- Trooping the colour 2017, the official celebration of Her Majesty the Queen's 91th birthday. Over 1400 soldiers are on parade, plus 200 horses and over 400 musicians of the foot guards and mounted bands of the household cavalry.

Rund 1.400 Soldaten paradieren zu Ehren von Queen Elizabeth II., die eigentlich schon am 21. April 91. Geburtstag hatte. Begleitet werden sie von über 400 Trommlern und Musikern der vereinigten Musikkapellen der Garde-Regimenter.

Da waren noch mehr, die abgeholt wurden. Ist nur sehr geschickt von der BBC ausgeblendet worden. Daß die umkippen ist aber kein Wunder, das muß arg heiß gewesen sein unter der Mütz und wenn man dann längere Zeit steht...

Parade mit Bundeswehrsoldaten? Eine köstliche Vorstellung. Außerdem haben sie keine Zeit für solche aufwendigen Paraden, weil sie pünktlich ihre Kinder aus der Bundeswehrkita abholen müssen.

andrew look at the 1986 trooping and then today youd be imazed at how drill is gone down plus there height
Sadley that is true, and the reason is look at now and then, then they didn't deploy very often, it was mainly Training / Northern Ireland / Falklands, now they deploy for Training / Iraq / Afghanistan / UN Sudan / UN Cyprus / UN Kenya and even more, so time went and not as many people join as much as they did.. (obvious reasons)
