pot. The Pork ribs are such a great idea. The bacon and Maple syrup just looked like it enhanced the end product. I make something similar to this at home, and it's always a hit. Good morning Sef! You are right. This dish is pretty close to a chili. In Germany most people use ground meat. Using something else like ribs or brisket is not very popular. I never used baked beans in a chili. But the idea is great. I made one with chick peas while I was in South Africa. This one is also worth a try. Have a great weekend All the best Markus
