The bow has good range and decent power, the spear is strong, but costs gloom damage, I often use them as fuse materials to negate this effect. You can also get armor/food items that give resistance to it.

The horriblins in the cave leading up to the shrine are actually awesome farming spot for black horriblin horns that can be fused with the royal weapons to add 22 damage and extra durability. Use bomb plants to murder them all very quickly.
There's a bunch of black horriblins on the pathway of risen hyrule castle. Like 7 or 8 of them grouped together. Easy farming spot with a few bombs being traded off.
Have thousands of hours in BOTW got the new TOTK OLED for this one. Have not been this excited for a game in a long time. Thanks for the great content!
Does the Hylian shield and dusk bow respawn or are they gone forever once broken? I haven't found the Tarrytown guy from botw that sells stuff like that
5:11 Honestly. This is WAY harder then just finding a contruct 3 and killing it for its horn and then attaching the horn to whatever, and ending up with a MUCH better weapon. Ive had like 40 of them in my inventory...before i dumped them in the gotcha machines
9:33 Just do the shrine, its stupid easy. Use ascend through the pieces they give you to use.. 3 min shrine. Take you WAY long to come back to it later.

I like and dislike the durability mechanic. For me BoTW was much more fun after I got the master sword. Just having something that you know will always be available was reassuring. I wish they’d include something like that for Bows and Shields with a similar mechanic. If the Hylian shield and Bow of Light also regenerated like the master sword for example. Otherwise a guide like this to get the best weapons seems kind of pointless since they’ll just break anyway.
I use to feel like this until I learned to stop getting attached to weapons and just use what I can. It definitely took some getting use to but it definitely helped. The ONLY item I was conscious about was the Hylian Shield lmao…even more now since idk how to replace it just yet. But I have to agree having the Master Sword does make it much more enjoyable
Sorry if this was mentioned already, but I saw that you used 2 fire fruits to light the torches and just wanted to remind everyone that you can use open flames to light up your arrows, too. You can shoot through the fire or ready your bow and move close to it to light up the arrow head.

Reminder that loose items respawn every bloodmoon so mark that spot as a reequip zone.

6:45 Use an item with a zonaite flame thing on it. Save your fire fruits for later on, youll wish you had.
In the library(where the kings study is) you can light the unlit braziers and a chest spawns with a gold rupee in it
