i remember staying up late to watch this when i was in junior high and barely being awake to make it to the performance. also the first time i had ever seen or heard them play live. such awesome memories.
Me too dude. I don’t recall how old I was when they were on there but I was born in 87 so probably around a junior in high school. (Or supposed to be a junior. I was a knucklehead in school but that’s another story.)
Well...i know its not everybody that thinks that....but...FOR ME!.... this is the best band in the world i always listen to that band.... Minimum 4hrs per day.... sometimes is like 9 hrs!!!
Hahahah this comment is ancient, but when I was much younger and this was new lol... I had a dedicated CD player for only playing CKY lol. I would listen for the same amount of time for like 3 years in Junior high hahaha
Stayed up xtra late to watch this, loading up the bong the whole night 🤣🤘🏻got to school in the morning and hopped right on the forum to talk about it on the Alliance forum. Those days were the fucking best ever
It was normie television in the early 2000's, bro. Dude was reading whatever shit was in front of him and these appearances were arranged by labels and corporations.
Okay, but that bass tone though.... I can't tell whether I hate it or want to marry it. Also, the live vocals never sounded as good to me as the studio version. I'm not talking about performance or whatever and not bitching. Just wonder why stylistically they didn't want to go for that sound live.
@@KolaTheBear valid. Though, if they were going to record whole albums like that, it probably would've been a good idea to be able to replicate it live. There are harmonizer pedals and such so should've been possible to do something
@@isaakhyde8327 No. I agree with you on that. I hate when bands sound so flat and lifeless live, it is the same when a band has multiple guitars in studio but we are left with one guitar playing half of what you hear in studio.

FFS! Vernon's bass tone punched me in the face. I love it
I would say that about Vern
Haven’t heard this song in some time. Thanks for the jaunt down memory lane
I remember staying up late too and watching this. Was a junior in high school. Best years

Are you still alive?
fk yes.great comment
Craig Kilborn was good at what he did. ESPN Anchor, original Daily Show host. Then he kind of just disappeared…
Jon Stewart and Craig Ferguson were just generally better received
I have been listening to this song regular for 18 years.
Barely , if ever, played this one live at this point

I stayed up late in 10th grade to watch this shit, and it was absolutely worth it.
cKy is the best band in the world!!! i wanna see them in show but they dont come a lot of times in Montreal!
I saw them in Toronto 2009, not too far from Montreal. 14 years ago though
96 quite bitter beings and this song are really fun to play on guitar.
As a bass player, fuck yes!! Love how much the bass punches through but not too much to over power the lead or vocals.
Bet it’s hard to sing this live ,great performance tho great energy tho
lol the stage is too small for them
This is for the alliance
Darren miller is a Genius!
For a Second i Thought This performance had a Different Bassist But then i Realized that In the Plastic Plan Video Vernon Has the Same Bass Lmao.
This is a 10/10 album
Vern’s Drunk!
Bass sounds nice here man
I stayed up late to record this on a vhs when I was in highschool! ❤❤
Awesome. That host is embarrassing as fuck with that intro. "Nu metal skate rats?"

None of those words were insults then. We weren't pussies.
Holy shit Jess must be playing a 18 inch floor Tom haha thing is huge
Big Bonham fan
Jess Margera, very underrated

Right! but IDK. they could have had fx running during the show.
I think the problem is that there is not a background vocalist... A lot of bands suffer from this problem

Chad is a fantastic producer, and knows how to make Deron's voice sound amazing on record. Live is a whole other animal.
