I took the liberty of rolling up a blunt and watched the current 4 episodes and I had an absolute journey and a half during those 80 minutes. Watching this while baked felt like an out of body experience. This is PEAK anime, from what I’ve heard about the manga is that this is only the start of the nightmarish content and I’m definitely here for it😏

As someone who is caught up in the Manga, this is just the start of the whole fun. The manga was so much fun reading but it wasn't only funny or romantic, it legit had everything. Epic fight scenes, big hype moments, cute interaction, romance that has you giggling and smiling like a little girl, *insert sadness and sorrow* backstory, moments where they just be chilling, slice of life, great character designs, friendship bonding, sports like baseball and football(soccer for all you freedom people), none of the side cast got forgotten, rivalry between characters, alot of randomness and not to forget one crazy good story. The Manga is PEAK. So if they keep the anime like that it is going to be Anime of the year
Nah man, you’re absolutely right, it’s by far the best anime this season and very well may be the best this year. The manga is also epically good, this anime was science saru’s to succeed or fail at because the original story/art is amazing, it just depended on the effort they put in and they clearly nailed it so far. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could argue how good it is. It’s the only anime I really look forward to this season.

also the most peak thing is that turbo granny in the dub is actually voiced by the english voice actor of luffy and the original aliens that were freaky are voiced by the va of zoro issa crazy
I like it because of the nerdiness of Ken, silliness, art color, contrast of color in personality. They nail the teenage behavior. I like things like that and part of why I liked the kamaboko trio in demon slayer. The transformation of Ken is what made me want to watch.
i havent seen anyone else talk about this but the way okarun and momo work and vibe together reminds me a lot of maka and souls interactions and just like general relationship throughout the soul eater manga (we dont talk about the anime) and the general vibe somehow feels similar
Dandadan IS anime of the year for me :D Manga just has it all. Comedy had me laughing on the floor, romance and fights on the edge of my seat and the drama just hits different between all this unserious joke-scenes. + Bro, nice video.

About THAT scene. Do people not realise that the scene is purposefully made to make you feel awkward and see how different the aliens are. I see this a lot with this type of media. People stopping a show because of a scene making them uncomfortable when that is the purpose of the scene. Such as the first scene of goblin slayer. Obviously these scenes aim to show other things as well such as story, character, power, and to some extent, sex appeal. The scene is really good and it makes me sad that people are dropping the scene because of it. Especially since it’s the only scene like it in the show. Like when overlord had a scene in the first episode that was pure fan service and we NEVER see a scene on the same level of fan service for the rest of the 4 seasons and movie. (I get made when people drop shows due to a single thing. Can you tell)

The concept of this anime reminds me of Eureka seven.. it's about young lovers who are confuse with their feelings.. lot's of comedy but will get darker along the way. That's why I love dan da dan more than JJK and Demon Slayer. Alien+ghosts+romcom is refreshing
