Yes you have a nice set of knives I collect buck knives to if you send them in the buck they do the spa treatment I found a buck knife 110 in the pawn shop and paid 35 for it send it into Buck for the spa treatment and they do such a fantastic job on the knives I've been collecting buck knives for 50/60 years now😊
Tom from Knife Delights is going to love this. He is a big Buck collector. You have a really cool collection. Some of these I knew about and there were some new ones to me. Very nice!
Once ya start as a collector, there’s no stopping until your collection is as complete as one can afford and have room for… plus a partner who doesn’t ’revolt’ at the unsanctioned spending. 😊
Happy Thursday Mr. Barlow, when I was 16 ( a long long time ago! ) in London, England, I bought a Buck 110 ( they were still a legal carry back then ). It had been on sale in the USA for a few years & had only just reached the UK & became an instant top seller. I had it in my pocket every day for a couple of years along with my little red Victorinox 58mm Classic as my default keyring knife & the Buck 110 had replaced my Victorinox 84mm Bantam which like the 58mm Classic I had carried from the age of 8 when I got my own door key. I cant remember what I paid for it but it was for me a 16 year old schoolboy a big chunk out of my pocket money & some extra cash I had earned doing odd jobs for neighbors. I had the Buck 110 for a 2 years, kept it in good condition & gave it to an older cousin when I left the UK for good at age 18. I have never owned a Buck since as my lifelong passion has been & always will be for Swiss Army knives however very soon I will once again be in possession of a Buck knife - well sort of! Its not a knife made by Buck but by Wenger for Buck, its the 85mm Swiss Buck Trekker with not one but 2 traditional Buck style Clip Point blades ( one large & one small ) , bought new in box at auction on Ebay & I expect its delivery very soon.
hey can anyone help me with this query i bought some remington knives which came in a tin here in australia but had no shief is that usual does it just depend on what they are?
I have a #422 Bucklite that was made in 1994. My father gave it to me. Out of the 5 Buck knives I own that one is my favorite. It is so light you forget you have it on your belt. It is also very durable. It’s 29 years old and it’s still in fantastic shape.
The buck 500 duke and the 112 are my favorites The 700 series I’ve owned a couple.didn’t like them The back springs always broke.nice video, cool collection!
I like your Buck collection. I purchased 16 Buck knives for friends. I only have 6 Bucks. 4 are 110s. 1 is a 112, and 1 made in China. I like your Buck 705.
Love the wear and tear on those 300's somebody carried and used them for sure.. my favorites are 301, 501 500 and especially my 112 pro in s30v that is a powerful cutter. I'd edc 112 and 110 everyday if i could belt pouch carry them openly 😆... But damn knife laws here in Finland 😔... So in the pocket they go 🤫. Very nice collection you have. Im kinda i interested in the coming retro square 112 in 440c like the original, but if the price is too high 🤷🏻♂️ we'll see...
I agree, $350 for that new buck 112 is way too steep for me haha. I recently saw buck is offering the 110 & 112 in drop point blades for $59 and they look pretty nice. I will pick one up soon for sure. Thanks for watching!
When I saw the thumbnail pop up, I watched it immediately and was not disappointed. I have a 110, a 112 LT and a bone canoe, and would like a 119 in the future, though that 192 would be good too. And a Spitfire. Thanks Senor Barlow!
I prefer the shape of a drop point, I carry a 503 all the time, have several, different blade steel, different handles, have also fixed blades, 119 with rosewood handle and 192 with walnut handle. I have 110, 112 and 55, also have a 110 special edition with drop point blade. Sometimes I carry a 501 micarta handle, I have also a 500 rosewood handle. My first buck was a 703 I purchased at walmart for 7.5$ in 87 that I carried for many years until it closed on me between my thumb and my index and nearly left me incapacitated. If you gonna get a present from me guess what it will be? haha My wife has a very nice little 505 with white stag handle. I can measure how my son is growing as he is not loosing his knife any more. Just a small note: I try to refrain from letting the blade retract by itself as it can touch the spring and damage the edge. With practice it becomes natural to hold the blade until the knife is closed. Also knives can be hold by the blade in a pocket and come out already open which can be handy. Thanks a lot for the video. There are better knives out there but I really like my Bucks, I guess it same for everything in live, find the best value for your wallet, nice designs, solid construction but adapt to your income. So being medium income I have medium priced quality item, except for my wife who is way above my pay check haha
nice collection indeed, over the years i had most "not all" of what you have and each one was a workhorse, i used them in the oilfields over a 40 year stretch and never wore one out, it got lost or sharpend down to a toothpick, "punn intended"
I've been a Buck knife guy for years but mostly the larger knives for hunting and a 124 from 95 for camping. Last week I ordered the 110 drop point, 501, 503 and 055 as EDC's...also eyeballing something from the custom side too.
Just got mine from Walmart a week ago for 35 dollar's! I couldn't believe it. Should of bought two. They are sold out now. And now the price is back to 59.
Etant petit quand j'etais envoye' en classe decouverte et que les autres enfants revenaient avec des souvenirs moi je revenais toujours avec un couteau. Man what I wouldn’t do to get a hold of your buck knife collection I would be restoring and polishing and I would do it for free you might wanna consider investing and some leather restoration and a decent buffing wheel and then add to your collection a guided Knife Sharpen in system for 500 bucks you can make those knives look like jewellery very nice collection
Might you give any idea as to how old you are, Mr. Barlow? You have the voice of a young man, but the interests and the knowledge of an older man. Thoroughly enjoy your channel, however, and I myself also love buck knives. Edit: Never mind, just told us. You're 31. Edit: you have earned my subscription.
Nice collection. I currently have just 2 buck knives and both came from dad's collection. They are a 1990's 110 and an older (very good condition) 317. So far I've focused on other knives because I think Buck USA knives are overpriced.
317 flat grind were camillus not buck made i think all usa items are overpriced and those suckers that bought polaris victory brand motorcycles are some real idiots
Great collection. Personally I prefer the ebony to be near black with no grain. Be careful about the wood warping away from the liners on the 055. Happened to me, I guess a combination of either sweat, moisture, or humidity
man if buck would do the 110 in a steel besides 420hc or s30v i’d own one. id love an old 440c 110 or a 154cm buck 110, or even something like cruwear or something.
I think I have 40 some Buck knives. All US made versions and all the classic line except the GCK that I have two of and the Buck/Tops folder. Have them all in a very big display case. Have the 110 Elite auto coming in a couple days. I’ve sold many Bucks over the years...if I had all of them back I would have about 70 overall.

What a fantastic collection! Thanks so much for your review…..although I probably shouldn’t have watched it, as now I want to start my own collection 😂. Bit of left field question here, but what oil do you use on your knives? Reason I ask is that my Buck 112 was nor shutting properly, just the last little bit which brings blade back into the housing. I was using this KPL Original silicone based oil for the first time, but began to wonder did have negative effect on the working mechanism? Ok I’m a bit of an old fart that’s used to the likes of 3+1 oil and smell that goes with it😊. But I figured this new silicone styled oil was better because they say it doesn’t attract dust etc. Be interested to hear your thoughts, or anyone else out there. In closing, I have small collection of various knife brands, but for whatever reason the Buck just seems like the holy grail for me, a classic!
Very nice collection, I have quite a few bucks myself not sure if it’s 30 or not though I have to get them out and count them. A little jealous though of your 700 series, I only have the 703 and I think it’s one of my favorites. Thanks for the video
@@MrBarlow Yes it is, the 703 is one I wouldn’t get rid of. Definitely in my top 5, that I have. I counted my Buck collection and it’s 23, so I getting there. Have a good one.
Love Buck. I carry a 110 slim select and have several pocket knives but the pride of my collection is my dads 112 he bought when i was a baby. Still have the leather sheath circa 1980.
The title says it's a Buck collection and you mentioned it at the start. Was it necessary to say each one was a Buck? Nice collection anyway. The blade on 1 you referred to as a baby spey is a coping blade
I just received four of the five bucks I ordered. One is in the custom shop so will be a while yet. I must say they were a big disappointment. Of the four that I did receive only one is decent and worth keeping. The build quality is poor on several and the spring protrudes from the handle and is not flush with the liners. On one the the backspring is weak to the point that I have to close the blade into the handle. The only one of the four I received that was decent is the 112 Ranger I'll keep it. The others 110, 501 Squire, 726 MiniSPitfire are all going back and I'll have to wait to see if the custom one is any better or if I have to return it also. Buck has to do better. they should be ashamed to let these leave the factory like that.
Buck did NOT make all their 300 Series knives, Camillus made the flat grind ones prolliby the same for the 500 series . camillus even made knives for case, schrade and likely every brand
@@MrBarlow I have to confess I've been eyeballing a standard 119... but a Cold Steel Wild West Bowie and a Condor Undertaker came first. Been making a bowie for Christmas a thing...🤔🤣

I have a number of Bucks myself.. in my 'Tiny' collection, (4 knives) A factory custom 110 (blue scales / nickel bolsters) w/ leather sheath. A Chinese 371 stockman, and too, a 701 stockman as well, that I received new as a gift many years ago. (late 80s, early 90s I believe) the "Buck" side-shield printing is script tho like your 704, not the block print like your 701.. I had to look at the 701 part of the video a number of times. I noticed that unlike yours, my 701, had another oddity, the clip point blade and the sheep's foot blade open on the same hinge. Still has great snap on closing.. I carry the 701 in a leather sideways belt sheath everyday.. Handy.. Lastly, I am awaiting the arrival tomorrow for a NitB 50th anniversary Buck 112 Ranger w/ leather sheath. One month left before these go out of production. Thanks for the effort! Nice collection
One of the most comprehensive overviews of Buck knives on RUclips. An impressive collection of Bucks. Thanks for sharing this. - Tennessee Smoky
Best Buck collection I’ve ever seen. Btw a little brass cleaner from Amazon would really clean all that brass up
Does it de value my 110 made between 1974 and 1980 to polish the brass ?
I received my 110 in 1980 for my 9th birthday. Still have it in its leather sheath.

The 503 is a great little knife. Just watched your “Buck 110 is the greatest knife” video! I’d love to see your collection!
