The best kind of judge is one who truly participates the way that he did, not just that "Hi Ru, slay, ok'rrr, vogue-yes-the-house-down-mama-boots" thing that some of them do. He saw them as true performance artists and gave them feedback as such. It was beautiful to watch.
I served Andrew twice. A few years apart and different bars, the second time I was a bartender at a restaurant in North London. As he was going to the toilet we clock each other he comes over and remembers my fucking name from two years ago, then requests the cocktail I had made him the last time, ended up chatting for 5 minutes then he remembered he needed to pee. Also gave a £50 tip for the meal (the whole meal was £130) and gave me a £20 tip personally. The nicest most down to earth man ever!
This didn't age well with the subsequent seasons, lol. (Ex: the H&M Ru explosion of season 2, and then the aggressiveness in some of the cast of season 3 - which was due to a lot of pressure on the girls during filming, in fairness to them)
I knew he was my favorite Spider-Man for a reason. How charming he was, and what wonderful, useful critiques he gave. He had such a calm, respectful energy. He was really great!
For some reason all my social media accounts stared to recommend things about Andrew, I never understood why people liked him so much, but this and other videos have showed me. I understand now.
