Short answer: no. This customer had those codes and had someone else replace the one of the vvt solenoids first. They never cleared the code and she brought it to us after that. We looked into it and the rocker solenoid was all we found wrong with it. It has been trouble free since filming.
I like that you mentioned new parts most likely to be good there is years of experience reflected from that sentence
but the spec for the solenoid is between 10 and 30 ohms... why do you say the lower ohm solenoid is the good one?

Is there a torque spec on those 3 bolts?
I swapped out mine and now my car pumping out excessive amount of exhaust smoke, the weird part is the check engine light did not come back on.
Did replacing this part also clear the P16D0 code?
