I’ve had my 2013 Honda Fit III 1.5L hybrid for a couple of months now and love it. Glad I chose that over the Prius as the design and internal layout of the Prius is crap compared to the Fit.
How is relieble Honda's Direct Injection System? Is it okay to use it with petrol that not optimised for direct injection engines? (with a liitle sulphur, water, and other) What's the price to repair it? Is it safe if it will broke at maneurous, when the power is extremely needed? How is relible lithium-ion battery? Is it okay to use it in cold places? (Alaska for example). What does it cost to repair the battery?, Does it less then cost of fuel? Does the litium waste is better for nature than CO2+H2O ? I-VTEC is good technology. Sport CVT - I like it. But i don't want to waste time and money to replace battery (thank's that it's optional) and replace high-pressure fuel pomp (but there is no 1.5L option without direct injection).
Some of the early CRV’s had that problem but the issues seem to have been somewhat overstated. It was mostly on ones that were driven in frigid weather (like Canadian winter weather) and not allowed to warm up first. I’ve owned 2 Fits and a Civic Si with these engines and didn’t have any problems.
I have the 2021 Honda Civic 10Th generation, no problems whatever, my Honda has the Earth Dream Technology i-VTEC, best car ever and is really good on gas.
Jimy Official Uh, the J series engines were V6’s, so they’re nothing alike. All I can speak to are the L15 motors I’ve owned. Two were NA, the current one is a turbo. No issues, no gas in my oil. People don’t take care of their car properly and then want to blame the manufacturer. Let the car warm up properly, use quality fuel, change the oil at proper intervals, don’t do hot shut downs on a turbocharged engine. It ain’t hard.
Honda and Dreams. Well Honda wake up and delivering this Hybrid to Europe. Why does it take so long. Or dream on, be lawnmower builder that used to build quality cars in the past, dream on Honda
I drive a manual now. I loved automatics over manuals, but these CVTs drive weird, not to mention the reliability issues. Another thing i wont buy is GDI engines or turbocharged engines. If Honda only makes those type of engines, ill switch to Toyota.
"Honda's direct-injected 1.5L turbo 4-cyl. Earth Dreams engine is creating a nightmare for the company as it tries to resolve a severe gasoline oil-dilution problem it says is caused by cold-weather operation." (Ward's Auto, March 2019) Reliability for Honda's 1.5 Turbo Earth Dreams has been sketchy, at best. China's government even implemented a forced stop-sale of this engine in the CR-V due to so many problems. Impressive engine? I don't think so. Honda's poorly-engineered piston ring design will more than likely compromise long-term longevity. Don't bother asking any service personnel at a US Honda dealership: You will likely get the proverbial runaround, a mishmash of half-truths and denial...
I have a 2019 accord 1.5T, I learned of this oil dilution after I bought mine. So far I dont smell gas on my dipstick. I would never of got this car if I knew this before hand. I think this engine is doing fine in the fit cause it has no turbo in that car.
@@mmwosu it's about statistics number for normal American drivers who keep cars for decade and beyond 200k miles to be said reliable. Not standard European disposable cars for only 10y/100k miles
These soundtracks remind me of Gran Turismo.
Exactly!
they were driving that Fit in a poorly rendered monaco lol

Your comparing two different cars lol
I can’t wait for the future of the CVT’s even now it’s fun just stepping on it without any lag at all.
learn how to drive standard
speed slays keep assuming asshat 😂 just kidding kid don’t get your panties in a twist
Bro your smoking shit .. cvt is trash traditional manual and even a double clutch auto is better than that u need to explore Mazda
Drive a DSG not a CVT 😭😭
They’re the worst transmissions in the market
Any automatic sucks, learn how to drive standard.
Music and sound effect make me think that i am playing an Nintendo game
Is it me or are the visuals that of a cross breed between Gran Turismo and Metal Gear cut scenes and selection menus.
I'm driving a Honda shuttle hybrid and it's awesome!
I have 2017, and the hybrid system is great!!
Honda’s “wet dreams” engine.
i was going to buy a Honda Fit 2015, before knowing about the oil dilution problem, now i'm going for old Gen2
Think that only affected the turbo engines of the CR-Vs and Civics.
Great video/visuals
Dat technology!
I am guessing the 1.3L is indirect injection and the 1.5L is direct injection?
This is pretty cool
so the hybrid fit gets a dct but not the accord sport /?
Skylin Megas CVT
accord receive plug in hybrid , more powerful hybrid motor and THEY DONT HAVE GEARBOX
The CVT is an economy transmission built for hyper-miling, you wouldn’t want it in a performance model
can we appreciate the monaco track in this rendered video?
Excelente solução! Tem previsão para chegar nos modelos brasileiros?
Honda.U r doing.great work on car..
Love the upgrade sounds. But my one doesn’t make them?
No k2.4w?

I heard these engines have problems with oil being diluted by gasoline.

earth dreams lol.

I HAVE HONDA VEZEL.
They’re driving on the wrong side
What a disaster this turned out to be. Hondas are great but not this one.
Why
Mr Yusuf the earth dreams motors have a bad oil dilution problem where fuel gets into the oil crankcase and reduces the lubricity the oil causing wear
cXr Media
Overstated issue. I’ve owned three, no problems
@@mmwosu hey man I'm looking to get one of these, is there a huge difference between the dreams engine vs regular j35?

I think CVT is here to stay. If it helps with fuel efficiency, which it apparently does, then it won't go away.
