Its about chasing experiences and finding interest in life. Some love it but some find no need for it, like people who don't understand people spending money to go overseas etc
Same logic as "I don't get why my friends would pay to go to a gym to exercise / hire a PT / join classes when they can exercise for free." It's about preference isn't it? Why go to a football game at a stadium live when you can watch it at home which is more comfortable? Why watch football at all when it's 90 plus minutes of your life just 'gone' or 'wasted'? Why travel when you can see photos and videos from the comfort of one's home? Why are youth into Kpop even when the culture is so toxic? Why?
And that's why Taylor Swift is a billionaire. Concert organiser making her concert so expensive because they know people will pay for it. It seem the two girls cannot justify blowing their budget but instead say they will go to Hawker stall to eat cheaper food to cover for their over spending on tickets, hotels etc.

it prompts the question of why Mr Tong has not issued a POFMA correction direction against the Bangkok Post for publishing what he claims to be a falsehood.
@martinbrock713 In clarifying the Thai PM's remarks, Chai, the Govt spokesperson said on Tuesday "the tone and meaning that the PM has used when (talking) about this issue, were not to criticise or express jealously towards Singapore.
@martinbrock713 "Our agencies negotiated an arrangement with her to come to Singapore and perform and to make Singapore her only stop in Southeast Asia" said Lee when asked. It has turned out to be a very successful arrangement.
Minister Edwin Tong disputed claims by Thai PM Srettha about Taylor Swift’s concert deal costs, stating the actual amount is much lower than reported. Despite this, no POFMA correction has been issued against Thai PM Srettha or the Bangkok Post, which reported on his claims.
@martinbroock713 Singapore's proposal was an approach that shows they dared to think and dared to do it, and that successfully made Taylor Swift's team agree to heav the exclusive performance in Singapore, the only country in the region. That has benefitted the country, " said Chai in Thai

Yeah instead … she should support corrupt countries who couldn’t handle the crowd? Singapore’s system works for them. They are the strongest economy in South East Asia (despite having no natural resources - they don’t even have water). They provide top notch housing and health care for their people. At least their government isn’t corrupt and they are actually enriching their country and helping their citizens. Would you rather somewhere, where the homeless are everywhere, crime is so rampant and businesses are closing? I’d rather have a government that knows what it’s doing.
Because of the strength of the SGD? Why perform elsewhere, when you can just do it all on a country with a vastly stronger currency rate, high level of security and a population with high disposable income as well. It literally makes no sense of go to any of the neighbouring countries, with the exceptions of Brunei that is,
The fact that she didn’t stop by Korea and only visited Japan as her North Asia stop would indicate she might not have planned so many stops. Singapore offered … thus it’s like getting paid for something you plan for anyway.

@sokvisalthy1048 exactly! The pt that the government made so that she only come to Singapore is so to earn the revenue from incoming tourist from all over Asia and the rest of the world. Not the earn the money of Singaporeans through an American pop star! That would be ridiculous! Imagine the sg government earning Singaporean money by inviting a foriegn band to play here and then only earning the locals money....
It shows the HK has accountability to their people unlike this gov CY Leung: HK unable to fund Taylor Swift concert Like Singapore without fund disclosure
Because Singaporean government isn’t corrupt and any move they make that loses money, they will get lots of flak. This move of theirs was clearly economically sound and well studied.

Who say? If this is analogy then don't ever travel overseas to attend anything because anything organized/held overseas should be for their ppl not u then! Don't be so selfish! Everyone has the rights to come over to see their idol!
Your country’s tourism board made a conscious decision to strike an exclusive deal with her so that ppl from all over Asia would fly into SG to come and see her. So please, blame them
@sokvisalthy1048 exactly!
@@jonjonhyper8324 you can ask sgag Xiaoming he say one okay
@@jonjonhyper8324 I can say whatever I want to say, you have no rights to tell me what to do , it’s not like you’re my boss or whatever
Over rated TS concert, boring and no skill performance, only sing and jump, no dance and no show women ship !
Sour grapes~~~🍇🤣
singapore experience sucks - no performer should play there
It shows the HK has accountability to their people unlike this gov
CY Leung: HK unable to fund Taylor Swift concert Like Singapore without fund disclosure
Because Singaporean government isn’t corrupt and any move they make that loses money, they will get lots of flak. This move of theirs was clearly economically sound and well studied.
