Sent a 110. It was received on 11/25. I called on 1/16 they said ok we will sent it to a technician today!! No reason why it has taken this long and not contacting me .
I sent in a knife I bought in 1970 that my nephew damaged the back spring on. Sent them a 50 year old knife and it came back looking like new. Amazing service.
Sent in my grandfather's 1970'd 110 for a blade replacement and it came back looking brand new after about 3 weeks. Absolutely amazing experience with Buck.
Another RUclipsr posted a video where he visits the Buck factory and interviews the man who does most of the warranty repairs. He's been there for more than 40 years if I remember correctly! He was a real treat, and obviously know a thing or two, or three about knifemaking. Glad you had a positive outcome!
76 years old I finally added a 110 to my collection. Been a Buck fan for years. Probably will never need to send out for repairs but love your review in the positive! Thanks!
Buck is a Proud American Company. It makes Me proud to know that there is a company like them still around. The Buck 110 is history at your side, able and ready to perform in any situation. This was a great informative video. Thank you for your time.
A few years ago I bought a 110 at a thrift store for $10. It was in very rough shape. unfortunately I didn't know about Buck's spa treatment or warrantee. I did the resto myself and it came out very nice, but I know that Buck would have done an even better job. I'm glad that your experience was so good. 👍
Thanks for posting this video. I’ve had my 110+ since 1978. It’s been a work knife, paint scraper, and all round tool. The original blade was shot. I saw this video and sent it to Buck. It came back with a new blade and like new. I can tell it’s my same knife by the small indentations in the wood from my abusive use. They give it character. Buck has the best warranty. Period.
I had a similar experience when I sent in my father in laws old Buck 112. It took two or three months, but for the money and the result, it was worth it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Sent them a 1987 110. Blade point was broken off for years. Have them their $10 and about 3 months went by. Back and forth emails and basically said they can’t find my knife. I was livid. Idk what said but 3 weeks later I got my knife back, and yes it was the same knife, with a brand new blade. If I had not called/emailed them, I’m sure they never would have contacted me again. I love Buck knives and will continue to carry them, but that was a less than desirable experience.
It's a really nice repair on your knife. I bought a 110 at a garage sale for a buck. It was in real good shape, except someone had drilled a hole in the bolster and damaged the spring. The blade would not lock. I sent it in thinking they would find some reason to reject the repair, but they replaced the spring, cleaned, and polished, looked like new ex cept for the drilled hole. Seven bucks for the cleaning, glad to pay. Good company, great service.
I inherited a few things from my father; firearms, his desk, his pen, and more. Notoriously missing was his Buck 110. I was born in 1966 and he had that knife as long as I can remember, and he carried it and used it. I wish I had it. It has been damaged and sharpened so many times, it definitely needed a blade replacement. There is one old man a Buck that does that work. There is at least one RUclips video about him. Your video was a bit emotional for me. Thank you. I am glad you appreciate that knife and hope you enjoy it. Please use it.
Great video illustrating their service. It’s a better knife in your collection because it has a story. Those are my favorite knives, ones with a story. Glad they took good care of you!
Buck has repaired and returned two knives for me. No issues, no problems and the knives came back looking awesome! Quick turnaround time too. They stand behind their product.
That’s awesome. I just picked up a 110 with about 1/2 inch broke off tip. Got it for $3.75. Fixing to send it in. Gerber also has great warranty. I had a M600 multi-tool with 3 broke blades/tools. I contacted their warranty dept. They just needed pics emailed. 2 days later they confirmed the claim. Didn’t hear anything for 5 weeks until my new multi-tool arrived in the mail. They didn’t ask for the old one back. Told me to destroy it.
I just got mine back a couple of weeks ago. I sent it in in February. Worth the wait and worth the $10.00 for the reblade and spa treatment. I paid under $20.00 in a thrift store for it originally.
Glad the warranty worked out for you! I’ve been meaning to send my 055 in due to a warped / separating handle scale. One reason why the turnaround might’ve taken so long for you is that around the holiday season they promote and prioritize custom knife orders with short turnaround times for Christmas.
Man that’s really nice to know… I’ve got a buck 192 Alaskan Guide that I need to send in for a nice cleaning and some maintenance. I believe it was 160 something at cabelas originally… I really love this knife but an ex friend had it in his tackle box and it got soaking wet… I believe I’m gonna send it back to them and see what they can do with it…
That says a lot about the Buck Co. Good customer service is key to the success of a quality company. I think the turnaround time is acceptable and a well spent $10.00. Thanks for the video.
Hi TK, I thought I'd give you a recap of my own recent experience (2024), with a Buck 110 that I sent back to Buck for some warranty repair work. Specifically, I mailed my 110 off to Buck on January 22nd and received it back from Buck just yesterday, February 10th. This represents a turnaround by Buck of just 19 days! Granted, my knife needed a lot less of a makeover than your knife. However, I want to echo your comments and experience from a year ago. To me, Buck's customer service and warranty repair people are rock stars in the knife world and I will continue to buy and collect the USA-made Buck knives knowing they really do stand behind their products.
Great video. I have a 110 currently in for service. I also will be sending 192 Vangaurd in for the SPA treatment. Gotta love that forever warranty! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Nice job there by Buck! Yeah you've lost the provenance of the old blade but now you've got a proper blade. Good show, Buck. Thanks for sharing your experience, TK!
I requested Buck sent back the original blades on two I’ve send in. One with an anvil tang stamp and one with an etching. They returned them to me with the reconditioned knives with no argument. They’re a class act.
Zippo's warranty is like this too. When I was 8 I found a broken early 60s sterling silver zippo lighter at a junk sale. It was tarnished jet black so it was impossible to tell what era/material it was at the time, so I paid only 25 cents for it. As I grew up I managed to hold onto that thing and eventually figured out the background and that Zippo has a free forever repair warranty on their lighters. A couple years ago when I was 25 I finally sent it in. Came back a few weeks later good as new! They fixed the decimated hinge, and completely replaced the inner mechanism, which was itself an off brand one that had been put in god knows when. Worth $60-100 now.
It’s amazing that any knife company does this. My only experience with Buck’s warranty was less satisfying. I carried for several years a small Buck lock back that had wood handles and stainless bolsters. It was never abused, but one day when I pulled it out of my pocket, I discovered the back spring was broken. I had only used it for light office duties, so I never understood why the spring broke. Regardless, when I shipped it to Buck, they sent back to me an entirely different, cheaper looking model (a small stockman with plastic scales). There was no explanation offered about why my knife was not repaired or replaced with an identical model. I figured it was a discontinued model, but that experience left me disappointed. I’m glad that your experience was outstanding.
You sent it in right at Thanksgiving. They responded at Christmas. That matters. They sent you back a gem. It came out really good.... Good job Buck Knives ❤....
A friend of mine died and I found his buck 110 in his toolbox. It was destroyed so I sent it to Buck. It was returned as new.. I gave the knife to his mother.
I bought a worn out 110 off of Etsy. It came with the original leather case. I paid the money and sent it to Buck. It cmae back like brand new, with all of the old date codes. It was a grerat experience. I kind of wish I had left it as is, but what the heck - its ready to serve another life and another lifetime.
Maybe Alan was a kid when he got the knife? Comparatively recently, maybe 15 years ago I messed up my first Scandi grind as I'd never had one and didn't know how to sharpen them. Had the sense just to get a cheap Mora though. Maybe Alan is a monster for what he did to that Buck and his actions now haunt my nightmares!!!!!😂😂😂🤣. Buck did a good job on repairing your Buck, I hope you get many years of happy use from this knife and now we will never mention Alan again except in whispers around campfires but not too loudly, he may be out there, lurking.............😭
My grandpa had a folder from the 70s don't remember the model but the tip snapped off the blade. When I walked him through the warranty process they completely refurbished his knife before shipping it back.
In the Navy, the Buck 110 was a very standard knife because stands up very well against salt water. I also never was nice to my 110. After 5 years left that ship, 2 years later, I need help finding my knife. 2nd 110 had her for 5 years on my 2nd ship. When I left, the Antetam idea hit me. I would keep my 110 safes dropped in my shaving kit and forget about it. 3 years later, going to my 3rd ship, getting on the plane, my carry-on in the scanner beep beep beep (bet you would never guess what I did not pull out of my shaving kit). I got to take my 110 on the plane because I was in my Dress Blues, and I was ok to have a 3 knife with me. That was in 1999. I wonder what my 110 would have done against the box-knives the highjackers were using.
I got my first Buck 112 used back in the 70s. I loved it. I now have several buck 110s. I had 2 Buck 112s and I sent them back to the factory about two years ago. It took about 8 weeks. They turned out great. I'm glad I sent them back. I can't find the 112 at my local Walmart & stores. Does anyone know why that is or where I can get them? Awsome video thumbs up.
Someone should have shown the original owner what a hammer is.🔨 This is a knife, 🗡 and this is a hammer 🔨. 😆 Buck did a great job on that knife restoration. I still have my early 1980's Buck 110. They are a tank.
Alan has been erased and the world is better off. You have my word I'll never use it as a hammer. I'd bet your 80's Buck is probably among your sentimental favorites. Thanks William.
I sent my Buck in for a little TLC back in the third week of August. After watching video , I'm getting stoked to see it again! $10 sure beats spending more money for a new one. Just gotta remember not to use it as a pry bar, LOL
Maybe "Alan" should be used as shorthand for "person who misuses and abuses his knife?" They did a superb job. It looks so much better now that the hideously reprofiled blade is gone (that's become a real peeve of mine). I will definitely be adding more Bucks to my collection . Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Well...that ended up pretty well! I wish I could say the same about Case's warranty service! It was fairly quick but that's because they didnt do much to the knife...lol! Well done Buck!
Hell case can't get new knives out in good condition with good QC... there's zero chance they are gonna do good warranty service.. Case sadly is not what it used to be, totally different company post zippo
I love Buck the company and their knives. I don’t mean to sound like I’m slamming them, but the forever warranty has become a double-edge blade. One one side, they will fix it at anytime, forever during its life. The other side it takes forever to get it back. It used to be 4-6 weeks, but it’s now double that time frame. I’m at 12 weeks and still have yet to hear it’s repaired and shipped.
Well done vid. Good story. Hope lots of folks view your warranty return…. It says volumes on their warranty service. I’d say 3 mos was about the norm. Sometimes it takes time for fine wine!
For some reason, i feel you're pretty cool for getting such a knife and paying that kind of price and supporting people. idk. Ultimately, your experiences and your heart mean MUCH more than shrewd dealing with money here and there. Sometimes the headaches of price hunting and stuff like that aren't worth it. Unless you're dealing with some kind of long term business situation that can see exponential differences in cash flow, it's a cooler journey to simply explore experiences in the path of life and let the relatively smaller soulless concerns go.
That is about what I would expect from Buck. My Buck knives all arrived perfect and stayed perfect, so I have never had to take them up on their warranty. The only occasion I have had to use any knife company warranty service was in the middle of the pandemic when my EDC Gerber folding knife literally fell apart in my pocket. It wasn't a cheap knife, so I was not happy. After months of emailing, sending photos and general hassle, they did replace it. The new one seems even better than the old one, but I don't really trust it any more.
Wow! They did great. I love Buck knives. To me, they are above Case knives in terms of America's brand. Their quality control is much better to. I love my Case knives, but Buck is above Case in my book. Glad it turned out well for you!
Over the years I have had several Bucks and they all worked fine right out of the package and kept on working until I lost them or abused them. That sort of reliability is more important to me than a long warranty.
No need to consider what I paid, only what you will pay. You're looking at around 17 dollars to get them the knife and pay for the spa treatment with replacement blade. A new Buck 110 is in the neighborhood of 65 dollars before tax. Thanks Blackbird.
I stop by buck today 11-1-22 and had 2 old knives one liners and why I was shopping in there store they took them in the back and in about 15min they were back and look as good as the day they were made I was impressed and at no cost but I did spend a few bucks why I was there.
Lost my buck stockman many years ago and when I found it the knife looked good except that the springs were a destroyed mess . I never thought that buck could’ve fixed it
In 1985, at the NRA annual meeting & convention in Seattle, I met a young Chuck Buck. I mentioned that my much used Stockman pocket knife had taken some damage. He asked for it and my address. I handed it to him. A short time later, I received in the mail what appeared to be a new knife, except for the LD “brand” I’d engraved on one scale. Their service is the Real Deal.👍
I sent in four knives and my experience was similar, but I sent a check with my form. Two re-blades and two SPA treatments. Well worth the wait and money. I’d send more into BKI with no concerns.
You sent this out a week before Thanksgiving and a month before Christmas, when many people are out on vacation. I am surprised it didn't take longer than it did.
They did a great job. I bought my 110 at the Ft Eustis PX it was about 2013. It was sitting there with a clearance sticker $26. I was like wait what? Nylon sheath though not leather. About the same year I was in Kmart (they still sold knives then) and there was my 119 with a clearance sticker $30. No brainers.
Buck knives have an excellent warrenty service, they just can have a long turn around in my experience. They will NOT send you any parts however, not even a pocket screw or clip. You have to send it in for anything.
Please forgive the errors on the timeline. The dates in Jan and Feb. should read 2022.
why you not stipulate you wanted the old blade returned ? it was yours. i had a engine rebuilt and the guy tried to keep some parts,oh hells to the no
@@carmineredd1198 That thing was an abomination, I hope they recycled it.
Sent a 110. It was received on 11/25. I called on 1/16 they said ok we will sent it to a technician today!! No reason why it has taken this long and not contacting me .
Sure turned out awesome. That's a great knife with a history and a story. Love it.
I sent in a knife I bought in 1970 that my nephew damaged the back spring on. Sent them a 50 year old knife and it came back looking like new. Amazing service.
Awesome. So glad you had a positive experience. Thanks for sharing Beau.
That's exactly the kind of feedback you want to hear. Incredible.
Thanks for sharing that.
the blade had NEW date stamps or the same ?
Sent in my grandfather's 1970'd 110 for a blade replacement and it came back looking brand new after about 3 weeks. Absolutely amazing experience with Buck.
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback, The4cp.
Amazing service.

Yep, I've seen that video. Thanks, Ray.
76 years old I finally added a 110 to my collection. Been a Buck fan for years. Probably will never need to send out for repairs but love your review in the positive! Thanks!
Thats awesome Danny. Thanks for sharing your story.
Story?
Buck is a Proud American Company. It makes Me proud to know that there is a company like them still around. The Buck 110 is history at your side, able and ready to perform in any situation. This was a great informative video. Thank you for your time.
Well said! Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Welcome to the channel.
They are crooks they make junk knives it is my life’s goal to destroy buck knives inc.
I own a Buck only since last year but it's an amazing knife and since i bought it, it's always on my belt! Such a great classy knife! 😊👍
Classic beast. Thanks Crosswalker.
It takes some time, but the patience pays off. Thanks, Rooster.
It could be a good way to get a cheaper Buck for a collection. Buy at a flea market and then use the warranty.
Period.
Thanks so much for commenting on your experience. I always like to hear about people being well taken care of. Thanks again, Dan.
I've never had to use the warranty service. But if that's the kind of work they perform on a abused second hand knife, OUTSTANDING !!!
It really is remarkable work. Thanks Ricgard.
You said it right there, outstanding service, even on a second hand knife.
That looks great. That Buck lives on. Way better than ending up in a landfill.👍
It's a terrific knife again... a new lease on life. Thanks Steve.
I had a similar experience when I sent in my father in laws old Buck 112. It took two or three months, but for the money and the result, it was worth it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks KD. I'm happy with the results.
Sent them a 1987 110. Blade point was broken off for years. Have them their $10 and about 3 months went by. Back and forth emails and basically said they can’t find my knife. I was livid. I love Buck knives and will continue to carry them, but that was a less than desirable experience.
It worked out in the end. Thanks for the feedback, Michael
Weird. Wonder what they were thinking. Thanks, Charles.
Considering the state it was in I think Buck did a great job, well done them. Nice to hear of a company true to its word.
Gives a glimmer of hope doesn't it? A real feel good story, Lewis.
So rare nowadays, gives real kudos to a company to see something like this.
I inherited a few things from my father; firearms, his desk, his pen, and more. Notoriously missing was his Buck 110. I was born in 1966 and he had that knife as long as I can remember, and he carried it and used it. I wish I had it. Thanks very much for sharing Fernando. Lovely comment.
Great video illustrating their service. It’s a better knife in your collection because it has a story. Those are my favorite knives, ones with a story. Glad they took good care of you!
Thanks for the kind sentiments, RJ. I'm real happy with how it all came to pass. Take care.
Exactly my thoughts too as I watched this. It has a more interesting history now and a special place in the collection as a result.
Buck has repaired and returned two knives for me. No issues, no problems and the knives came back looking awesome! Quick turnaround time too. They stand behind their product.
They've done some great work for me. Thanks for watching, Barry.
I just bought a buck 110 because of this video, love this company!!
Awesome. 'Merica.
Nice video. Wow! What a Great job Buck did with your knife! What a Great looking knife!! Yea, I’d hang on to it also. Great company, that’s Buck.
Thanks very much, Francis. I appreciate you watching. Have a great day.
I worker at Buck Knives in the early 1970’s, El Cajon, California, assembled the 110. Always proud to say I worked at Buck Knives
Very cool, JLR. I'm sure that was a great learning experience.
They did a great job. Thanks for sharing your experience.
You bet. Thanks for watching, Simo.
Sent a rather worn 501 from New Zealand it came back looking and feeling like new, fabulous service, Thanks Buck well done.
That's terrific, glad you got the service you were hoping for.
Fantastic service... good to know they stand behind their knives! I have a couple of of Buck knives....they are great!
Yes they are. Thanks, Gabby.
That’s awesome. I just picked up a 110 with about 1/2 inch broke off tip. Got it for $3.75. Fixing to send it in. Gerber also has great warranty. I had a M600 multi-tool with 3 broke blades/tools. Good to hear about Gerber's service. Thanks for sharing, Kenpo
You’re welcome, buddy! Glad that knife turned out good!
Thanks for getting the ball rolling David, it really worked out.
I just got mine back a couple of weeks ago. I sent it in in February. Worth the wait and worth the $10.00 for the reblade and spa treatment. I paid under $20.00 in a thrift store for it originally.
Frach, thanks for the feedback on your Buck experience. Welcome to the channel.
Lately Buck has impressed me. They have a few foibles like other companies, but as long as they keep making good products for a good price. 👍
A fair and objective point of view Seb. Thanks.
Interesting video review of the Buck warranty program, liked and subscribed
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Guns & Silver. Thanks for watching.
Very reasonable time for custom work, and great outcome. Thanks for sharing.
It was a great outcome. You bet, Richard thanks for watching.

One reason why the turnaround might’ve taken so long for you is that around the holiday season they promote and prioritize custom knife orders with short turnaround times for Christmas.
I'm sure they had a lot going on at that time. No worries it all worked out great. Thanks Brandon.
Wow, not sure what I was expecting but what a turnaround from what it was. Really impressive customer service. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for having a look, Uncommon. Welcome to the channel.
Man that’s really nice to know… I’ve got a buck 192 Alaskan Guide that I need to send in for a nice cleaning and some maintenance. Sounds good Jimmy, good luck.
That's fantastic, i just ordered a 112 can't wait to get it and start carrying it. Great story you have 😀
I appreciate it Mark. The 112 is great.
That says a lot about the Buck Co. Good customer service is key to the success of a quality company. I think the turnaround time is acceptable and a well spent $10.00. Thanks for the video.
Yessir. They did a fantastic job. Thanks Charlie.
Great customer service by Buck. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks TK!
Indeed DD. Very happy 👍🏼

I mailed a 110 to buck on Feb 2, I haven't heard back yet. Hopefully soon.
Great video. I have a 110 currently in for service. I also will be sending 192 Vangaurd in for the SPA treatment. Gotta love that forever warranty! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Let us know how your service goes Knice. Thanks for watching.
Great job 👍 thanks for sharing 🍀
Sure thing. Buck does a great job. Thanks for the comment, Menace.

It's now a great looking knife and a testament to Buck's service.
Thank you CDN. I appreciate the comment. I hope you enjoyed the video.

The hammer marks add character. Always been a fan of Buck knives. Love em all but my personal favorite is the 112.
The 112 is great too. Nothing against either of them, Coop.

Sorry to hear that TN. Let's hope for continued strives to do right by the customer.
Good for you John I’m glad it worked out for you!!!!!! Enjoy your new buck!!!!!!
Thanks very much Pete. Nice Kamp King buddy, it cleaned up great.
You sent it in right at Thanksgiving. They responded at Christmas.
That matters. They sent you back a gem. It came out really good....
Good job Buck Knives ❤....
I'm very happy with the work they did on it. I treasure it.
@Thrifty Kaniffy it's got a cool story too 😎 ❤️....
A friend of mine died and I found his buck 110 in his toolbox. It was destroyed so I sent it to Buck. It was returned as new.. I gave the knife to his mother.
A very nice thing to do, Mike. I applaud your thoughtful generosity.
The 110 is a great knife, classic amaricana. I have one and love it.
Truly American. Thanks John.
I bought a worn out 110 off of Etsy. It came with the original leather case. I paid the money and sent it to Buck. It cmae back like brand new, with all of the old date codes. Alan didn't appreciate what he had. What a shame.
Great Video ! I just lost my 110, so I went and replaced my old friend today.
Ahh shucks. Good luck with the new knife. Thanks, Happy.
Buck did a great job on that knife. She's a beauty and still has some character too.
100% agree AD Van.
I think it took to long, but they did an outstanding job. Love my 110s. Folder and fixed blade..
Patience required. Thanks, Bill.
They tell you on the Buck website that the turn-around is 10-12 weeks and the time will fluctuate. For the price they charge, it can't be beat.
Good deal, nice knife! I've had Buck 110's for 50 years now.
That's excellent. Thanks Jimmy.
My grandpa had a folder from the 70s don't remember the model but the tip snapped off the blade. When I walked him through the warranty process they completely refurbished his knife before shipping it back.
Yes, Johnny that's what Buck will do for you. Thanks!
Every knife has a story. Makes them truly interesting...
Knife tales make this hobby fun. Thanks Clem's and welcome to the channel.
Looks almost new. Good job.
Thanks, Mace. They did a great job on it.
Excellent report Thrifty. I have heard about how Buck backs up their knives. Think I’ll get a 110 for my collection.
They've proven to honor their warrantee. Thanks Robert.
Thanks for sharing your history of the 110, Steve. Welcome to the channel.
It looks like the knife from the Battlestar Galactica episode called Razor with Admiral Cain, pretty neat
I enjoyed that show, but I haven't seen it since it aired. Thanks C&D.
Thanks for having a look, Thomas. You can get the 112 here. www.amazon.com/Buck-Knives-Ranger-Folding-Leather/dp/B000EHWWJG
Someone should have shown the original owner what a hammer is.🔨 This is a knife, 🗡 and this is a hammer 🔨. 😆
Buck did a great job on that knife restoration. I still have my early 1980's Buck 110. They are a tank.
Alan has been erased and the world is better off. You have my word I'll never use it as a hammer. I'd bet your 80's Buck is probably among your sentimental favorites. Thanks William.
I’ve used Bucks warranty and spa service several times , real happy 😊
Thanks for the feedback propblast. That makes two of us.
I sent my Buck in for a little TLC back in the third week of August. After watching video , I'm getting stoked to see it again! $10 sure beats spending more money for a new one. Just gotta remember not to use it as a pry bar, LOL
Yea, it's tempting to do I know, but find something more suitable and keep the blade intact. Thanks, Bernie and good luck with the return of the 110.
Thanks Dan. Alan really worked it over didn't he? 1000% improved.
It's amazing that they did all that. Even though it was clearly abused by the previous owner. Worth the wait, very nice.
I'm happy with the work they did on it. The previous owner was not real nice to it.
Well...that ended up pretty well! I wish I could say the same about Case's warranty service! It was fairly quick but that's because they didnt do much to the knife...lol! Well done Buck!
Buck did a great job. No, I'm terribly sorry you had to go through that. Thanks BigRed.
Hell case can't get new knives out in good condition with good QC... there's zero chance they are gonna do good warranty service.. Case sadly is not what it used to be, totally different company post zippo
@@EDCandLace yeah....it is sad for sure!!
Great story. It adds value to the knife.
Thanks Gerard. Sometimes the story is just as important.
They did a great job! Congratulations 👍
Thank you! Much appreciated Rick.
Expect 3 months or more. Thanks Wolf.
Well done vid. Good story.
Hope lots of folks view your warranty return…. It says volumes on their warranty service.
I’d say 3 mos was about the norm.
Sometimes it takes time for fine wine!
Thanks Rockd. I sent off another we will see how that goes as well.
Fantastic TK! Just an amazing job!
Glad you enjoyed the show. Be well LTC.
Spoken like someone who has lived and learned. Thanks for your perspective, Lux.
Good on Gerber for taking care of you. Shame about the quality of the knife though. Thanks for the feedback Jon.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Yes, and not under ideal circumstances either. I will continue to use my Gerber fixed blade knives which I love.
A lot of Gerbers are made in China now.
Always interested in seeing this kind of thing 👍👍
Hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching Zen.
Wow! They did great. I love Buck knives. To me, they are above Case knives in terms of America's brand. Their quality control is much better to. I love my Case knives, but Buck is above Case in my book. Glad it turned out well for you!
Thank you very much WV. Go 'merica!
@@ThriftyKaniffy absolutely! God Bless America!
Over the years I have had several Bucks and they all worked fine right out of the package and kept on working until I lost them or abused them. That sort of reliability is more important to me than a long warranty.
Sure, I agree. Good to know though if something goes wrong they will take care of you. Thanks Murray.
Well worth the wait. Thanks TK
You're right about that. Thanks Check...
Subscriber David is awesome! you got some good peeps TK!
Kudos to David. Thanks LTC, I really do.
I would like to know the economics of the deal. $40.00 plus $X.00? VS. cost of a new knife? Would help me decide to buy a used knife I found.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing your experience, Cat man.
Lost my buck stockman many years ago and when I found it the knife looked good except that the springs were a destroyed mess . I never thought that buck could’ve fixed it
Glad you had a good experience with the repair. Thanks for sharing, Randy.
Waiting on my 70s 110. They had it for 3 months. Hope it comes back as good. Had mine since the late 80s
I'm sure they will do a fine job, and it should be getting close to being done. Thanks sixgun.
Hey cool story, Lane. Thanks for sharing. They really are the real deal.
Nice to know, I thinking to boy one. Now im will. 😉👍🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Awesome. It's a great American made knife.
I sent in four knives and my experience was similar, but I sent a check with my form. Two re-blades and two SPA treatments. Well worth the wait and money. I’d send more into BKI with no concerns.

Thanks for the comments and link. Some very nice works done to those. Fantastic Dan, I appreciate you sharing.
I've always had good experiences with their guarantee
Good to know. Thanks for the feedback Ralph.
You sent this out a week before Thanksgiving and a month before Christmas, when many people are out on vacation. I am surprised it didn't take longer than it did.
I thought it was reasonable given the timing. Thanks, Happy.
I'd be pretty thrilled just to get service on a second hand purchase alone. Anyway, that knife definitely did some work!
Yes they don't mind that it's second hand, kinda what the whole generational warranty is all about. Thanks, Jeremy.
Immediately hitting flea market n pawn shops 😂😂- great vid - would like to see more from other companies
Thanks David. Good luck out there on the hunt.
I have a 110 I got it from my father and the pin fell out. Do you think they'll fix or replace the whole knife? Thank you kindly.
They'll do whatever's required, if it's fixable I imagine they will. Thanks William.
Glad your emotional journey turned out positive.
Thanks, Ripp. Buck does fine work for their customers.
So they took it all apart, new blade, dang nice job...
That's correct. Thanks Randall.
That's what i call service! I would've waited for a year too for that result.
Yessir!
Nice finds Cents. Great job!
Wow Buck did a great job on that impressive ..... But you TK $40 yr crazy 🤣
Yea, I ain't too bright. Proof that Ignorance is bliss. Thanks JP!
They really did a great job!
Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for watching CBR. I just subbed!
I sent in a Vanguard with the blade broke of near the guard. They sent me a new knife no questions at all
That's really good service. Thanks for sharing, MO.
👍👍👏
Thanks John.
Buck knives have an excellent warrenty service, they just can have a long turn around in my experience. They will NOT send you any parts however, not even a pocket screw or clip. You have to send it in for anything.
Gotta play by their rules.
