I’ve applied for the Radiology Tech program 3 times and have been waitlisted each time. It’s been discouraging and frustrating. However, after watching this video, I have a better understanding of all the opportunities and paths available. It also reminds me that good things come to those who wait and that good things don’t come easy.
I have a question for anyone in this field. How much standing, walking and moving about in a hospital setting do rad tech do in a typical shift? I'd like to keep my brain as well as my body healthy in a job that I will doing as a career.
My step sister worked many years as a rad tech and there is alot of standing and walking also LIFTING and MOVING patients...high tendency to hurt your back ...so you will have to work out your muscles to prevent injury
