POKEMON but it's on PS1 (Digimon World 1)

POKEMON but it's on PS1, which is actually Digimon World 1 on Ps1.
The games do having striking similarities and that's not surprising.
Not to say that Digimon is a Pokémon clone, cause it's technically a Tamagotchi clone... However, it does take heavy influence from Pokemon clearly. "How much?" you may ask yourself.

Got this game for my birthday, played it a ton, never understood how to play it and always ended up with a poo monster. Friend from school offered to help me level, gave them my game disc and my save card and they fell off the face of the earth, couldnt play anymore after they stole it. Never progressed at all, but my childhood enjoyment was still high until it was stolen
