a fellow fisherman eh. I have never tried fly fishing. Any recommendation on a good telescopic spinning rod? In the market for a medium power one. I want something portable for backpacking. Currently using a 4 piece UL rod but wanted to aim for bigger fish lol.

@@DrivenByJason I never used a telescopic pole. I know backcountry fly fishing for native trout is a thing. 2wt or 3wt fly rods. Those are around 7'7". Up north, steelhead and salmon would be a blast. I use my 8wt for salmon.
